Not a great experience with Hannibal Rental Property in the process of house. After calling, filling out an application and following up, we had told them several times that we had a cat. They said (as most properties do) it would require a deposit and small upcharge in rent, which was fine. However, after applying, waiting a week and hearing nothing, and finally calling back, we were curtly told no pets.Extremely unprofessional. If that had been their policy from the beginning and we knew that up front, we would not have wasted a week of waiting for them to call back. Consistency is all Im looking for in the rental search process.I would not recommend Hannibal Rental Property if you are looking for a straightforward, honest, and prompt rental service. Despite great properties, the headaches were unbearable.EDIT: While their website does say no pets, the gentleman on the phone said that an exception could be made. I think the tough part was that we had our hopes high, and there was no communication effort on the part of the property group. I just wish I could have seen the property for a viewing, or been able to talk about our situation. Or, if the cat thing was a no-go, they tell us up front instead of leading us on for a week!
