Horrible.I used to love dealing with this location. I take my car there as well as my parents. Normally things are great. Not this time. When I got my vehicle inspected I was told that they did not have the emissions stickers. I was told it was due to a check being lost. I had to do my own follow up after being hold they would call when the stickers came in. Well no call. Before that I was told that my only option would be to get my vehicle reinspected at another location and afterwords I would be reimbursed. Acting as if they are doing me a favor. I don’t have the time or energy to go mess around to find another place to get my inspection completed. Also I was told it wouldn’t be a problem not having the sticker. WELL IT IS. Once I finally found out the stickers were in, from calling, I stated I would be in to get my placed on. Upon arrival I was rudely dealt with and spoken to as if I were less then even when the ‘service’ man knew exactly what I was talking about. I was then told he couldn’t put it on for me because I didn’t have my registration card with it. Would have been nice to know that when I spoke with you on the phone. Not a happy person. I will never go back.

I actually stopped here just to have the tires on my sons stroller filled, but the gentleman that helped us was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable!

Definitely unsatisfied with my service from Firestone on 700 N Second St in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I ended up paying $474.00 for new spark plugs and a new tire....I let them run the diagnostics test since my check engine light is on; I needed spark plugs, they said. As I write this the following day from picking up my vehicle, my check engine light is still on after paying the amount I mentioned above. I have voicemails from this firestone specifically saying “your car is complete and ready to go” I get there and they tell me I have to go elsewhere they couldn’t fix the problem.... not only did they not fix my problem, I walk up to my car and my tire (the tire they fixed) is flat! I feel played! They should of advised me to go elsewhere from the start (not get some money out of me and then send me somewhere else)

This team is outstanding! Months ago, I was told by a team (not Firestone) that I would need two new tires. With COVID-19, I forgot. Recently while shopping for tires, I spoke to Doug. Doug ordered two Pirelli tires and gave me an appointment. He could not have been nicer! On the day of my appointment, Doug called to inform me that I DIDNT NEED TIRES. In fact, he indicated that my tires were nearly new! I cant say enough about the professionalism and integrity of this team. I will always go back to Firestone!

As soon as I entered the business, I was greeted by an employee (Morgan... I think he is the service manager) who was making sure coffee was readily available for all customers. He instantly took my information and processed another customer after me before passing the keys to 2 of the mechanics (Angel and Madison... Who were both immediately commenced working on the vehicles) and I was updated constantly as the team continued operations. Sometimes I would ask other mechanics questions and each time, they would be able to fully answer my questions and continue as a highly team-oriented professional business who truly cares about you and provides such great hospitality that you feel at home in an automotive business! Truly a very rare and unique characteristic to possess! I have already recommended Firestone and had no idea their tires were so much more affordable with great quality. I can’t say that I’m a fan of Firestone or Bridgestone; however, regardless of the name of the business... I’m a huge fan of this particular location due to the phenomenal professionalism and selfless care and service provide by this team!

This is one of the best fire Stones in the area. All the employees and especially the management are extremely extremely knowledgeable on what they do and care about their customers. Yes, sometimes parking can be a pain because the lot is small but, its well worth a little frustration to get what your vehicle needs done properly. A+++

Above and beyond! These guys DEFINITELY wigpasdingl not rip you off!.. My car was due for inspection. Id made the mistake of bringing my car to Meineke on Jonestown road, since it was across the way from me. Even after my telling them I just came from Firestone with an oil filter/oil change, and them letting me know my car will eventually need new front tires, as well as a battery charg; these men over at Meineke not only flat out lied, saying my tires are completely bald (when its clear theyre in passing condition), they also add shocks, struts and and a bill totalling over &1400 on one of their print outs, and a few other forms with multiple price tags, I simply took my car back to firestone, where they did a recheck of what Meineke claims needed done, all to reaffirm what was obvious; that nothing is wrong with my car and that my car passed its inspection all around. Firestone will go above and beyond to make sure theyll keep their customers!I highly recommend Firestone!

Got my car inspected by my regular mechanic, who told me I needed a front end alignment (he doesnt have the equipment for that). So I headed to this Firestone because its only a few blocks from my work. Wonderful service from Richard! When I picked my car up, he was kind enough to explain the alignment process, and why one of my wheels was unable to be adjusted. He even offered to take another look in a couple weeks to see if he could fix it after I drove it some. Price was reasonable compared to other repair shops. And as a female, its nice to get your car repaired without feeling taken advantage of! Highly recommend!!

