John was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time getting a haircut by myself and I came in with kind of an idea, but also not really. He was super attentive, very funny, and absolutely an expert in his craft! Ive never loved a getting a haircut more - will definitely be coming back and will always highly suggest Capital Cuts!

I hate conversing with people sometimes. But not here. The conversations are hilarious and I always leave feeling good. Place is clean and owners are absolutely amazing. I hate getting haircuts but after coming here a few times I will never go anywhere else. Even if I move out of Harrisburg Ill still travel to Capital Cuts for my haircuts. Amazing job every time. 10/10

My hairdresser was great! He didnt cut my hair too short and did a wonderful job of styling!After returning to this salon with my daughter and paying a fortune to have her hair roots done blue I wouldnt recommend having color done here. Her roots ended up more on the green side and we were there for 5hrs.

Drove 3 hours, and let me tell you that I was NOT disappointed! ❤️❤️❤️ worth it!

John is a MIRACLE worker!I fried my own hair trying to color at home and came in looking for help to turn it some color other than orange.Only 2 hours or so later and I left with a beautiful red and hair that was noticably softer and less tangled. And the value was incredible, paid much less than most salons Ive been to.Thanks again!! 💕 Highly reccomend.

Had my hair cut here the other day and will definitely be going back again! This salon has been in business for something like 90 years.. but it was just recently purchased by a new owner. His name is John and hes very talented with the scissors. Very friendly, fantastic cut and a GREAT value! Oh, they also offer online scheduling which is super convenient. Thanks, John!

Ive been going to Nathan for a few years now, and I couldnt ask for a better stylist. Hes talented and up with the trends, and makes it a fun experience!

Nobody has cut my hair like John in 22 years of my life, he really listens. I even had the whole CBD procedure he offers and I am not kidding but my frizzy hair managed to be shiny after two washes.

Staff are profession and punctual. While I was there not one client had to wait for their stylist to finish up. The salon is very clean. Staff are very friendly and make small talk with you. They make you feel welcome.

My husband and I visited for the first time and the stylists and shop had a very friendly and fun atmosphere. Thank you! It was a pleasure. Oh, the haircuts were great too :)

My hair cut didnt come out bad, but the bangs were cut very uneven. The stylist was nice, he asked to use a blow dryer on my hair, which was nice, but did not do the same when he started using a straighter and curling my hair, which I didnt ask for.

Got an appt. the day before (i.e. shorter notice). From out of town on business, I needed a nice haircut without all the bells & expensive whistles! 17 bucks! I gave a nice tip in addition for a nice job. This smaller barbershop and a very accommodating & easier going Diane (the owner) right across from PA. State Capitol building on 3rd St., did my hair. Highly recommend. Skip the highly touted ones where you have to try on websites and months notice for appts.!
