This place is amazing! I never even parked my car! I had a brake light out, got there just as they were about to close to get the seal coating done on the entire parking lot. They took the time to get the light fixed charged me less than three dollars and had me on my way in less than five minutes. I couldn’t believe it. I really couldn’t believe it $2.91 and immediate service!!! I’ll be back again and again.

Kamphaus is very friendly, honest, and helpful. They provide plenty of diagnostic information before doing any repairs. I started using them because they were close to my home, and I have continued using them for years. They have done everything from changing my oil to rebuilding my manual clutch. I don’t really go anywhere else.

Long story short, I went to this shop many months back to get a proper inspection for a check engine for my c300 and they wanted to charge me $8k for a timing chain replacement when in fact, it was just the camshaft adjuster magnet and camshaft sensor that needed to be replaced. Im available to have a conversation with a manager if you reply back to this post and let me know why you wanted to charge me $8 grand for a simple fix. And you also gave me a printed pictute of supposedly what the chain looked like when its not aligned. And Id like to also know why, whoever I talked to on the phone that same day, insisted that the timing chain replacement was the only way to get my car 100% functional again and to get the check engine light finally off. And to assume that -- I quote, you really do read a lot about your car on google. Really, sir?Furthermore, in case you try to find this email and screen name in your system, you wont. In case you reply to this and say, we tried to look for your information in our system, so on and so forth...I assure you, you have my car information/phone number/name/address.

These folks are the best! They managed to diagnose a problem Ive been having with my hybrid for a year and a half. Two different dealerships looked at it five different times and claimed nothing was wrong with it. Im driving one of their free loaners right now while they are replacing my transmission. They even inspected the whole vehicle at no charge to make sure it was worth doing the expensive transmission repair, in case anything else expensive was starting to go wrong. If you have a hybrid, I highly recommend taking it to them... they are experts on hybrid repair and know them inside and out.

I was referred by Carnax for warranty work. They explained the problem and I decided to have them do some other services while it was in there. They gave me a free loaner since they had the car for several days. They took care of the problems and I will use them again.

You cannot afford to drive by this place..My time is more valuable than setting in a tire shop all day.I recently had a slow leak in one my tires this weekend. As weekends go, tire discounters were all too busy to help with a minimum 3hrs just to assess the issue. After going to 4 different places, I decided to give a independent retailer a try. PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS BEFORE YOU COME TO THIS PLACE! if i can give this company ZERO stars, i would. i am extremely shocked and furious. this company will CHEAT and try to get extra money from you. to the people reading this review, we are warning you, never go to this place. they will use very cheap and absolutely worthless car parts and sell them as if they are brand new. they kept on giving us a false diagnosis and repeatedly say we need a new “timing” but when we took our car to a chevy dealership, they said the timing in the car was perfectly fine but this company said otherwise. i think they are purposely giving a false diagnosis in order to cheat and get more money from us.our family owns a personal business and this company, specifically Mathew Bunda, is trying to bring our business down by writing a horrible review online, making it seem like my dad was at fault and spread false accusations but keep in mind WE are their customers and to even think about writing a review on OUR businesses website is very disrespectful. talking about personal issues that are unrelated to OUR business online is VERY immature and unprofessional of you Mathew Bunda. we will be telling our customers to NEVER go to this place unless they want to pay outrageous amounts of money to this company that uses cheap car parts from auto zone and raising their price in order to make more profit from it when you can get better deals from other places.there were many red flags while this company had our car and were “fixing” it. first off they say that they are fixing our car but really, our car was in the back of the shop not even being worked on! we don’t have the time to wait. mind you, they took 2 weeks to do a “check up” on our car so we had to rent cars for MONTHS while we were waiting for this place to completely finish working on our car (which never happened) which was an extra $1000, maybe even more.my dad brought in our car to do a diagnosis, not ONCE but TWICE! each diagnosis was around $125 and after that, they wanted to charge us an extra $200 for a “special diagnosis” because they NEEDED the money and ORDERED us to pay for them to move forward with working on our car. we talked to Mathew Bunda the general manager and he said that he was going to buy parts from a dealership and not auto zone and told my dad not to buy parts from auto zone because they are cheap. we were unaware, but come to find out that the code number on one of the parts Mathew bought was from auto zone meaning we were paying the price of a part that was suppose to come from a dealership which is more expensive, but getting a part from autozone, so they can make some extra money.after all of that, our car was STILL not working! they said that something was wrong with the timing on our car and kept on saying that. if you look at a review 5 years ago a different customer said THE EXACT SAME THING! we didn’t even get to drive our car because it wasn’t moving and our engine light turned on. there was still work that needed to be done that should have been detected when they were charging us for both of the diagnosis.after spending outrageous amounts of money into our car, my dad ordered a stop pay because this company wanted $800 MORE. we SHOULDNT have to pay the $800 for cheap worthless parts, taking too long to check our car, and having a false diagnosis making us spend money on things that didn’t need any work on! we decided not to move forward with our car because we don’t have the time and money for this. in total, plus renting cars we probably spent over $2500 because of Mathew, just to tell us our engine was the problem all along! also getting a new engine would be AN EXTRA $8000!there were so many other things that are wrong with this place and i was never going to write a review on this place but once i saw Mathew Bunda writing a review on our PERSONAL business about OUR car, nothing even related to upholstery or anything my dad stands for, it got me really upset. extremely unprofessional, RUDE, and do not recommend this place whatsoever.

