In spite of the negative reviews, I contacted Kunz when my fridge stopped working. My experience is as follows:1. They were able to get to my house the same afternoon that I called them, with their competitors telling me it would be a week for an appointment.2. Eric was able to get the fridge running again in about a half hour, at a very reasonable price.There was no rudeness, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. Give them at try, I am very impressed and grateful for the good service.
I havent used them in some time but was about to call him when I noticed all these negative comments. I was very surprised as Ive always found him helpful, competent and timely. He is definitely older than many and in my mind that is an asset because he has lots of experience. I will agree that he can be somewhat of a curmudgeon to talk to or with.
I used this place when the door handle on my fridge broke since it was under warranty. They said they would order it for me. I would call on occasion, the lady would rudely tell me it wasnt in and hang up. After 8 months of dealing with that, I contacted Maytag and they said the piece should have been in within 2 weeks and was never on back order and appeared to have never been ordered. They sent me a new piece and when I got it, I need the screws from the old piece. I asked Kunz for my pieces back and they said they had thrown everything away. Would never use again... would also never buy a Maytag if this is their only authorized service tech.
Still waiting for them to show up for service warranty call that was scheduled yesterday. Also still waiting for a return phone call from one of the five phone messages that were left for them to contact us regarding the scheduled service call. Not sure, but I truly believe this company doesn’t believe in customer service or upholding their responsibility when it comes to contractual obligations to Warranty agreements with GE Appliances.
Absolutely horrible! My fridge was under warranty and whirlpool assigned kunz repair to my service call. They came out and diagnosed the problem said they would return, but I never heard from them again and it’s been a month. I have called multiple times and left multiple messages as has whirlpool warranty department and nothing. Avoid at all cause. If the service/warranty department assigns them to your service call, ask for someone else.
The man who came to my house was competent and quick and polite. The communication on things was a bit poor especially in regards to a part coming in and getting back in touch with me, but they seemed very busy. Id definitely use again.
The technician never showed. Whirlpool made an appointment for me with Kunz with a window of 12pm to 4pm. I was told Kunz would call me the night before or morning of to set a specific time for maintenance. I received no call. At 3:30pm of the appointment window, I called Kunz and left a voicemail asking if they were coming. I then had to call Whirlpool back to have another company 30 minutes away scheduled to come out 5 days from now. From all the reviews I read, I guess I should say Im pretty happy they didnt come out. I would say this is pretty poor customer service, and I never even spoke to them.
Very rude employees, never show up for the scheduled appointment time and the older man that works there is so disrespectful. DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE!
Horrible experience, very rudeeee and racist at least the guy answering the phone...he made very rude comments and literally hung up on me. I had only asked when they could come to look at a wash machine a second time. Stay away from this place. Its sad how some places stay open this way.
The 72 year old man came to my house for Maytag Warranty work on a built in electric oven. He only checked the breaker, which I told him was turned off when unit was not working at all. He proceeded to tell question how I knew if the unit had power to it and that a digital meter was junk and that the only way to check 220 volts is with a incandescent light bulb. He then informed me that if he pulled the unit (which this old man could not possibly physically do) that he would have to charge and this was not under warranty coverage.Someone please tell me how the heck you can check the unit if you dont pull it when all of the circuitry is located in the back top of the oven!!!!Stay away from this place!!! This idiot would rather make money from sitting on his ass rather than actually do the work that he is there to do!!! And btw he did sit on his ass for an hour and did nothing.
Very rude, I would recommend going somewhere else.
The man is rude. It seems like he thinks vary highly of his self. and I will not go here because of him.
