Paid $26,000 for a new roof install (shingles, plywood, vents, etc.) Roof still leaks and after making multiple phone calls they just stopped returning my calls altogether and refuse to fix anything, per their guarantee. Water leaks into my house every time it rains, which can lead to mold and other deterioration issues. Additionally, they left trash scattered around me and my neighbors property, removed my internet service cable and didnt hang it back up, and welcomed themselves into my garage to use my extention cords since they came unprepared. Absolute hacks.

I recently had a roof inspection and to my delight only needed a few things to take care of the roof for roof preservation and the future. New roof vent, a solar fan to keep the attic from getting intensely hot. Flashing at the chimney for a roof leak.Communication was good, prompt appointments and no pressure. Would recommend a roof inspection to anyone by this company and go from there.

They also did an excellent job cleaning up after the job. We did have a a very small issue, but someone came out immediately and fixed that within minutes. Would recommend Erie to others.

I was really disappointed after reading good reviews. I wanted to set up a time for a roof repair estimate, the person that called was very pushy/sales focused, wouldnt even set up a time for the estimate with me because my husband wouldnt be home to see their product. I get wanting to show their product but feel that an estimate could be set up as long as someone is home.

All the employees that I dealt with were professional, listened to my questions and concerns. Answered promptly and cortiously. Worked finished on-time and cleaned up all the mess ad best as possible (even as it started to rain). Great experience.

My spouse and I recently had our roof done with Erie construction. Even with inclement weather throughout the week they made sure to install the roof in a timely matter. The new roof looks great and having the peace and mind of the warranty now is one less thing to work about as a homeowner.

They wouldnt give me an estimate because my spouse wasnt going to be home. I told them I own the house not her and he hung up on me. Not sure why two people need to be home for an estimate. Very unprofessional.

Although they didn’t install a new roof my situation financial situation has changed. Michael and August are really nice representatives that come to your home and talk to you, take pictures of your roof situation and walk you through the entire situation for especially new homebuyers I don’t know anything about roofs it was really educational to say the least. Although our financial situation changed they were still trying to be extremely accommodating and to work with our situation and to me that is extremely professional because they’ll do whatever they possibly can for your business within reason. They definitely have my business hopefully within the near future!

Needing a new roof we found Erie Construction online and contacted them. Michael and Marshall came out to our house and proceeded to check the roof and even went into the attic to check the underside of the roof. They took some pictures and showed us what they had found. Needless to say our roof was in very bad shape. Michael and Marshall explained everything Erie Construction could do to help. After an in-depth conversation, they explained the type of roofs they install and the process of how everything (even the shingles) are manufactured and assembled, we decided that Erie Construction was the best choice we could make for our new roof. After signing the contract, we were contacted two weeks later (a full week ahead of schedule) and were told they were ready to put the new roof on the following week. The installation crew showed up early and got right to work setting up the area for the roof install. They were quick and efficient and had the roof on in an amazing time. After completing the install they cleaned everything up and gave us a walk around to show us our new roof. It looks great! We are extremely happy with our decision and purchase of a fiberglass roof from Erie Construction. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Background: I love the longevity and look of traditional metal roofing, but my husband hates the look and noise of it. Enter Erie Roofing. After watching an ad on YouTube I decided to call and see what this “metal shingle” roof was all about.First encounter: The rep came out to our house, did a thorough inspection of our roof and attic/crawl spaces and showed us photographic proof of what we already knew. Our roof was indeed leaking, especially at the peak. What we didn’t know was that moisture was also seeping through 3 other spots and was starting to grow algae. So, it was time to start getting quotes and looking at roofing samples.Final decision: What sold us on Erie was that they manufacture their shingles so the warranty they proved is not only on their quality of their instillation but also on the product they install. In the end, we ended up deciding on fiberglass shingles instead of metal. I’ll be honest, this stuff isn’t cheap. But it’s an investment in what we plan to have as our forever home and I would 10/10 use them again.Installation: The men that actually installed the roof were great. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves and got the job done in what felt like record speed. From the initial meeting with Kane (salesman) to the finished product, everything went seamlessly. Job was completed in the heart of winter in one day. They even are coming back to do another cleanup run since there was snow on the ground when it was installed in case they missed anything. Very professional and well worth the investment. An appointment was made and kept on time, Their representative made a thorough inspection of the roof and took pictures to show us the wear and tear as well as tornado damage sustained several years ago. He never pressured us and explained, over the next couple of hours the process and the cost. We made the decision to go ahead. The roof and installation was good. The company who deals with the payment end of the deal are rude, crude, and obnoxious. I called and asked if I could hold off on payments due to corona virus and unemployment. I was told there is people paying their bills and the amount owed would go to collections if not paid. I tried to cancel when I found out I would not be working. I was told the product was ordered and I could not cancel that the financial people would help. Ha, Ha.

