The last 6 months have been so hard on my family. First we struggled to find the source of our bites. After a local pest control treated our home telling us they treated the problem, we still had bites so we visited a dermatologist with a diagnosis of scabies, then the vet clinic with treatment for scabies and fleas for our dogs, followed by a doctor visit with false diagnosis and no avail. I was finally able to find 3 loan bed bugs in our home. We were again treated two other times by a local pest control. We self treated and ended up losing our bed, our bed frame and some of our wooden storage crates in our bedroom. We were at a loss. We called all surrounding heat treatment guys who wanted to sell us their services.Local heat treatment was too expensive for our budget. Midwest was actually my last call. Very professional, straight forward, honest, and affordable. They were available the same week. I have slept for two nights with no bites! Brandt was even able to find the source of our bedbugs and provided resources to help prevent further infestations. I am writing a review for my in-laws. They moved into a new home and after a few months my MIL started having welts on her neck and arms. At first they thought this was due to gnats or some other bug outside. These spots were very swollen and very itchy. During the Winter months she decided to see a dermatologist to see if it was something else. They gave her antibiotics and creams galore. I will mention that there were times she would go weeks without having a welt and she was hopeful the cream or treatment prescribed was working.She said the thought crossed her mind eventually that maybe there were bed bugs in the house when they moved in and she would check the mattress periodically. Finally....about a month ago she found what looked like black dirt which was the bed bug feces in the crack of her mattress. Upon deeper inspection she found a bug.Our first inclination was to call a bug guy. He came and verified the bug was indeed a bed bug. We cleared out the mattress and they immediately moved to a different bedroom etc...the bug guy was very friendly and knowledgable but gave a timeline of 12 months and him spraying several different times and them living out of one box apiece for several months. Anything that could not be sprayed had to be thrown away or stored for a YEAR!We were all completely overwhelmed. My in-laws are in their upper 70s and early 80s and one is going through chemo and dialysis. The days can already be challenging and this method was going to be near impossible for them to manage and manage with 100% accuracy that this method would not miss any bugs. We started researching options and came across Midwest Bed Bug Services. They have a great website and were prompt and professional. They came in within a few days and worked their magic in just a few HOURS!!!! There is really noway that this high level of heat being blown in the house could miss these bugs or their eggs. We felt the cost was very reasonable and that you cannot put a price on peace of mind!!They did the entire house and garage and car! Caleb was our HERO!He was so professional and answered all our questions. He also gave a clever answer to the nosy neighbor that a pipe broke and soaked all the flooring and he was there drying it all. The truck was very discreet. We were at our wits end with store bought stuff and got them because I allow a friend to stay a couple weeks 1 1/2 years later still having them super bad we burned every piece of furniture in house still had them 1 call to Midwest and he came and done his heat up whole house and after clean up we hadnt seen any since thank u so much and WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY
