Do not trust this man with your electronics.I had a tv that needed LED light replacement, I brought it to Steve and when I got it back the tv didn’t sit correctly on the legs. It leaned forward so much that the picture quality was effected. I wonder if he stole the tv speaker inside the television, because the audio and buttons on the tv didn’t work when he returned it. (Everything worked fine before he touched it) Steve actually super glued my tv closed and super glued it to the mount. When I confronted him about it he told me that it was fixed and he wouldn’t refund me or fix my issues.I’m not sure what kind of shady business this man is running but please avoid his “business” at all costs!

Steve let me watch him troubleshoot and diagnose the bad board on my TV and was a pleasure to talk to. The business/workshop area was a bit disorganized.

Dont do business with this man. He is not honest at all he will change the price after taking 8 months just to fix a simple HDMI return my new system with scratches, dents he even wrote on it. also didnt even repaired the system he mailed it to get fix with out letting me know I found out few months after I ask why was taking so long. SMH, dont waste your time and money!!!.

Do not trust this man. He came our as a Certified Sony technician and while he was in the process of the repair he cracked the TV screen. He quickly removed the new warranty parts shipped to him from Sony packed up and left. He did not take responsibility and report the incident to Sony, did not return the parts and we have not heard from or seen him again. An Honest technician would have reported the incident but he left us with a broken TV that was quite a big purchase for us. Very disappointed, and angry at him.

I got back a taped together TV. I paid over $100 for carelessness. Do not recommend. Better off anywhere else.

Not only did Steve fix our 60 2013 Samsung tv he did it at a fair price which makes me a very satisfied customer. Steve kept me informed on the progress of the repair though out the time he had it which I thought was very courteous. The whole experience was professional and I will use Steve again for electronic repairs without hesitation. Thank you Steve!

I was told that because my tv model did not ring a bell that I was incorrect with I must have gotten the model number wrong. Person on the phone was very rude.

Great guy, great service! I called him on a Friday, dropped my Samsung 60 inch tv off that was not showing a picture. The next day on Saturday my tv was done. Great price for service as well. I will definitely go back if I have any other TVs with issues and I’ll be letting people know of him.

Steve took 4 months and $250 to fix my television. I got it home and it worked for 15 minutes. In the end my television never got fixed and I never got a refund. I think its worth mentioning that he pretended to give me a refund to get me to leave his shop and then charged my card a second time. I should have researched this shop more. The proprietor is pretty shady.

I have a Samsung 40 LED flat screen that lost its picture but had voice, I was not about to throw it out and buy a new one as it was only five years old and it had a great picture. I brought it into Steves Electronics and within one week he fixed the problem and I had my beautiful TV back in excellent working order. He was a pleasure to do business with, he definitely knows his electronics. The repair cost was very reasonable, I couldnt have replaced the TV for what I paid to have it fixed. So if you have a TV that you absolutely love and its giving you a problem, before you think about discarding it I highly recommend that you bring it to Steve for his evaluation, you wont be disappointed. Thank you Steve!!!

After my experience at Steve’s I will never take my electronics anywhere else. My repairs were made way faster than expected and inexpensively also. This is the way business should be done.

Wanted to wait before I wrote a review. Steves Electronics did a great job repairing my 2 TVs 55inch Sanyo and 47inch JVC Steve took the 2 TVs did a diagnostic on the 2 TVs told me the boards were bad.He ordered parts and replaced the boards now both my TVs and working. Will update if needs be but both TVs and working. 👍👍👍👌

When my 2 yr old Samsung lcd tv stopped working, I was furious! I looked for someone to hopefully fix it. Steve was highly rated so I called him. He came to look at the tv that same night for a very reasonable price. He immediately knew what was wrong and emailed Samsung for a price for the part. He called me the next day to tell me that the part was very expensive and it was back ordered!He recommended not fixing it. I truly appreciated his fast response and honesty. If I ever need electronics repair again, he will be the one that I call.

My Samsung flatscreen stopped working after about seven years. I googled TV repair in Hartford and decided to try Steve. He said he could come over right when I got home from work so I set it up, I was apprehensive because I’ve never had a TV repairman come to my house but when Steve arrived with all of his tools and inventory I was relieved. He took the back of the television off, found a bad capacitor and replaced it with the help of a soldering iron .put it back together in a minute and television works fine. When he first started working I asked him what he thought the bill was going to be and he told me it less than $200. My experience was fantastic and I highly recommend Steve.

I called this repair shop,to inquire about service, and operating schedule, the gentleman who answered the phone, confirm I am Steve. no customers greetings, right away was the deposit on the repair. I dont think that was a very good impression of his business. Shape up on your customers phone mannerisms. I went with someone more professional.

I took Steve a 72 in t.v, Steve said it would be a quick fix. Gave him a 50 dollar deposit, 3 weeks later he told me the t.v was trash and not fixable. Will not go back!!

Its been two weeks and my amp has not been fixed.

I dropped my TV off and it took like a week for me to hear back from him. After several calls, he confirmed it was ready. Charging me $200, 3 weeks later same problem happened again with my TV. I dropped back off and he was going to charge me again and I said Im not paying again for same problem. He fix again and 1 month later I have SAME problem for the 3rd time. He using old parts from the hundreds of broken TVs he has in the back. Never Never again

Guy can’t fix nothing don’t waste your time just buy it new again. Had my amp for 5 months it. I lost time and a deposit of 40$.

Im recommend people going to fix TVs radio speakers to Steves, because he got good price, for the person and he good person and he tell face to face quickly what it the problem with the items TV or radio, he tell you the cost you more fix, and it better get new one Steves tell you that guy it reasonable with the prices it not too high changed he give a good price,and he want you be happy with your items and satisfied. I had a great experience with this repair facility they came out and checked my 60 inch big screen which the color was fading and had it fixed in a few days the color is great and the pricing was reasonable.

Iv known this company for 18 yrs. never been disappointed. from VCR days to my last plasma TV. he just repaired . I decided to write this because, my son had brought the tv from Arizona, a TV repair shop over there had told him, the parts is no longer available, he repaired the Tv in 4 days.. some people must be unhappy with him . but I think hes one of the few good TECHS . left around.

Dropped my LG lcd tv off over 2 months ago and every time I call he claims to be waiting for a part. He has told me on three different occasions hed call me back but he never does. I really wish I had gone somewhere else because I think I may just have to invest in another tv which sucks....Never again!!!!
