I purchased a slide in range, apparently they did not make sure it worked before they left. It never turned on. I called and asked if they should make sure it at least turns on before leaving, Christian (the guy I was speaking to) said “I don’t know I only sell…” (he had been pretty condescending the whole conversation) now I understand that he truly may not have known however, that was very unprofessional. Anyway frank, a manager came on the line and did not care to hear about what I had to say, but he did schedule me in for the next day. He told me first thing in the morning he’d get me in, the techs that were going to deliver said they were told before 12 but they’d be there a little late. Then they did not verify the address. They were at the wrong address. The tech came in and stated it was connected wrong did something and it still did not turn on. I just returned it. If it weren’t for the poor service I definitely would have just exchanged it. It was a very frustrating experience.

The store is always priced well and stocked with nice items. The checkout staff needs to seriously work on customer service. I did not get a welcome to Lowes because employees were busy having a personal conversation. As for the cashier she did not say hello or thanked me for shopping at Lowes. She seemed to roll her eyes when I stated that I am to receive a military discount, which she did not give it to me until I reminded her again. For being a national chain this is a shame that other local hardware stores have way better customer service. Even though they are a little higher they do make you feel welcome. Management please go over the customer service training with your employees.

Awesome Customer Service Many People Complain Everything Is To Expensive But The Reason So Many Items Are Expensive is Because its Better Quality but other than that I Prefer This Lowes Is Better than the one from Brownsville from my perspective and own Opinion. People Need get used to Higher Prices . If You want a Quality Job You will need to Pay a Little More For Better Quality.

Help is hard to get at this location. I waited around the tools department for 25 minutes while several store employees walked past me.When I asked for help each one said they would let the person that was in charge of that department know I needed help.After 25 minutes I was getting ready to walk out when an employee said the person with the key to the tool case was on his way.Was finely able to make my purchase.Really bad customer service!!

Been shopping at Lowes for years. Its a great store. As a veteran I really appreciate the discount and parking spots. However, I was looking for garden hose washers today and I couldnt find any. Either in the plumbing section or the garden section. Asked a employee and they directed me to the locations I had already looked at. Surely there had to be some somewhere so I asked another employee. He didnt know what a garden hose washer was. After explaining, he had no idea where they could be. Lowes should have these common items in both places of the store. The garden and plumbing section. Especially this time of year and always for that matter. Ill step off my box now. Good day.

Paint department. Perhaps newer employee and not used to helping with color concerns. However on second visit he was very helpful. Color that was prepared was very different when applied to small area. Offered a new color can, exchange 0 cost. Nice

Its probably one of my favorite big box stores it is a big Corporation but they do employee fairly friendly people its easy to find what you want usually and what I like most of all is that they give a 10% discount for being a veteran.I will actually go there and pay a little more and get the 10% discount Home Depot is only active duty military gets the discount I call BS on that. They dont have the cheapest prices but if you shop you can get decent deals and they do have Craftsman tools so theyre more Sears than Sears.I recommend it but Caveat Emptor thats Latin for let the buyer beware

We have used both this one and the one in Brownsville. Bought several appliances and had them installed on island and in Port Isabel. Always good service with polite service people. Usually able to get help with questions or concerns. Like other places going to self service checkout so not staffed there. Nice restrooms and a great garden center!!

It was not a good experience. Asked 4 employees for directions and after being sent in 3 different directions around the store I had to find what I was looking for myself. After that I ask for the Military discount and get sent from the register to the customer service desk just to be told they dont register. To go online. 45 minutes lost for nothing in all the runaround. I just left my items and got out. Not a good buying experience

Omg! I went to price stoves, asked questions and decided on one. It was delivered, it was missing parts, checked again to make sure we didnt miss the item we were looking for. Went back to Lowes to let them know, no the item is no where to be found. They check their inventory and other stoves to see if they have the package for Butane Gas but nope they dont. The young man who helped me from the beginning then says he will call company and at the end, Nope, company says I have to order the parts for the burners but they dont have the parts to the oven. So of course I tell the associate that what good is the stove if we are not going to be able to use the oven? They picked up the stove on Friday, June 4th at 8:20pm! Waited from 8:00-8:00pm, I called them to make sure it was going to be picked up!The next new one was suppose to be delivered on Tuesday, June 8th between 8-8pm, at 7 ish I called to make sure it was going to be delivered, I was told that I was scheduled for Thursday! Ugh! Apparently someone took off or moved my name from Delivery List and they (store) did not know who did it and why! No one called me so I spent 11hours waiting for delivery! I told them that I will talk to a manager about it and the to be delivered on Friday, June 11th, I have things to do. They delivered by 8:10ish in the morning. We havent connected it yet but all looks good. Weve been without a stove for 10 weeks! :)

Last night I visited and was actually impressed with the customer service rep that went above and beyond. But unfortunately I cant give the 5 stars he earned on this review as the usual experience here is waiting hours just to find the employees have no experience at all. One time in particular that sticks out to me was waiting on the kid who was put on the register where most of the lumber goes out. A kid that would be dealing with most of Lowes business customers, subcontractors extra. He was wearing a lot of gold as he sat and stared at his phone unaware I was sitting right in front of him. I figured maybe my 220 lbs of body weight clomping up to the register was hard to hear, or maybe because I am 65 tall he had a hard time seeing me. So I gave him a second before I entrusted his social media experience. The kid seemed annoyed as if he was being punished by working there. So he rang my items up and after completing my part of the payment process the screen said waiting on the clerk..... I was watching the young thug as he seemed to be zoned into the screen in front of him as you could expect from a 2 year old to gaze at a lollipop just out of reach. Finally he finished whatever was so important on Facebook. Then gauked around until he could see the bird flying around in the store which he attempted to make small talk about. But it is no surprise down in the southern Valley you will just be lucky if the employees even speak English even though in order to legally work here or permanently live here you do have to speak fluent English. Unless you have some type of disability under special circumstances and are iver 55 years if age. Anyway I video taped the incident as I have been with most of the bigger corporations that discriminate against everyone except there own race & family. As the majority of corporate reps who are supposed to take accountability for thier stores are not only aware of this but support, encourage and are responsible for these very same actions. For the many who are effected by this dont wast time combining to the store just contact the better business bural and file your complaint. Then wait for a response and request a rep from a different region to handle your case. Sooner or later those who are not Hispanic will be able to feel confident in their job search. Other organizations that can help depending on your situation are the FCC, FTC, Any Attorney Generals Office north of Gatesville or you can even contact the Governors office. But dont be lazy, thats the same mistake that provided the opportunity for these things to happen in the first place. Also dont be afraid to voice your opinion as it will take more than just one individual to create change. We are not doormats so stop letting others walk on you.

Horrible customer service from the customer service manager. There were 5 people in line, she helped 1 person then just left the only C.S.R. to help the rest of the customers out. She didnt even asked if there was anyone else she could help with.

Overall, Lowe’s is a good store. Good customer service and assistance when looking for items. One item though that I’m disappointed is with their roper washing machine. Uses too much water. If I’m washing just one(1) item, sometimes the tub fills to the top. I don’t know if other machines are the same. Wish I could manually turn the knob to visually see how much time is left for the cycle to end.

The customer service has gone down at this Harlingen location. No one says hello, how may I help you, is there something specific that youre looking for...its like the employees see you and IMMEDIATELY walk the other way..luckily I know where to go in this store but you would think the managers would bring this up in their morning meetings. Back in the day employees would acknowledge the customer but now, if they have a phone in their hand forget about it...youre better off doing the shopping yourself and a getting a warm welcome from the self-checkout register that says WELCOME!!!!

My first time shopping here, and needed help. Asked an employee for help, and he wasn’t sure what item I needed because that was not his department. He said he’d call someone to help. He did. I waited for about close to 10 minutes, and no one came. There were no other employees around to help or anything.

Use to love this store but service has gone way down. Associates see you needing help and seem to run the other way. No respect and pointing which way to go without actually showing you is unacceptable. We ended up leaving and went to another store. Very frustrating. We spent 30 minutes trying to find what we needed and NO one could or would help us find it. Bring back your older more experienced associates that knew what they were doing please. I’m tired of hearing “I don’t know”

We enjoy shopping at lowes. Never had a problem. The only thing that was a problem was the family/ handicap restroom. Why do team member have to use it when they dont have handicap or family with them ? Its inconvenient for the public. It was explained to me that it was available to team members and anyone else . oh well

Great selections to choose from. When you do get help, the staff takes care of you. Only problem was that it was a little difficult to find someone to help you. I had to look throughout the back half of the store to find a cart used for heavy, bulky merchandise.

This place is CLEAN. There is sometimes a line but that is because they sanitize the registers between transactions. Their site has the location of most anything in store down to which part of aisle it is. LOVE their paint selection

Was looking to buy a Bosch or Kitchenaid dishwasher. Walked over to the desk there were 3 employees there doing nothing and I asked one of them if he could help me and he rolled his eyes so hard I swear I could hear them snap. He finally did help me but according to him theres nothing in stock and the few things that are available wont ship for 5 to 7 weeks. So I went over to a local store Janos and Ill have my new dishwasher Tuesday.

This is the worst place for customers service. The only time i go to this place is when i am forced because Homedepot doesnt have what i might be looking for which is rare but it happens. All the employees walk by you and dont even look your way as not to be bothered because they have something more important to do like using there phones. Heaven forbid if you should ask them a question. They will look at you with bewilderment in their eyes.

Kevin, who is in training in the garden department, was not very helpful. We wanted a pallet of large pavers. We didnt like the ones on the lower level. He said to get the ones we wanted would mean getting a fork lift and to do that would mean getting a manager to unlock the gate to get the fork lift and it would all take a long time. Then, when we paid, he wasnt there to load our truck. We were almost done loading all the heavy pavers as he slowly approached us and said: Having fun? I said no and he then helped load the rest of our purchases. Not the type of service we have had at Lowes for years. He would benefit from additional training with people skills and customer service.

I went in to buy outdoor ceiling fans. I had questions about 2 simular models but the sales person was very short with me explaining only that the model I had was different than the lower price one which I already understood.
