Update on my issue 10/5/2021My package was not delivered again to Atlanta. I shipped via next day air on Friday and now its Tuesday and the tracker now says it will be delivered on Wednesday. This is so frustrating since I cannot talk to an actual UPS representative. I never had a problem with shipping next day air until now. I have to now take 3 days off from work until I get my laptop back on Thursday - unless there will be another delay on its return trip back to me (after my company fixes the computer and sends back).I wish I can actually talk to a live person!!---------------------------------------------I had to ship my laptop overnight to my company office in Atlanta for repairs and when I dropped it off, they specifically told me that it will be delivered on Monday(since UPS doesnt ship on Sat/Sun). I called my contact in Atlanta on Monday and they said it was not delivered. I then checked the tracking info and it was to be delivered on Tuesday. Not sure why the woman at the counter would tell me incorrect information but now I have to take two days off of work until my computer is returned to me on Wednesday. Not very happy with the Harrisburg UPS customer center.

This is probably the nicest UPS pick up location ever! I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. The gentleman carried my heavy box to my car for me. He also gave me the appropriate numberFor an issue with the app. He also gave me future advice for picking up my wine. The big bonus was the young man open my door for me!. I cannot say more about him and the female that were working there today wonderful Service and people, very refreshing :-)
I love the workers, Ive known some of them for years and they are always nice.
I came in here to mail some tires and everyone was very helpful. They even helped me get the price down by combining them together. I will definitely use this location again.
UPS Harrisburg is a Black Hole. Paid for upgrade from UPS SurePost to UPS Ground via the MyChoice UPS app. They moved the package from the shipper all the way across the country to UPS Harrisburg which then posted a DELAY DUE TO OPERATING CONDITIONS. No weather.... blue skies and 58F today in south central PA. Called 800# for UPS customer support and they did the tap dance telling me different stories. The package was not moved to York, PA for delivery and the upgrade has resulted in 24hrs - 5 days delay for a 75 mile trip to my door step. Absolutely terrible management in the Harrisburg sort facility as this is not the first time.
They didnt tell me my package was there and it had a 2 day delivery. I didn’t get it for 2 1/2 weeks
Why ship packages delivered to york pa back to the hub on derry st harrisburg pa???????? Rather shop FedEx bad experience customer service is in the Philippines poor communication language and the ability to understand my questions would not let me answer survey

I agree with one of the other reviewers. UPS skips deliveries so they can finish early. Or in my case, I imagine that they were too lazy to drive up my steep driveway. I know for a fact that the truck was on the next street down from mine (UPS tracking map). There are LIVE fish in that package. It is over 90 degrees outside. They are going to boil in that package. I asked for my package to be held for me to pick up. The 800 number people said ok, someone will call you when its ready to be picked up. I NEVER got a phone call. I had to call back to the 800 number to find out where it was. OK. Now I need a phone number for this location. Guess what? Even the 800 number people couldnt find it. Im so angry. I still dont have my package. The fish better not be dead. I paid A LOT of money for them.
Simply put - the guys here GET IT DONE! I stopped by with a large computer that needed shipped, I had no idea how to do it, and the guys here helped me through the process. They were extremely polite, informative, and super helpful! I cant praise them enough! THANK YOU!
Every time I need to send a package I go to the Derry Street store. They are so friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond and I am so appreciative of all the staff.
It took several attempts to locate the whereabouts of my package via telephone. On line chat was a dead end. 800 number was great but you must have the tracking no. The staff at Customer Center on Derry St Hbg Pa. were wonderful. Fast & efficient. My package was there & I returned an Amazon product. Great team effort! 👍
Very nice lady working there the day I went. My complaint is that if you wont be home and need a larger package held for you so someone doesnt steal it off your porch, UPS makes me drive an hour (52 miles) from my home in York to this place in Harrisburg. There is a great UPS store 5 min away where they used to hold it. New policies. What an inconvenience !!!! If you run a business out of your home, you could be making this trip weekly. I prefer UPS, but this really sucks.
Theres a lot of miscommunication between the customer service reps and the people who actually work at the pickup access points. If you love being lied to about whether or not your package is actually here, this is the place for you!

