All around unpleasant experience. Woman operating phones is extremely rude and unpleasant. She sounds as though she doesnt even want to be there and doesnt want to be bothered. Needs to be replaced, but most likely a family member, so that wont happen. Jim is a nice guy, but had me send pics of problem area on my truck and said he would get back to me within 30 minutes. A week passed... I didnt hear back, so I sent him a follow-up text and nothing. A second week passed and I called him only for him to tell me the part I need is not available. He rushed me off the phone so fast the he abruptly hung up and didnt give me a chance to ask what I was going to ask. Unfortunately, customer service there wont ever change, because its been like that forever. What that area needs is a top notch competitor with decent customer service where people can go to instead.
I have been trying to get my stuff from my car for over a month but they are making it impossible. But of course they had no problem taking my money for the storage fee. The woman who answers the phones is the rudest person I have ever spoken to in my entire life.Edit: ok they disposed of my car without notifying us. With all my belongings still in the car. Over priced. Even the small things. Went to buy a rear light cover and it was $100 for 1 side. Got L&R side for $65 elsewhere. I went in person because the lady on the phone kept hanging up on me. She was just as rude in person. And one of the men working there asked if I need help I told him what I was there for and he priced me even lower for just the one side. So Im not sure whether he wanted to pocket the money or she was pocketing the extra money. So I never went back there again. Let me just say that that was a few years ago and still to this day I dont call or go there at all
Ok business. Told me that the part was on the shelf on the phone and also charged me a higher cost than what was quoted when I got there.I waited an hour and a half in the waiting area and while there. 3 different customers had the wrong things ordered. One person it was an electrical part that could not be returned. Be careful

Lady at the front desk answering phones is extremely rude to customers. Reading back on the reviews, it looks like I am not the only one that thinks the same. She should not be working at a place where customer service should be a priority. She does not care or wants to help customers. The first time I called she hung up the phone, the second time, she was straight up rude and did not want to answer my questions.
Highly recommend this Place. They help me to get the parts at a good price. Also the person who attended me was very polite.

Ive never had an issue with Coronas! Honestly kind of shocked at the reviews since they were always so pleasant with me. We received tremendous help when the program I was running in Hartford had a break down with one of their vehicles.Ive since turned to them for body work and parts and always had a wonderful experience - by phone or email.They have a diverse staff and nice employees, from my experience.

As far as the towing goes, I had a great experience this morning with Coronas. I was using the towing coverage through my insurance, and was very pleased when Hippie arrived much quicker than I would have expected, especially with how far away from the shop I was, in addition to my sub-par job giving him an accurate location. He was extremely friendly and professional, and even gave me a hand getting my vehicle back into my garage. I absolutely recommend them! Thanks
I purchased a car through property Room which coronas autoparts handles their vehicles. I was concerned and called 3 times to Corona auto parts Just to ask questions but the lady on the other line receiving the call is very rude and Speaking to me in a very slow voice like I do not understand what she is saying Why cant they just hear the customer out and answer their questions and not be mad that the customer keeps calling and asking questions when the car is not ready for pick up its part of doing business. If they dont like dealing with online auction costumers then get out of the business just saying. Friendliness goes a long way Especially For business.
Very unprofessional. I was in an accident and my car was towed here. They told me the car is totaled, which I understood and can junk it right there. They would not let me get my personal belongings that I needed for work like a key for a safe at my job and some clothes, without paying the tow fee and storage fee. Now I can see that making sense if I planned on taking the car out of there. I am giving them a bmw 328is, which they will chop up and sell for parts, which I know they will make more than decent money on. The lady at the front desk or whoever answered the phone was so rude and unprofessional. What the hell are they going to do with my clothes in the car? Why not let me get them instead of trying to rape me for money on a car that I did not call you to tow? I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau next.
This place is horrible!!! First of all, they answered the phone without introducing themselves. Just Hello. I thought I had the wrong number.Secondly, I just called asking for a part and quote. I was told they might have the part but not the same colour. Then he tells me to get a quote from the dealer and get back to them. I dont understand why there are so many negative reviews for this place! I called last week to schedule a pickup for an old 1970s pickup truck thats been sitting in our lot for like 15+ years. Every other junk yard I called gave me an issue, asking if we had paperwork on it, like obviously not! This Corona place is amazing. Came in to check out the pickup truck buried underneath hazardous branches, a tree literally was grown onto the truck. They pulled it out for us and took care of it. Thanks guys so much! REALLY GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
I had an accident on June 25, and my car was brought to your garage by Hippie. He arrived promptly, was very professional, yet kind and caring He went over and above letting my dog ride in the cab of the flatbed. he talked to me on the way to Coronas, more to calm me down than anything. I felt very fortunate to have had such service in the midst of a very upsetting experience. Thank you Hippie!
I had my vehicle towed there not by my choice but because I had heat stroke and passed out they had my car towed there. When I went to pick up the car the next day she had the nerve to tell me I should not use drugs that way I wont pass out. Well I work landscaping you beyotch and it was 100 degrees that day with high humidity.! Ill never go there if I have a choice
I work for the transportation company and called to confirm the car for pick up, and the lady on the phone was shockingly rude. I had some question, and she was speaking like i am in army, and hang up the phone several times. The i asked for the manager, she said she is the manager and hung up again, I called again and asked fo rthe manager and again she said no and hung up. That is so unporfessional and shocking, that i had to write the review, even though i never get bothered by that. First time i faced such a treatment.

