My experience with Ultimate Staffing Services has definitely been the best experience I have ever had with an employment agency. When I was having a difficult time finding a position after completing graduate school, they were eager to help place me. I came in for an interview, created a short video resume using their software, and landed a temporary assignment with an amazing organization shortly thereafter. Everyone here is incredibly kind and supportive! They even called me on my birthday, which was so thoughtful and unexpected. It is like a breath of fresh air working with this agency! I highly recommend giving them a chance and seeing how they are for yourself!

I was at a crossroads in my life when I finally decided, after 7 years, to leave the retail industry and get back into a Monday through Friday office job. I was scared, yet determined to make this change and I explained that to Michelle during my interview. I told her what my goals were and how I wanted to accomplish them. I was done working nights and weekends and ready to transfer my skills from customer service to administrative and law. Michelle was so supportive, almost like a friend, not an employer. She made me feel at ease with my decision. Working with Michelle, Guin and Tiffany was the best decision I could have made because before I knew it, I was back to work and in the legal field - just like I wanted! I cant thank Michelle enough for encouraging me and more importantly, finding me a job in such a short period of time. My experience was excellent 🙌 so far. I am working with Gwen in Hartford. She was great, she was real. She didnt give me any false expectations. I have only met her just 8/28/2018 but I am looking forward to working with her in the future. The office is clean, the workers there are very welcoming. As soon as I came in I was offered a seat in the office nd a glass of water, as I waited for Gwen because I came early...prior she was on a phone interview and attended to me ASAP. It was nothing but good vibes.

Very disappointed with this agency. Was interested in an opportunity they were advertising, went in for an interview with one of the recruiters - actually met with two different ones from different sides of business (legal and finance) - and never heard back from them again. That was several months ago. I sent followup emails that went unanswered. I really dont appreciate that. I have a lot of qualifications and skills that were disregarded for reasons I dont know. Avoid them at all costs.

For those that have found they go dark, that is not answer voicemails and/or emails, it is because they perform backdoor reference checks. What this means is they check references on employers you havent explicitly given permission to speak to. They arent doing anything illegal per se because somewhere in the application process there is likely something that gives them permission to do so. This is however a grimey way of doing business and far more disgraceful than the worst they will hear about the majority of candidates that they in turn decide arent worthy of their services. Are employees not always at their best? Sure, but there are also many vengeful employers out there that will jump at the chance to say not eligible for rehire. Candidates arent wrong for trying to protect themselves by not listing an employer they know is going to slander them. There are two sides to every story but this agency will seemingly take the employers side 100% of the time. And you will never know because they, appallingly unprofessionally, will never call you back.

As a former applicant felt they demonstrated poor customer service, never return messages when they said they would, they put up a job posting and then they still have you send a resume for the 20th time even though it was submitted thru their online job application system or careerbuilder, etc. Definitely better temp agencies out there.