I would give a negative star review if I could. I will tell every single person I come into contact with to not use USP ever again. UPS has failed to provide the service their entire company is based off of, delivery. Three times now I have had to go to the store to collect a package I ordered for delivery, even after I waited all day at home for the package to arrive. I paid additional money so that my package will arrive as soon as possible. I was given an estimated 3pm arrival time. At 4:50pm I called the support line to understand why my package had not arrived, and I told them I have been waiting at home so that I could sign if needed. The employee told me that the package was indeed going to be delivered today and that residential clients could receive packages up to 8pm. I continued to track my pack on their gps app that allows one to watch the UPS trucks location. All day it said it was in my area. Eventually it read almost there. I waited and watched out my window as the truck was close to the my house. While watching the trucks progress on my phone, I was soon updated with a message sorry we missed you! This message was saying that the driver attempted to deliver the package but I was not home. A bunch of lies and BS. The driver didnt even pull into my parking lot. I then spent the next 2 hours on the phone with multiple employees. The first employee told me not to worry that the package would still be delivered. I asked for a supervisor to be guaranteed. The supervisor told me that the package would not be delivered. She called the facility only to find out and tell me that the driver went home for the day. SO IF YOU USE UPS, BE PREPARED TO NOT GET YOUR PACKAGE BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEIR DRIVERS SKIP ORDERS JUST TO GET HOME EARLY. BE PREPARED TO NOT BE COMPENSATED FOR THE TIME YOU WAITED AND FOR THE EXTRA MONEY YOU PAID FOR DELIVERY. DO NOT USE UPS! USE FEDEX, AMAZON, OR WHATEVER. TRUST ME...THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS.

Awesome Job! While I find all three of the employees I see her on a regular basis very nice, Lamar is a star. EVERY time I pull up he meets me at my truck. I show up with about fifteen 50 pound packages at least once per week. While a normal person would not want to deal with all of this, he usually is on his way out before I get in to get a cart. I dont even think this is part of his job, but I can tell you that it leaves an awesome impression. He saves me a lot of time and work. Thanks man! If you are ever not happy at UPS Lamar, give me a call!

Out of all the UPS customer service employees I’ve spoken with in chat online and on the phone – he was the only one to attempt to resolve my issues and retrieve my package that had shipping failures internal to UPS. Was supposed to get my package on 12/17 and it didnt come. Now I was supposed to get my package again 12/18 and it is 8:49 pm and still no package

If I could, I would give them zero stars. Called and set it up to pick up two packages there because of course I’m not home when they try to deliver. Got there and was handed one package. Asked about the other one and they had no idea what was going on. Cone to find out they had damaged it and sent it back without letting me know before I drove there in traffic after work. Terrible customer service.

The lack of communication is very inconvenient. I tracked my package on Friday it said it was in transit from 9:09am. I still hadnt received my package by 5:30 so I gave the call center a call they told me that they deliver packages until 7:30 but go as late as 9. So I waited and they never showed. I called the call center back today and now I have to wait until Monday for my check to come because this location is closed on the weekends. This bothers me deeply because I have many things I needed to do and now its on pause because you guys arent doing your job.

My experience wasnt great i was waiting on package all day Friday March 25, 2016 and ups man never knock on my door at all. Went outside to throw garbage away and saw a sticker from ups. So i call see if they can resend it back because i need my package for Easter. And i wanted to know if i can pick ups that day Friday. So guy told me somebody will call me. Well i didnt get call they left a message saying i can pick it up Monday. I didnt agree on that!

Two days in a row the driver told me loader screw up the trucks still no package was intended for a three day transit my customer and are very displeased.

Went there twice, two different night they could not find my package but stated the would deliver it today but no show as I was home all day! Chaos... And the have no way to contact them accept through a service ...which you must have tracking number however I didnt know who or what was being sent so how would I have tracking! Never got my gift. Waste!
Google said it was open, and the customer service people on the phone said it was open. I went and saw a bunch of unhappy customers leaving because it was closed. Come on man, I get google not knowing, but how do the customer service hotline People not know if the location is open or not?