I set up a tow, I called to confirm if the tow got to my vehicle yet and the lady on the other end of the phone was extremely rude. She couldn’t reach out to the driver and told me she didn’t have time for this because she was leaving In 20 minutes. She was then yelling at me over the phone and hung up on me. I would not recommend them if this is the customer service they provide. Extremely rude to her customers and miserable.

I called these people for an altinator, completely respectful as anyone would given I need their assistance. A gentleman in parts gets on the phone and tells me to buy a new one after I had given him the year make and model of my car. Then proceeds to hang up in my face....I called him back of course and asked why he had hung up on me. He then Gave me the answer he should have given me in the first place which was they do not have them in stock. But if so theyd be $80! For a used altinator that you dont have??!?And your rude on top of it..Never again. Very bad experience.

They did not have the fender I needed in stock but located one the same color in Boston. Ordered it, three days later had it in Hartford. Slightly more expensive than buying the part new but saves me the expense of painting it. Staff was friendly and easy to work with.
Anyone thinking to get any kind of service from Coronas Auto Parts you will be making one of the worst mistakes of your life. I would never see a place rated two stars and do any form of transaction with them, Im telling you this because this happened to me and I never had nothing to do with them but the Auction Company had the car parked at their location for me to pickup and those on phone communications with Coronas was one of the worst. I even reported the case because Coronas Employees were rude and indiscipline most especially a female Customer Representative, she shouts at you hang up calls on you. With gas prices as high as they are us as smart consumers call and shop around for car parts and prices so it saves time and money and the place of businesses time as well why have customers at your store physically if you dont even have what they need? I called to see if they had the wheel I needed. I was rudely put on a hold for 6 minutes only to have some one pick up and only listen to part of what I needed. He claimed the only way to get this worked out was to bring in the damaged / sample wheel and match it up. He has over 300 wheels supposedly. Maybe so, but I live over an hour away and I asked him if he didnt want to listen to the description... VERY SPECIFIC.. could I text or email a picture and he wouldnt do it. He told me eh, just come in any time. So rude I hung up.
Criminals... Uses uninformed people to run their business.. I had bought a new car so decided to junk my old car. Before I could do so, it was towed away by Coronas from my apts parking lot because I didnt have a decal. The front desk lady is extremely rude. I was asked to pay $150. When I said I will have someone tow the car (it had a salvage title), she wanted me to pay $290. I still dont understand how it jumped to $290 if I get it picked up on my own. She gave vague answers when I questioned it. Every conversation ended with her saying I am not going to argue with you. I ended up paying $150 and lost the car. Did not get a dime for junking it (was offered $300 by Franes Auto).Uninformed people like me, please please please stay away from them. If you have to deal with them, do your homework before you see them.And if Karma theory is true then that b**** should rot in hell.

I called just now for a part of a bmw the person didnt identify him self didnt let me talk and hang up on me with me finished what I need to say. These guys told me they had multiple alternators but i had to bring the vehicle in for them to determine the amps on it. Sat there for over an hour (nobody looked at the vehicle) for them to tell me the part is in Danbury rebuilt for $190, i told him autozone has it new for $180 and he tried to tell me autozone only sells used parts... dont trust a word they say!
These people are vultures! I called today asking if they had a part for my car and they told me sure we got that just come in. I asked for confirmation and some details and a price and they insisted. just come in, we have it and it will take 10 minutes to get it once you arrive. I drove an hour to get there and they didnt have the part. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My friend got a phone call from police that his stolen car was found.(two blocks away from this garage) car was towed to this garage without our choice. The women there didnt let us see the car before paying 463 dolar charge for towing. Than we paid and saw the car theres literally nothing left on the car.no engine ..no Tires..nothing..I respect the thief who stole the car. more than this garage..of course if they are not working together...