After getting a very expensive ($100!!!) inspection and even more expensive quote from another repair shop, I was looking for a better option. Kamphaus came up on a google search and on a whim, I asked for an appointment. They offered affordable payment plan options that were easy to sign up for, and scheduled my car to come in the very next day. Matt and his staff were friendly and communicative the entire time, they addressed us by name and with a smile on their faces which made me feel right at home. And even with a full parking lot full of cars was able to inspect and repair my ford explorer in ONE day. They even found additional things that needed to urgently be addressed, and still came in UNDER what the other shop quoted me by $200!!! Everything about Kamphaus Auto Care is absolutely something to be impressed by. From their very thorough inspection, complete with text messaged report that outlines everything that needs to be completed and in what importance, to their extremely friendly and compassionate staff, to their amazing quality of work, Kamphaus is the only place I’ll ever be taking my cars to in order to be serviced ever again. They well and truly deserve all of their positive reviews. Don’t ever hesitate to contact them, they’ll treat you like family and give you the best quality of work for the price you deserve.

I was very happy with both the professional and personal service given to me by Matt at the counter and by Rich the owner. I do a lot of work on my own cars, but this emissions stuff is tricky, so thats why I go to Kamphaus and pay them for their expertise, confident they will get my vehicle fixed promptly and correctly. They are a top notch repair facility for all vehicle repair needs.

Was happy with my phone estimate for a wheel bearing. Once there it was confirmed that it was the wheel bearing. Left car to be serviced. Was supposed to be done on the same day but got a call instead at 5:07 from Rob saying that other parts had to be cut in order to fix wheel bearing. Robs words the parts had to be cut, cant put car together now. Its gonna be a lot more money than previously anticipated. There was no phone call to authorize cutting parts. So I then had to pay for CV Drive shaft and Axle Support Bearing! Spoke to the owner and he had no empathy to the way things were handled. To make things worse as soon as we got home the tire cover was no longer on my tire. Owner took no responsibility not even to try to keep a customer! For goodness sake it was the tire YOU Worked on. What a coincidence it fell off right. Lost a customer!

