Dude came out in a weird outfit to look at my broken refrigerator. Said he needed to order a part. This was mid-July. It is now October and he took my check for $100, never returns phone calls about this “part.” Feel free to either burn your money or call some place else.

Was able to schedule appointment quickly. Arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, repaired one item and ordered a part for another. Got a call 4 days later that part had arrived and he came and fixed it the next day. Price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company!

Would give them 0 stars if that was an option. Can hardly call them a business - will definitely take your money and run...just like they did to me. Paid initial fee when service technician came to my house last July to diagnose and fix my Viking dishwasher. Two additional service trips since then (wrong parts ordered each time). Rarely respond to my messages and when they do...they blame it on the manufacturer. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU ENJOY GETTING RIPPED OFF.

I had the most horrific experience. I would never recommend to anyone. My plumber of 17 years suggested this service. When he arrived I had a 48 inch commercial stove and two working ovens. One large oven was off 50 degrees. He was at my home to repair my dishwasher. I bought a part for $185 with labor for my dishwasher and it was the wrong part. He never looked underneath to see it was a pump I needed. He offered to fix my thermostat in my oven. I told him previous repair people said parts weren’t available anymore. He said “ I can fix it “. Now I have no working ovens and the dishwasher door isn’t even attached and the screws to it are in my cupboard. It has been a nightmare

They will take your money & run. I bought a overpriced used dryer that never worked right from the beginning sent someone out to fix it, was never fixed took over a week they came got the dryer claimed they replaced the heating element n brought it back.. stopped working again after few days and they refused the refund or replace saying the 30 day warranty was up.. DONT BUY FROM THEM

Ive had them out twice for dryer repairs. First time was under warranty. Second time was a different issue and no longer under warranty. Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have read other negative reviews, and not sure where they are coming from. Later than expected on appointments and having to order parts is all understandable. A part being more in a store than online is a no brainer. If you need a part on demand the same day and they stock it, you will pay more in a store. I have used several other appliance repair services at work (property management) and this service is the best Ive used thus far.

Lowes referred D&A for an issue with our leaky washing machine. I called and made an appointment with a very nice lady. She was very accommodating and was able to work with my schedule. The next day, I realized I completely forgot to ask about how their pricing works. You know, because Id like to be prepared for what kind of money Ill need to shell out. I spoke with a gentleman who was absolutely horrible. After he gave me the breakdown on their hourly rate and diagnostic fee, I reiterated to confirm I understood. Apparently I didnt understand, and his response was literally no disrespect lady, but you people dont know how to listen. I promptly told him to cancel my appointment and hung up. I can only imagine how poorly the rest of my experience could have went had I decided to go through with letting them into my home. I can find a better service elsewhere.

A service call was scheduled for a dishwasher (D&A is the provider through a service contract company). Prior to the agreed upon day, time, D&A called and had to delay the appointment due to more important service commitments. They did then come out, identified a part was needed, and said it would be ordered. For more than a month I called every week to find out when the part would be received (was told it woulld be 10 days). Finally I was told the part had been shipped and should be arriving soon. On my final call, I received an email from the service contract company telling me D&A had notified them the dishwasher was not repairable. I know the part was available because I found it on Amazon and other sources. After more than 6 weeks, finally bought a new appliance (not from D&A!)

Lowe’s sent this service to fix my washer and dryer under my Lowe’s warranty. Service man did not have shoe covers. He insisted a small fill tube was cracked on the washer and this was my problem, although several of my washer cycles don’t work. He made a super wet mess again. The dryer wasn’t heating and drying the clothing and he said it needed a timer, although one of the only cycles that works on the dryer is timed drying. When I called the company to voice my concern that these two parts would not fix my issue the manager said”so you are a technician now?” The parts take 5-7 days to arrive so another week without my washer and dryer. Not acceptable.I called Lowe’s and now they are sending another service on Monday. At your Service is the new one. I didn’t realize I wS buying a Lowe’s warranty. I wanted a whirlpool warranty. My mistake. Very sad.

Called looking for a part for an older GE oven. They couldnt find my model number in their system, but to be fair, neither did google. Did not get a single hit when i searched for my model number, i guess it is just that old.Anyway, took the bad part in, within a minute I was holding a new one in my hand. It wasnt an exact match, but after consulting his parts catalog, determined that it was the correct replacement part because they no longer make the older part.I was in and out, great service. Good hours too, was able to do this all after I got home from work.

Frustrating to deal with. My washer was on the fritz. I was 99% sure I knew what the problem was (the washer plate), but Im not familiar with repairing appliances so I called D&A. I scheduled an appointment for 11/9/18. The service technician was supposed to arrive between 8 am and 12 pm. At 12:15, I called the store and asked when the technician would arrive. After the office contacted the technician, I was told that his first two jobs of the day took longer than expected and this delayed all of his remaining appointments. I was told it would be at least an additional hour before he arrived. The technician finally arrived around 1:30 (1 1/2 hours late), and spent approximately 15 minutes looking at the washer. It turns out, the washer plate needed replaced. Of course, the part needed to be ordered so it would be another 3-5 days until the washer would be fixed.D&A called on 11/13, and told me they received the part. I scheduled an appointment for 11/14, and the service tech was supposed to arrive sometime between 11 am and 1 pm. My wife took off work this day to wait for the technician. Again, the time to arrive comes and goes and D&A doesnt call to let us know when the technician will arrive. Finally, at approximately 2:30 pm the technician arrives. Again, 1 1/2 hours late. At least D&A is consistent. The technician spent about 15 to 20 minutes replacing the washer plate. Afterwards, he hands my wife a bill which includes 1.25 hours of labor! My wife questioned why he charged 1.25 hours of labor when he was there for less than one hour combine over 2 days. He reduced the labor to 1 hour, stating that was the minimum charge. My advice, use another company. First, it would have been nice for the office to call us and tell us the technicians were running late on both days. I do not understand why this is so hard. Second, I really dont appreciate the fact that they attempted to charge 1.25 hours of labor, when they were here for less than an hour and made us wait a total of 3 hours past the appointment time.

