When we first started our journey of adoption we looked at a lot of agencies, but only one stood out! Adoptions from the Heart. From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to be parents. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel comfortable! Ours was indeed a unique situation being picked in a week to become parents to our beautiful daughter. They were with us every step of the way, always there to answer questions, or just to listen to our panic attacks because we were chosen by a birth mother in her 8th month, which meant we had to wait till she gave birth to know for sure that she was planning on still placing her daughter. Since placing two years ago, AFTH has continued to support me through everything. All the ladies in the Lancaster office (not to mention the entire organization) are amazing and have always been there for me when I needed them. I never once felt pushed to the side, not even after the adoption was finalized. AFTH helps birth moms through every part of their journey. Stephanie, my case worker, really went above and beyond for me. I always feel comfortable and at home. I cant recommend them enough.

They took my son away from me. They fraudulently adopted him to a family. Told me I was not allowed to take him home. Never once told me why. I was healthy and had a home. Everything I needed. This agency is wrong.

We adopted our two children through AFTH. Our social workers were always available to talk with us when we had a concern or just needed to talk. Both times we were in the books for approximately six months. It can be nerve wracking waiting for a call, but when you receive it, and your social worker is just as excited as the adoptive parents are, it makes the process worth it! Jen and Stephanie walked us through the whole process of hospital procedures and sending updates to the birthfamilies. We cannot thank the birthfamilies who chose AFTH and the social workers at AFTH for helping us build our family. Our home has never experienced so much joy!
