The workers need to get there act together return phone calls and do your job instead of rushing kids from there family

Its okay the service is decent, and I didnt have to wait long, but that is because I didnt have to see worker or anything I recommend doing everything online and then just going to drop off paperwork and pick up stuff. I was always called under 30 minutes if I did have to go inside. You can make most appointments on the phone, which was much faster.

Friendly and fast service. Jennifer from w2w went out of her way to help me, Im so thankful. Shes understanding and caring and professional. I was hungry she gave me from her own lunch and office lunch. all the workers I saw were friendly and welcoming.

I went to apply for services with IHSS to see if I talk to a worker to see if I qualify to get a provider to help me with my personal needs and run errands. I am still waiting on the social worker to make a home visit. I hope I get hours until my recovery. Lea was so attentive and listened to what my needs were. Thank you Lea your assistance. I gladly appreciate your time.

They were timely and efficient. IHSS side had the floor redone and it looked very nice.

This place doesnt usually take more than an hour. Which I highly appreciate. Ive been to these offices in other cities and they can take hours. Sometimes it is real busy and takes a while but everyone is very professional and helpful.

Fast friendly service. Not crowded. No kids running around. No line for metal detectors. Clean restrooms. Outdoor seating area w speakers to hear your number called.

Every government official business has its waiting time to process paper work. Too many people and not enough workers. So people get tired of waiting and they leave or they waited out. Ive seen Kings County Human Services in my time of need for many years. Now that I need their services again it was for IHSS so my visit was not that bad of a wait. However, I have a lot of patients to wait.

Place is bigger and looks nicer. Hopefully they continue and keep making it look nice I hope they get more help so you dont spend all day there. The time spent there has been cut down and the workers are kind and help. I havent dealt with any rude workers yet thats good. They do send out a lot of paper letters kills alot of trees helpfull they make changes there like the new computers they have now.

Very friendly staff. I felt like a human and not trash. Many people need help and Im grateful that the good people of Kings County were there for me. I dont think they get enough praise.

Was told they go back to 1976 on background check for emergency placement (my grandson) so they completely disregard the fact that for the last 13-16 years of not getting in Trouble with the law.... we were considered unfit for my grandson to be placed with us.

So disappointed!!! I’ve left a total of 4 message over the past few weeks- 3 of which were to both our daughters social workers and 1 to the officer of the day and we have YET to receive a call from ANYONE!! I’m not one to complain but this is beyond ridiculous!

They do there best & lately they have been quite nice compared to how the workers used to act towards people needing help.

The worse place they are not doing their job they just making easy money somebody gotta do something about no phone calls returns not even try to help when you in need of provider.

Workers are corrupted and careless. They pick sides and completely disregard children. Most of the workers do not have children and are willing to lie in court. They receive money for splitting families apart, not putting back together. If you truly care for a child which is getting abused or neglected, it would be more beneficial to put them out of their misery than call CPS.

Seating is horrid in the main lobby. I have only delt with a few employees, and they have been kind and considerate. Treat them well, and it will be returned professionally.

There is always a long wait time here. Place is usually always dirty. Some staff need to work on their customer service but some are really nice and helpful that dont stereotype you. They have several windows but seem to be running place like a DMV where u have to sign in per say get a ticket number and wait to be called to a window and sometimes even then u still have to wait to be helped by another person. Even to pick up paperwork you need a ticket number and wait... You can wait for ever to be called. So the vibe here is usually filled of tense and stressed out people including kids. I dont blame them. Most people really need the assistance so missing work to turn in or pick up paperwork can be hectic. You can use the app to do most of the things you need to avoid going in.

Not happy that U wait 4 a #. Then U get called up 2 window after 20 minutes, only 4 them 2 let the agency U want know that U need 2 see them. . . too many loopholes...

County workers are great considering the job for which they are employed to do! Wish I were there under different circumstances...

Make an appointment vs. walking in. The wait is ridiculously long. The place is under construction right now. I feel as if it unhealthy to breath the air in there.

I recieve healthcare from Human resources and just had my yearly appointment. They are now available online as well if people are applying for other services too.

Once I found it hard to find if you dont know the area am coming from San Bernardino Ca just decent moved over here a lot of remoldeling but go in there real fast got my books and question answered like in 10 mins

I think that dentist would be more fun to visit

Place has a walk in kiosk to scan photos for your worker. Awesome no waiting.

0ent here to return some stolen checks that were paid to us to our buisness. The people helped us and were kind.

If I could rate 0 I would. Ladies are beyond rude and never want to do their job left me on hold until they closed for over an hour specifically so they wouldnt have to talk to me. WORST PLACE EVER!!

Good people just prepare for couple of hours

The chairs are filthy and they dont EVER clean them! It smelled like urine when I first walked through the door and SOME of the supervisors when they walked out from behind the doors and windows were rude and didnt smile when you looked at them. This place needs some regulation and sanitation!!

The Kings County Human Services Agency is an organization which requires major improvement in process and flow. Be prepared to spend at least half a day in the building waiting for items to be resolved.

I called them to do a welfare check on 2 little girls and they never responded, I finally called the Sheriff.

They take care of all your welfare needs