When I discovered my battery was dead this morning, I had a million thoughts about what could be wrong... and wondered how I would afford any of them! But when I arrived and Matt told me that it was simply a light that had been left on, I was relieved! I first went to Kamhaus Auto Care about 3 years ago when I had a flat tire. Since then, Ive gone to them for all of my oil changes & maintenance needs. Im continuously amazed by the professionalism & outstanding customer service provided by Rich & his staff. They have very flexible hours, are always able to schedule me at a convenient time, offer help with transportation (if needed), are very thorough in their inspections & recommendations, have very reasonable prices, and even offer a rewards program for their regular customers. I actually went to their shop based off my fathers recommendation. He said they gave him great service at a low cost. All I needed was an oil change on my beater van, but I got a full point inspection and report of all that was needed on the van. Now, I wouldnt fix any of it because it would cost more than the van is worth, but I was surprised that at 9PM the mechanic was friendly and more than willing to show me everything needed and the manager/owner willing to negotiate on prices for a fair deal. Terrible experience with these guys. They charged extra for unnecessary and unsolicited items. gave me different brand lower performing tires than the ones i already had. They had told me on the phone they were getting Firestone Destination LE but gave me Cooper CS3. (lower mileage and worse traction) The price looks like the gave me the more expensive ones though. They also charged for battery cleaning of my old battery when they were supposed to give me a new battery anyway. Double dipping at its finest. They kept the car for days longer than originally promised forcing me to have to pay for a rental for those extra days as well. They failed to ever communicate with me about timeframe changes. This was my first and last experience with these guys. They billed me $3600 and only offered a 100 discount on a bill that size and had no explanation for their actions other than it is what it is. Rude and unprofessional. Read your bills carefully and hopefully you understand what you are getting instead of what they are telling you.

I brought my car in here last week because my car didn’t pass emissions. I needed to have it pass emissions before I could get my vehicle registration updated. One of the greatest things about them is that they offer a free loner. It’s not a luxury car but honestly, who cares. My car was with them for about a week, so they saved me at least $300-$400 in rental car expenses. They constantly kept me updated on the status of the vehicle and repairs. They were very detailed in their explanation of what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix the car.Rob, the guy at the front desk who always answered the phone when I called, was always very helpful and detailed in explaining everything to me. He’s upbeat and very friendly on the phone, which definitely helps when you’re dropping a ton of cash on car repairs. Rob has great customer service!When the car was done, they called to let me know, but said I would have to drive the car for a few days before I could go to emissions. I explained that the car’s registration expired while it was in the shop and I was afraid of getting pulled over and getting a ticket when the registration wasn’t up to date.When I got to the shop to pick up the car, they notified me that they had their technician drive the car around for a while to try and get the sensors to trigger (or something like that) so the car could pass emissions, plus the technician took the car to the emissions place, got it to pass and brought it back. Saved me a trip. On top of that, they were able to get my car registered..which saved me ANOTHER trip.This is a solid shop with great people working there! They definitely have my business!

Rich and Sam are good guys to work with. Honest and flexible, not to mention the great hours. They have worked on my 97 turbocharged Mustang, 97 F-150, 2011 Infiniti, & the latest, my 200 F-250 V10. I have never been disappointed. Recently my manifolds were rusted and leaking bad with 5 bolts busted off. My dipstick was rusted out flush with the engine. They were able to fix all of that in a timely way along with a good, fair price. They are not the cheapest or most expensive but they do good honest work.

They helped me save a lot of money by doing the right diagnosis for my check engine light issue and fixing it all for around $280, whereas two different dealers had quoted me around $2k repairs with 2 different solutions (1 said i need a new computer, the other i need new catalytic converter, etc). They were able to diagnose the issue being only with the oxygen sensor that the fixed promptly. Very Happy with their service and knowledge.

I will ALWAYS bring my vehicles back to have Rich and the guys work on my cars!! They have done many things for me that Firestone, NTB, and Just Tires (just to name a few) COULDNT do. Car failed emission test and these guys were able to diagnose and fix the issue in 1 hour! And that is all they charged me for too. So refreshing to find a shop that will help you get back on the road at a great price. Thanks!! They also drove my son home when he left the car there for repairs.