If youre looking for excellent communication leading up to and after installation as well I would steer clear.I received a call on May 30th that materials would be delivered that upcoming Wednesday and install would be Thursday or Friday. They asked where we wanted the dumpster and I said in front of the house. 630am rolls around on Wednesday and materials were delivered and then dumpster was backed in yo driveway shortly after. No biggie, the driver was super friendly and said driveway was probably the best spot because the city would probably have an issue with it being on the road.Thursday rolls around and it was rainy so I wasnt expecting anyone. We called later that day and were told it may need to be rescheduled for next week - understandable because its tough to manipulate weather.Friday around 645 I hear people outside and asked if they were there for the roof, they said yes and were amazingly kind and courteous. Install looks pretty good but we have concerns about one spot. We found some shards of splintered wood and one nail which isnt bad considering how much needed to be cleaned up initially.Monday morning rolls around and I called to see when dumpster would be picked up- they said they would call back.I didnt hear back so I gave them a call early afternoon and was told they make the pick up call a day or two after install.I mentioned that the communication has been lacking in general but especially considering the amount of money we were paying for their services. I let them know no one called to see how it went or if we had any concerns. I was told that once they get the paperwork back another department would call a day or two later.Dumpster was finally picked up Wednesday- a full week after it was delivered and a few business days after install finished. Its now a week and a half after install and we still havent gotten a call or visit to check in.Will update as time goes on, but as of now Im not thrilled about the service received after the job was sold.Shout out to Michael for an excellent, in depth presentation, and making us feel comfortable with the amount of money the project costed and the quality that Erie provides. I wish the process after the sales pitch would have stayed at that level of attention to detail.

Prior to getting information by TV ad about Erie, I had gotten 3 quotes in November 2016 from local installers for standard GS3 and Standing seam metal roofs. I had elected for company which had used for my church and was to sign contract in January 2017 for job to begin late April/ May and after several attempts to receive contract with no results, I saw ad on WTAE and inquired for a quote with Erie as product seemed better suited for looks than areas available roofing. I inquired March and after presentation and inspection of material- along with hard consideration as price was substantially more than previous quotes- I decided to make the long term investment with Erie. I was surprised as expectations were start date end of April but, long story short-was completed 4 weeks from initial contact, even with adverse weather conditions. and have been under roof 2.5 weeks as of this review 29 April, 2017. Total satisfaction. Have had several hard rains since install-one when only front of home covered and surprised that actually muffles the sound. Had a very noticeable volume of rain sounds on back of home-original singles-compared to front covered in metal shingles. I enjoy rain on roof noise but this provides gentle muted rain sounds, not the noisy tinny / deafening as sometimes experience in metal roofs of aforementioned design. Was an unexpected surprise. Have three other neighbors on my circle with these roofs and they are amazed with mine and the difference. Really finished look of home and others cannot believe is metal. Additional noticed with ceramic coat (not need snow bars as others) that the onset of birds marking spots where stopped are washed away easily during rain. Not a big thing but, has a nice appeal that allows more maintenance free care for me. Recommend highly if willing and can afford investment as this gives me peace of mind as I attain age that I will not be able or willing to do maintenance on my home. Also I believe from responses I have received that there will be higher potential resale of my home when time for me to leave it, but also, if not, my family can have peace of mind with the lifetime warranty- as well as the other purchaser(s) for 50 years from change of hands to a non family owner-, that the roof will be of little concern in maintaining this home.

First the inspection of my roof inside and out was photographed so they could show me the problem areas. I like that they showed me proof instead of just telling me what was going on. Second, they showed me the difference between the materials used by most roofing companies and compared it to theirs. It was so obvious that their materials were much better and would last much longer. Third, they explained their roofing process and the warranty. I was sold. There was no reason to bother taking to anyone one else. Then the work was done on time, with polite professionals. I’d give them 6 stars if I could. Great company!