The service here is absolutely terrible. After scheduling an appointment (42 days ago) to have our dishwasher looked at as it was not working, they failed to show up at all. I called and left a message and did receive a call back to reschedule the appointment for the following week. No explanation was given or any reason that they did not show. The following week when they showed up they advised that the dishwasher needed a new motor and that a part would need to be ordered. Two weeks later they came back to install the part. When the tech arrived he had the wrong part with him and had to go back to the office to pick up the correct part. To be fair this took only a few mins and he returned. The motor was installed, and the dishwasher was working again. We ran 3 or 4 loads through the dishwasher until we realized that all of the water was dumping into the floor and leaking underneath into our finished bathroom in the basement. The water was pouring through the ceiling, and down through the drywall. The drywall was soft and the paint was bubbled. We called D&A right back and they advised us that they would not be able to come back out until the following week and they doubted that it was the fault of the tech. When they came back out the tech stated that a piece of the dishwasher malfunctioned allowing the water to leak. Odd, considering that it was never leaking prior to their repair. But if you read the other reviews here, others had similar issues with D&A. He ordered another part and said they would be out to replace it and that they were unsure if they were responsible for the drywall and that the owner would need to contact us.On the date that they were to come replace the 2nd ordered part to repair the water leak my husband called to confirm the appointment, and they said that they had us down for the day after. We would never, ever have made an appointment for the day after due to our current work schedule. When I called them and demanded that they have someone come out on the original scheduled day the owner said not gonna happen He also said that they would take care of the dishwasher, and THEN review the damage to our bathroom and decide if repairs would be made as he stated it was not their fault, but the dishwasher malfunctioned.Needless to say, they are not going to be repairing the dishwasher, weve secured an appointment with a more reliable reputation. The damages to the bathroom, we will be subrogating against them via legal action . Its been 42 days and we still do not have a working appliance. A dishwasher of all things, should be a simple repair.

Called to see if they carried a replacement fuse for a dryer. He said he had it in stock and didnt know the price off the top of his head but that it was definitely under $10.00. Stopped by after work to pick it up and he said it would be $15.99. Its a fuse for a Kenmore dryer. Had priced them online with the prices ranging from $3 to$8. Guess he knew I needed it in a hurry, with a family of five couldnt have a dryer sitting for another day or two which is what it would take to order online. What a crook. If he takes advantage of something so small one can only wonder how much he rips off people on repair bills. Stay away from this bottom feeder.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!! Avoid this company like the plague. Gave them an oven to clean in August of 2018. Getting ahold of these people and the owner Don was a nightmare. I had to meet their service guy at a sketchy run down warehouse in the hood. Flash forward November 2018 and I call them back to schedule a time to pick up my cleaned oven. They had no clue and nothing on the books of them doing anything for me. The owner Don then says that the oven still is not cleaned and he fired his employee who handles the cleaning. He then says the door is damaged and has to order the part. January 2018 finally have them deliver it to my house bc they felt so bad. Dropped it in my garage and didnt bring it the house to put it in its place and test it. And heres the kicker, the owner still has grease all over it. Looks like it was wiped down at best a 4 year old couldve done a better job. AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Terrible customer service. Waited 3 1/2 weeks for a part for a Samsung washer. After the repair was made I was told if it still doesnt work call them because there is another part that should be installed. Sure enough the problem wasnt fixed. Spoke to the owner.....what an experience that was. It is a wonder they are still in business. Fortunately for me, Lowes will buy back my washer so I never have to deal with D&A Appliances again.

On July 24th, 2018, D&A was called to our house in Middletown to repair an oven light socket. Not only was the oven light socket not repaired, but when the tech was fixing the light, it shorted and blew the oven control board (a $100 part), also requiring an overlay ($32). We were left with a broken oven and an invoice for $260 to repair the oven. To be clear, the oven was working before, but after the tech left, the oven was not working due to the broken oven control board.

I was referred to D&A Appliance by Samsung when my Front Load Washer displayed an error code. I called on a Monday morning, after having no working washer over the weekend. I was scheduled an appointment for Wednesday p.m. Monday D&A called to say the dispatch had not come in from Samsung. Tuesday, I contacted Samsung and the dispatch was sent. Wednesday p.m., no serviceman came. I was not notified that the appointment had been cancelled. When I called, I was told it was my fault and the soonest they could come would be the following Monday. I called Sears and they sent someone within 18 hours. D&A will not get my business.

Very disorganized. After waiting for several weeks for a part to be installed, and waiting the entire morning for the technician to arrive, the technician arrives without the part. His work order apparently just said look at the washing machine, which had already been done a month ago! He then had to go back to bring the part.
