Took our sewing machine and to be repaired. I was expecting to leave the machine. The gentleman behind the counter was very courteous and very helpful took care of our problem while we waited and showed us what we were doing wrong. Awesome store great prices great people highly recommend

This is a great store. So much more selection than any other stores in terms of styles and brands. All price points. Extremely knowledgeable staff! I was so happy to find them when I needed a new vacuum. Bob answered every question I had and let me demo the floor model. No pressure at any point and he worked in my price range. Prices (at least on what I was shopping) were equal to or better than other retailers, including Amazon. Highly suggested!

I was able to get the belt and roller replaced on my Bissel for under $40. I was so glad that I stopped in.

Update!! Went here tonight with an issue with my embroidery machine (I think it was self-inflicted, oops!) Both of the men at the counter were so nice and helpful. Many sewing and embroidery machines to choose from, so so so many accessories and thread! The people that I interacted with were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! It was really nice finding a place where the staff knows every product through and through. I purchased a babylock embroidery machine from here, which I absolutely love! I recommend this store because of all the above and especially since it’s one of the few stores in the area that carries so many quality items. I love this store! They are knowledgeable, nice, courteous and not at all pushy. They help you find whats right for you and spend as much time as necessary to get everything done perfectly. I just bought a new sewing machine from them and have bought many accessories for my old machine, as well as having the old one serviced by them.

These guys are very helpful and knowledgeable. I went in last weekend with a broken vacuum and left 5 minutes later with it fixed-free of charge! It was a simple repair and the guy was happy to do it. For all I knew it was going to cost me a lot of money, but all he had to do was glue the hose. Ive had several repairs done here and will keep coming back. Thanks guys for the great reliable service!

I took my Singer sewing machine in today for jamming problems with the intention of needing to leave it there for a week or so. The gentleman at the counter fixed it immediately, right in front of me, and didnt charge me a dime. He wouldnt take a tip either. For several years now, Ive been buying my vacuums, all supplies, as well as buying and servicing my sewing machines and purchasing many sewing supplies here. I take sewing classes at this store, too.My favorite things about Discount Vac & Sewing are the knowledgeable, extremely helpful and trustworthy sales staff, plus their excellent and fairly-priced repair services.In fairness I will mention that the store itself, their website, and the owners approach to curriculae are rather unfortunately dated, and sewing supplies are not always competitively priced (but they will price-match, dont worry).However, I can assure you there is NOWHERE better for sales and service -- they really are tops, and Im a very satisfied customer of Discount Vac & Sewing.

This might be my 4th or 5th time getting a vacuum repaired here.(different vacuums) As usual, I get it home and it actually works better than it ever has. Repair was very reasonable, staff always friendly and helpful. There might be other vacuum repair shops around, but why would I ever think of changing?? Thanks you guys!!!!!!