After contacting them to take a look at our roof after some storm damage, their response time was extremely fast. They had someone on site checking things out in a matter of days (to meet our schedule, not theirs). After the inspection their representative sat down with us and gave the standard salesman pitch but got our business because he didnt try to pressure us into their most expensive option like most salesmen do. The install crew was early, finished the roof in 1 day, and returned the next morning to double check everything, and clean everything up. I would recommend Erie Construction to anyone looking to repair their roof.Our salesmen were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Installers showed up on time and the job was done in 1-1/2 days in freezing temperatures. And that included blowing off snow, knocking down icicles and ripping off two layers of shingles.I could only give 4 stars due to the lack of communication after the sales and financing were established. We would have been able to then reclarify that we were not in the need of a new roof right away and so much snow on the ground was not an ideal working environment. Some debris was leftover after clean up but Erie did offer to send a cleanup crew out. One back outdoor light was damaged, branches broken off a couple shrubs and I also found a few scratches and black handprints on my vinyl siding.All in all, the roof is beautiful and well worth the investment.

It is one thing when I booked an estimate over a week out and then the day of the person doesnt show. So I call in and ask where he is and I get an apology and scheduled for another week out. Then after the week, the night before I get a text saying they are canceling. When I call the reason is not having anyone in the area. Well if you dont want to go to my area fine, dont book my area or dont have an estimated that just wont go to jobs. But when people need a new roof time matters. Dont waste my time, I dont waste yours.

When the job was completed the trash and debris were put in dumpsters. There was nothing left on the ground to blow around. The staff was courteous and polite while they were at my property. I have had people stop me and comment on how nice the roof looks and who where the contractors. I would recommend this contractor for roofing to anyone. They also finance with reasonable rates and they work with their client to keep them in their budget for financing purposes.

Do not do business with this company. My experience with the company was horrible. I had my roof, soffits, and gutters replaced. Google review character limits prevent me from enumerating all of the issues with this company and project. I wish I could provide a more complete accounting of the issues. I am highly dissatisfied with several aspects of this project here is a summary: (1) What I was sold is not what the installers believed they were contracted to install. This put me in a bad spot in the middle where I had different expectations and no authority to get the installers to do as I expected, and in the end the job isn’t done and the installers left. (2) I was promised that once a job was started it would be worked until it was done (to help me believe the stress would be low) but in reality this 3day job took parts of 3 WEEKS during which the crew was scheduled out-of-state leaving my home in disrepair in their absence and a month later (past the finish date on the contract) it still isnt done (3) My driveway was damaged during the process, which means another project and additional cost on top of it all. (4) I was pressured into paying for the work done and acknowledging it was done, even though it is disappointing in appearance and not all of the parts of the contract are complete. I regret not asking them to leave my home at that point and escalating.|||After most of the roof was installed, and gutter runs were hung, the crew left the job incomplete and left for another previously scheduled job in NC. The install mgr (without seeing it) said the job was “Done”. These pics are considered “Done”. Areas of the roof had exposed decking edges; metal wrapping was incomplete; brand new gutters were marred, the wrong lengths, not spouted away from the house, some retained water instead of draining, and some downspouts were hanging loose from the house dangling from the gutter waving in the breeze, and more–this is “Done”, and those fixes are ‘touch ups’. I had to have a constant list of items for them to correct. The team littered my yard during the day, but did clean up before leaving. The team smoked/vaped on my property, left butts in the grass, and even at one point blew their exhaled smoke/vapor into my open window onto my children. They did not follow safety protocols. The install mgr said it was ok they fall off roofs all the time. (!!!). My neighbors come by to question me about what kind of company I hired that would do all these things. With enough hand-holding and prodding, the installers cheerfully addressed each functional issue with items on their list. I do not doubt it will function, but I am not happy with the result or the process, it does not look good to me, and it is not complete. The issue is largely with the coordination, scheduling, and comprehensive management of my project. The installers and sales staff bitingly contradicted one another leaving me feeling duped when I am told I bought product I did not need. The organization and continuity between departments is abysmal. The care for my property, happiness, and purchased product feels like next to none, but their care for their bottom line is clearly demonstrated as their only priority. I had the sales mgr back–he promised a fix but no call for over a week and no word yet on fixing my driveway–I had to escalate to corporate who registered my complaints and promised to serve as a documented line of accountability. Even if Erie actually finishes the job I paid for, and even if they fix the damage caused during their install, that does not change the overall regret and negativity of my experience with this company. Maybe things are going on behind the scenes, but nothing is being done to address my anxiety and communicate with me. I am sad that this has been so trying on me and my family, and that I am now dependent on these same people for any warranty repairs for the next 35 years. Please dont make the same mistake I did.

