Scott, Keith, and the rest of the team at Service Master were so great to work with. Very professional, flexible, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!
Keith and the Service Master team were great to deal with. They were prompt and courteous, drying out our flooded first floor and basement in just a few days. The team went the extra yard, helping us box up and move salvaged items to our storage unit. At an extremely stressful time in our lives, Service Master of Greater Harrisburg and West Shore made the experience bearable. I couldnt be happier with the result. They are exceptional! I strongly recommendthem.
I recently had Service Master by Mellotts work on my home when we had a serious water issue occur in our kitchen. The Harrisburg team was out to my house the first thing next morning and had all remediation work underway within minutes. I really was impressed by quality of care they took to make sure everything was contained when they uprooted my floor and didnt have any damage to my home when going through an extensive remediation. I wouldnt hesitate to work with ServiceMaster for any emergency or restoration services. The manager i worked with was Keith, and he honestly cared about the quality of work and my family during this process. Very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Thank you for making this quick and seamless!
We were luckily assigned Servicemaster by our insurance company for water damage to our home. They were prompt, professional & provided a great service. The team that was sent out to our home was top notch professional and took care of all of our water damage issues. I would highly recommend Keith and his team. They took extra care and time to make sure the dust/clean up was contained and that they left our home safe until we are able to get the repairs needed done. Thank you Keith & Cameron!
We had a toilet leak. Didnt seem like a big deal, but it turns out the water flooded our drop ceiling below. I called my insurance carrier and luckily they pointed me to ServiceMaster. Keith came out and assessed the water, then his team cleaned it up. We luckily had spare ceiling tiles to put into the area that was ruined. He even helped us with those.Highly recommend, very prompt and to the point, gets things done.
I had a water situation at our home, ServiceMaster responded quickly and worked well with my insurance company
No stars, The reason is why? Due to them not resolving vulgur vandalism on their building. It has not been removed yet and it has been a month. We live in a family neighborhood. It would be nice not to have, My daughter or any other child see this everyday..This is my reason why!!!!
STOP!!! DONT DO IT!! they showed up on a Saturday.. removed baseboard, 1 foot of drywall from floor up, sprayed and then left 10 fans.. sunday they called to say they could not show up, Monday they came, and moved the fans, then Tuesday they came and took the fans and got a bill for... you ready?? $2,900.00 all these hidden fees!!!! This is my fault, I should have read the reviews and I get what I deserve.. Dont do it..
Marry in Haste, Repent at Leisure, or so the saying goes.On December 28, 2012, my husband Arnold Gee and I boughtthe home that was to be the fulfillment of our lifelongdream. On June 1, 2013, that home flooded fromthe top down, as a result of a ruptured toilet supply pipe.We called our insurance company and they told us to callServiceMaster Professional Cleaning of Chambersburg to do the dry-out.We did, and, not knowing any better, we also hired them to do the renovation/ repairwork (to the tune of our $24000 insurance settlement!), based onthe prompt and professional response of their dry-out team, and on thefact that they said they could begin working on the house right away, and would probably be done by September. Since it was mid-summer andall the other contractors in our area were pretty well bookedup, that sounded pretty good, and so we went ahead and hiredthem to do the job.Five months later, we fired them. Our home was still not finished - nearlyevery phase of the repair had been bungled: the recently installeddrywall needed to be cut open to repair wiring damaged by ServiceMaster professionals whilereinstalling the electrical receptacles, and to insert a beam in thekitchen that the drywallers forgot needed to be installed; our curtainsand cabinets, which were undamaged by the water, were badly damaged byServiceMaster personnel, and our kitchen was still a tent in the backyard and a BBQgrill. Now here it is Christmastime, here we sit in our ruined house, and wehave to come up with more money to pay a different contractor to repairthe things that ServiceMaster Professional Cleaning messed up, such aslevelling out the drywall around the windows and doors so that thewoodwork can be installed; $300 to an electrician to reinstall theoutlets that ServiceMasters team of professionals loused up bycutting the openings in the drywall too large, and still more to patchthe holes in the drywall left from ServiceMaster Professional Cleaningsbotched job; $172 to the furnace repairman to replace an electricalconnection between the furnace and the thermostat, shorted out whenServiceMasters demolition team tore the thermostat out of the wallalong with the panelling it sat on, without turning off the power supplyto the thermostat; money to a carpenter to actually install the supportbeam that ServiceMaster said they had installed, but didnt.... thelist goes on and on. Perhaps the biggest insult of all is the fact thatwe actually paid $637 of our insurance settlement money for a portajohnfor the ServiceMaster employees, who used it for all of five weeks, eventhough it sat here ON OUR DIME for six months, and all the while, wethought that SERVICEMASTER was paying for it!!!
Ozoning treatment total waste of money! We bought a house that had cigarette smoke smell. They came out agreed it was cigarette smell and took measurements of house. We wanted to save a pergo floor if they thought they could get smell out. They said they definitely could with a one day treatment and worse case two. The day of treatment they only have one machine when they talked about using up to four machines for treatment and there was no difference in smell. Day two one machine and no difference. I called to be told the cigarette smell that they agreed to must not be smoke smell or machine would have taken it out.Must be another smell under floor. So now we are out $280 dollars for nothing and should have just ripped the floor up.
Horrible work experience. Beware with favoritism. Cameron will get you fired if you have potential in the trade