Mechanic misdiagnosed my problem and had me pay for a $1600 part when I didn’t need to. The same codes were in the system. When I brought it back they told me it was a different problem which would cost $500. After I got that fixed the same problem was going on so I took it somewhere else and got it figured out. When I brought this up to the store manager he seemed apologetic and said he would refund what I hadn’t paid back yet, about $1100, but I got a letter two months later that I still owed it. This store is a scam. They will over price and keep doing the bare minimum to keep you coming back.

While the location is convenient, I have brought in my cars on 3 occasions for simple maintence a flat tire and 2 state inspections. They say it will be done by 5:00 and all 3 times, I come at 5:00 and the car is on the lift. If it can’t be done by 5:00 don’t promise it.

I saw the other reviews when I looked up the telephone number. My experiences here have been very good. Twice I have brought my car in for problems that they fixed at no charge. Repairs that have been made were reasonable and performed correctly. My family has come to trust this store for all of our automobile inspections, repairs, and maintenance.

I took my 2005 Nissan Murano into their shop about two weeks ago. I was having a problem with starting my vehicle. It wouldnt start and was having trouble jumping the vehicle. All along everyone said it probably needs a battery replaced and I thought the same thing so I told Firestone as well as my mother did that it probably needs to have the battery replaced. I get a phone call from service at Firestone stating that 2 sensors need to be replaced and a crank shaft needs replaced. This cost was going to cost about $900.00. They said it is not my battery and these other repairs need to be replaced. The service guy even said over the phone even if I get these repairs done it may not even start my car but these repairs need to be done first to see if there is any bigger problem with the vehicle. So your telling me I need to put $900 into the car and this may not even do anything! So I decided to not have any work done on the vehicle and had it towed up to the Nissan Dealership in Williamsport PA. The next day they had the vehicle done and guess what.....It only needed the battery replaced!!! My car was running perfect after a new battery was replaced. Oh...Also had to pay $69.00 to have them just look at the car and tell me what needs to be done but what needed to be was not the right answer!! So I paid them for nothing! I suggest you take your car somewhere else so you can save money and do not get ripped off!!

Firstly, they dont handle the car properly. My Key remote was in good operating mode before I gave them for my car alignment service. When they finished the service and gave me the keys, the remote wasnt working. When I asked them why they arent working, he said I need to change battery for my keys and that would cost around 96 dollars. Even though it was them who spoiled it, they were still asking for money and when I argued they said they cannot put it on them. These guys overcharge for the service and on top of that, cant handle your belongings carefully.

So this review is going to be updated as my situation with my VW is in mid progress... (so far my experience has been above and beyond amazing and heres why...)So Saturday around 1pm Im trying to help a friend out that is stuck in Harrisburg... I had never been downtown Harrisburg before since I just moved here a yr ago... And suddenly I had a complete catastrophic failure in my cars cooling system!! 😤😤😤😠... I immediately turned the block and killed the engine... I then suddenly noticed this Firestone shop RIGHT in front of me!! Sweet!However obviously being Saturday afternoon, no way to get parts from the VW dealership and its gunna have to wait until Monday...I quickly tried to get an uber or anything to give me a ride to my other ride in Mechanicsburg... I got put on hold, no responses... Lets just face it... Public transportation in PA SUCKS! LolBut heres the best POSITIVE PART! The manager Doug says hey Im going to lunch here at 2 and can give ya a lift to get ya where you need to go!I was COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY by the level of ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE!! Turns out he used to be an UBER driver too lol!! I gave him $40 for the gas and to by himself some lunch!Now just waiting on tomorrow to see what the damage is and how long it takes to get it up and running again!!To be continued....

I went there to fix my flat tire and eventually replaced it as suggested by the technician. The technician forgot to put the donut tire in my trunk and after replacing tire they did not even check the tire pressure, one of the tires was visibly low in pressure. Upon reporting the issue the technician didnt even put the tire in place and I had to do that on my own. Very unprofessional and poor service. This is the first time I visited them and will never visit again in my life.
