My husband and I got married 5/22/21 here and Chip & Travis were so helpful. They made sure We were taken care of all day getting ready and all evening! I had outside decor and my own decor and they helped me set everything up morning of the wedding! They helped so much, it’s more than just renting a venue with them.

The venue is beautiful, and very competitively priced! The General Manager Chip was very helpful, he had suggestions to help us in our event planning, and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend! Pleasure to work with!
Beautiful, grand place. Yet such terrible service. It’s beyond atrocious how my loved ones & I were treated by General Manager, Chip. He is incredibly insensitive, arrogant, inconsiderate, and downright rude. The customer service aspect of this business simply does not exist. I do not appreciate being yelled at & talked down to, especially not by someone who is supposed to oversee superb customer care. Chip, I believe you’d book more if you actually took time to listen & accommodate accordingly. Even your employees seem to think so as they hang their heads low while you exhibit such rude behavior. I truly hope you take time to fix your disgusting, unwarranted attitude.
What a fabulous venue! I was scheduled to hold my birthday party last year on July 11th. Because of the pandemic, it was rescheduled for November 7th. The pandemic took care of that date and prior to the untimely death of my husband, July 10th was chosen. You could not find a staff that was more accommodating than Chip and the the Royal Palm employees. They assisted with every aspect of the party from helping with the decorations, to accommodating the band, to rearranging the tables, to adding to the menu, to helping to take down the decorations and packing the van.The food setup was gorgeous and the food was delicious. I could not have chosen a better venue. Everything was awesome. I received nothing but positive comments.
Was such a beautiful setting for a wedding however the food was very good but when they past the food around some tables were never served,maybe the staff was short handed or something.
I’m a wedding and event planner. The Royal Palm is one of the easiest venues to work with in the New Orleans metro. It’s convenient to the quarter hotels, food is amazing and the service is outstanding! They even have decor items and speciality linen. The outdoor ceremony area is gorgeous at night and the interior space is huge! I highly recommend this venue for any type of event!

Royal palm is actually the best place for any event!! But they were awesome for a baby shower we threw and very very friendly and helpful and welcoming. We went and saw a few places and they were the best first impressions and we were well pleased with alot of compliments from our guests as well.
Beautiful place in and out but terrible service. Multiple of my guests were treated rudely based on their race. I wouldnt subject my guests to that if I were you.

My husband and I got married at the Royal Palm back in February and I fell in love with the place before I even walked in! Our wedding was suppose too be in 2018 but some unfortunate circumstances came up and they accommodated us by allowing us to push our wedding back a whole year!! They were very helpful with the while decor planning process. Even tho their werent much decor to choose from they allowed to use everything they had The set up guy I cant remember his name but he made my wedding day perfect for me. Every move my husband and I made he was right there with what we needed before we even asked! Scratch the planner and the guest they made my wedding day perfect and I would advise anyone to have their wedding here!!!!!!
My son and his bride just got married there last weekend. The place is so beautiful and the food was great. Chip and his staff were amazing they took care of all of our needs. We come here for Pokemon go. They have 8-10 pokestops and 2 gyms. Its a great place to fill them bags. Its a beautiful little plaza with several fountains and many businesses. Try it out, you will love it.
Ive been to several weddings and parties here and I recommend this place to anyone I know whos getting married or looking for place to host a special occasion like an Anniversary party. Perfect area for an outdoor ceremony as well as spacious indoor areas and a balcony.

I could have never picked a better venue!!! I celebrated my daughters sweet 15 party (Quinceñera) and it was the best on March 18, 2017!!! Kim the Manager heard and understood all our wants!!! OMG and the food is delicious! I would definitely recommend and host another party here!!! I could go on and on!!! Royal Palms Definitely made my daughters birthday a night to remember!!!!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!Im a local business owner that has several upcoming events and wanted to host them at the Royal Palms. Ive sent several emails that has gone unanswered since April (Its now Oct). The last 4 have still not been replied to. Back in June, I went in person and spoke to the Director of Sales, Kimberly Whalen, to get quotes and line up dates for my events. Upon leaving she informed me she would email me the quotes and she was excited about having one of my events scheduled on one of their slow days (Mon-Wed). In the weeks following Ive called, emailed, called again and emailed again only to find out she left for vacation. Still, to this day, never received my quotes or any emails from her.Ill admit---with my businesses and life, time got away from me and now (in Oct) Im back on track and still trying to organize the same events; so I stopped in at the Royal Palms today (10-10-2015 a little after 4pm) and find Kim slumping over the front podium talking/laughing with two other people (which appeared to be employees). I reintroduced myself and refreshed her memory about myself and my events. Before I could finish, she cut me off and said, I cant do it!. I cannot do an event unless its at least $14,000 in sales. So, just to see what she would say, I asked: So only weddings and baby showers? ...and her answer was YES!.Im sure youre thinking the same thing I was, How did she know the cost of my event? Whos to say I wasnt going to pay $14K? and Whos having baby showers (in this area) for $14K?...lol like really Kim! Basically, I knew she was BS-ing me because she couldve easily emailed me that info months ago! I came home and dug a little deeper on their website, only to find out (even more so) that shes a liar and a horrible sales rep, and NOT AT ALL (by any means) a DIRECTOR of sales! This venue does every thing from weddings and concerts down to birthday parties and anniversary dinners ---which Im sure cost less than $14K......and you can even customize your event to fit your budget!So Kim, as the Director of Sales for The Royal Palms, youd rather put a $0 day on record for the days you admitted had no business (Mon-Wed), than take my money for a corporate mixer, which needless to say, can expose your venue to the movers and shakers in the city who may want to potentially book this venue in the future? Im overwhelmed with your lack of knowledge in sales.ALL MONEY ISNT GOOD MONEY, BUT SOME MONEY IS BETTER THAN NO MONEY!Obviously, you are costing the venue more than you are making it!