I have a difficult roof, steep pitches and a lot of square footage. I needed old tin removed and new deck put down on most of the roof, plus I have a section of rubber roof that needed done. Kane from Erie explained everything complete, answered all my question, and had a great attitude. Marshall and his guys that worked on my roof were upfront and honest with me. Answered any questions or concerns I had during the construction. Worried more about getting it done right the first time instead of getting it done fast. In my book quality over quantity first, and they nailed it, no pun intended.

We managed to get into the pilot program, and these guys were great. They went over board to find a way to make it affordable for us. The fiberglass roof was not the least expensive roof we looked at, but I am sure it was the best. The install team did a great job, and were very pleasant. The roof was on by 2 pm and they apologized for taking so long. We would strongly recommend Erie to anyone, and look forward to doing business with them again.

I was looking to get a new roof put on. I was contacted almost immediately After emailing for an inquiry on a quote. The rep was very knowledgeable and prompt. Answered all my questions and was able to get me a very good price. . They were able to help me with financing and with the work was done quickly. Excellent job cleaned up everything. . I was extremely satisfied with the work and price. They made it a very simple process. Great warranty too.

Okay overall, had problems with trash disposal and some of my gutters are hanging off the roof, I’m hoping the job done to the roof is actually done right, we’ll see with time.

I saw an advertisement on Facebook about Metal Roofs and knew I wanted to get one so contacted Erie. I set up an appointment and the day of they did not show up. They ended up calling and rescheduled midway through my appointment time a few days later. While I was waiting for my new appointment I saw another ad for them on facebook where they put the metal roof on without removing the shingles. I made a comment asking why and they blocked me from being able to comment on their Facebook page. Shady company and dont use. Not honest and wont answer any questions.

Michael and his crew needed to make adjustments to our roof repair due to a delay in insulation. A new amendment was sent to us and no additional charges were assessed to us since this was out of our control. Erie is a wonderful company and stands behind their work and products!!

Salesmen were awesome with their pitch up until our financing went through. After financing, it was almost impossible to get ahold of them to get any updates until I finally called their office. Scheduled through the office and guys came out Monday before Thanksgiving instead of the Friday after, that i wanted, so i could be home. Still couldnt get ahold of salesmen to make sure what was talked about being possibly left out of the contract (partly my fault for not double checking everything that was written in the work portion). Install guys were great. They handled everything Monday and came back to finish the Friday I wanted them there and took care of our concerns with everything. Got a code violation a couple days later saying they never got a permit for the work they did. Still waiting to make sure thats taken care of a week later. All in all, salesmen were great at selling us and installers were great at doing the work but everything in between was a bit of a nightmare.

Erie did a wonderful job on our roof installation. They cleaned up so well I hardly new they were there. The crew was very professional.

So they totally Nailed It for me !

Sales representative was honest and had a great personality. Product presentation was well done and informative. Was able to make a decision based on his presentation. The workers that installed the roof tiles were excellent, professional, fast and cleaned up after themselves nicely. Finance people were also great. The whole experience was outstanding.

They placed plywood on our drive way to ensure the dumpster caused no damage. Workman showed up next day, while tearing off the roof the showed us all the problems and explained how they were going to fix it. Workmen finished the job in two days both quickly and efficiently. They were very cleanly when they finished. Roof is beautiful and is holding up well so far.

Saw their program for the metal roofing system and for just under 10 squares (1000 sq feet), their PROMOTIONAL price was $10,000-15,000.00. That was without the porch roofs and me doing all the strip work. I used another roofing company to install A.B.Martin metal roofing and had my roof done, with the porches, for 6,000 dollars. I had that 6,000 quote when I called Erie and their sales rep literally laughed out loud before telling me Yeah. Thats not going to happen. It looks great and will last longer than whatever these guys are trying to push for with metal shingles.On top of all that, I made this same comment on their Facebook ad that perpetually appears on my newsfeed, so they got salty and deleted my comment and banned me from commenting. Most unprofessional outfit Ive ever had the displeasure of talking to.

They were on time, followed through on the plan that was set, were patient in explaining the work they were going to do and also changes they needed to make when unforeseen changes due to discoveries made when they removed the old roof. We had a rocky start with getting the salesman here. I had to call the day they were supposed to come to find out that he was stuck somewhere else and needed to reschedule. However, when he was able to meet, it was a very pleasant experience. He wasnt pushy and was very lax. I got a call a little over 2 weeks later to schedule the install. The materials were delivered on the scheduled date, however, it rained briefly that day so the installers came the next day. They put in a long day, and it ended up running into the next day...mostly due to spending twice the amount of time to remove the existing shingles because of how they were installed. The order was about 10 shingles short, so they had to return another day. The project took longer than I expected, but the installers kept me well informed and kept everything clean. I then received a follow-up call to make sure everything was completed as agreed upon. I honestly wasnt expecting that, so it was a plus! It was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend Erie to others.

We are very satisfied with our roof. It started with the Salesman that came to our home. He was very knowledgeable of all of their product and installations. There were three houses in our area getting new roofs by the competitors. He informed us on how Erie installs verses the other guys that cut corners different ways. We noticed that all three made cuts in some of the ways he mentioned. We had rain coming on the day of install. I received a call with a day change and arrival time (8:30am). The crew showed up exactly on time. The job foreman went over everything and they would be finished at 3:00pm and they hit the roof. The whole crew was very friendly and had answers for any questions. The shingles arrived and once again, the driver was very friendly and a excellent operator maneuvering around all the wires. The crew keep the work area clean during the installation and afterwards and when complete at the time they said to be finished. They requested a walk around for approval at the finished for approval. Great communication from the salesman, office and the work crew. We are a Happy Customer!

We had got a estimate for a new roof from Patrick Kelly. He came to our home in WV. He was very through in explaining everything professionally, as well as his inspection for the roof. He went all the way into attic for inspection and had a computer measured estimate within a hour just from pictures he took. It was pretty impressive. Prices was lil higher than expected for estimate but for the quality of materials they use l understand cuz they are levels above most out there.

Our experience with Erie was great. They were here when they said they would be and finished on time. Roof is great looks fabulous. I have recommended them to others already. From start to finish job was exactly as expected. Employees from salesman to roofers to office staff are well trained and knowledgeable on all aspects of this company.

Quality product worth the money.CUSTOMER SERVICE could be better when setting up the install date in the Harrisburg office.We had some issue getting the product ontime.Other than that it was a good install..The team that came out from Teflon Roofing outta Chambersburg area an did a good job very knowledgeable of the product from Erie Metal Roofs and took pride in their work..They came back 48hrs later when we discovered some bowing in the material that wasnt flush with roof line and made it right...So far 12 months later still satisfied with the product....

The sales personnel and roofing contractor willingly answered all our questions. Communication was great throughout the process. The roof looks wonderful. We were on vacation when the roof was installed and when we returned home the roof job was completed and they did a great job of cleanup. Neighbors have commented on how nice the roof looks.

I was so surprised when the men showed up a day early but that worked out real good as they needed the next day to finish. The men were so very nice and friendly and did a great job The roof looks so very nice and I would recommend Erie to other people for sure. Thanks Erie For A Job Well Done.

We signed the contract which was very straightforward and approximately 3 weeks later we had our new fiberglass mat shingles installed. The workers arrived before 8 AM and were cleaned up and leaving before 5 PM. The foreman answered my questions and explained what his team had done to complete the job. This company is very easy to work with and also provides a good financing option. I would definitely recommend Erie to anyone considering a new roof installation !!

Professional company quality workmanship the crew had the old roof removed and new one installed in under a day and a half cleaned up very well especially considering the dumpster didnt show up until after they had the old roof removed left the place cleaner than they found it would definitely recommend
