I just had my Initial Clean B completed by Team 7 and they were phenomenal! I dont think any one has ever spent as much time doing such a thorough cleaning job. I so appreciate the attention to detail that Team 7 gave and the great job they did.

We just had our initial clean B done by team 10, Cecil and Imana. They did such a thorough, excellent job! It was like coming home to a new house. We appreciate their attention to detail and the excellent job that they did.

Team 7 did a FANTASTIC cleaning job in my 26 year old home. I did not realize how clean my house could be until I saw the results of their hard work. I suspect that my furniture and floors were full of dirt and dust, and that my health was impacted by the filth. What a difference! Thank You, Team 7. I hope you return on my next cleaning date.

Team 3 (Angel and Katelyn) were very nice, professional and did an excellent job. My house was not in very good shape but they got it cleanedup. I hope they are able to return for my next scheduled cleaning.

Positive attitudes cheerful and enthusiastic about the work. A good team. Worked quickly while making us feel comfortable as they worked around us. While we talked to them a lot they never seemed distracted or slowed down.

I have Team 5, Betty and Tina, and I really like them. They do a good job of cleaning, and theyre always cheerful. A good attitude means a lot. I hope Im able to keep these 2 women as my cleaners.

First time with TCA, the other company we were using needs to take notice of how to clean a person home. The 2 young ladies that came today and preformed their tasks very well and were very timely with getting things done. True test inspection by my lovely bride, they passed with flying colors. Team two was awesome. Everything looked wonderful and they were super friendly and my dog loved them!

Replying since owners finally commented… that’s not what was said on the phone and because I complained that my detailed rooms on rotation were not done completely to the checklist I was terminated. You never gave me a chance at all and it was poorly handled.I had my initial clean and was not satisfied because the check list was not done 100%. My detailed rooms were not done completely. I asked to have the team I originally requested to complete my cleaning come back out and pay again to try again, and the response was we are terminating your agreement. All I wanted was what was said they would do on the checklist to actually be done. I wish they wouldn’t of just terminated my agreement and actually let me pay for team 11 to come out and continued with the team I originally requested and wanted. It’s sad and that’s poor customer service. Would not recommend.

I hired The Cleaning Authority to start cleaning a one bedroom apartment that I had just moved into. They team did a wonderful job. What a great feeling to have my apartment clean and ready to relax or entertain. I also hired them to clean a house that desperately needed deep cleaning and had not been cleaned well in quite some time. They did an amazing job! I am so happy to have found this company & would recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning company in Hampton Roads.

The team today was more thorough in detail cleaning. It was a three person team which I prefer. I have a 4,200 square foot home and a two person team is not enough to thoroughly clean this home in the time allotted. I am requesting a 3 person team going forward.

Team 7 - Rhonda and Shay were amazing! They were friendly and worked hard all day. Our house looks amazing after just one clean!

They clean house for my 94 year old grandma once a month and they do a great job, my grandma is very pleased.

Sydney, Tena, and Marina worked very quickly to make the house sparkle once again. The kitchen and bathroom have clean floors and spotless appliances. All of the other rooms now have vacuumed rugs and mopped wood around the edges of each room. I am pleased.

So we signed up for a bi-monthly clean. Yolanda came out to the house for an evaluation. We walked through the entire house. I loved their rotation system. I originally planned to do once a month, but I loved their rotation system, so I opted for every other week. It was explained that the first two cleans were a deep clean. This cost a little more and it is suppose to get the house to their standards of a start point.The first clean was good. They did not clean my closet vanity but after speaking to Yolanda we realized it was a misunderstanding, so no worries. I did notice cob webs behind the master bathtub but left that alone. She did offer to come out and clean the missed area but I wasnt going to make someone come out for something so small especially since they were coming back for another deep clean in two weeks.The second initial clean, was way worse.We keep our dogs in our mud room so this room gets a beating. When they are scheduled to clean, I have the dogs in our garage so they arent in the way. This room had dirt on the floor still and was very poorly cleaned. I was able to clean this room myself when I got home with a little soap and effort.My kitchen trash can was to the brim full. My kitchen table was extremely streaky like it was cleaned with a dirty rag. My big bay window was very steaky just like the table. I was told the window was not cleaned but someone attempted something. We had to re-clean both when we got home. There was still dirt on the floor which I mopped up myself when I got home.I had dust bunnies and dog hair next to my end tables in the living room.Water stains on the floor in my laundry room.My bedroom wasnt dusted AT ALL.My vanity was dirty as well. It was wiped off but very poorly. Again, I did it myself and cleaned the vanity with a little soap and effort. There was water marks on the tile behind my tub (which I was later told they werent able to clean because it was a hard to get to area). There were cob webs in the windows in the bathroom. I had actually noticed the cob webs the day before and purposely didnt clean them to see if they got done.So these initial cleans were $195. I had called Yolanda and we discussed over multiple calls my disappointment. I also provided pictures to her because I wanted her to understand. I requested a full refund or at least half. After reviewing the multiple pictures and videos I provided, her solution was a $30 refund. Its laughable really.So we cancelled our services because if a deeper clean is this poor of quality I cant imagine was the standard clean would be.When I pay someone for a service, regardless if I could do it myself, I want it done and done well. I very clearly told Yolanda when she came to the house that I didnt want a wipe down. I wanted a deeper clean. I wanted someone to do all the stuff I didnt want to do and dont have time for. She said it was not a problem. I didnt argue her price at all, that she formulated, after walking through the house. I dont mind AT ALL paying for a good job and good service. Much to my disappointment they fell very short. And then tried to pacify me with a $30 refund....thats a joke!!!!So if you want a general wipe down, then they will work for you. If you have three dogs, two kids, and want to come home to a THROUGHLY cleaned house...then this company is not for you. Guess I was asking too much to come home and not have to clean my house after it was professionally cleaned.

Team #4 - Tayla and Janae did an awesome job. Fast, but detail oriented and go the extra little bit to make sure everything is taken care of. They are the best.

After being disappointed with previous attempts at hiring housekeeping folks, I decided to give the Cleaning Authority a try. I have NOT been disappointed!!!I was not sure they would even travel to my somewhat remote location but they happily agreed to come for an estimate. Ms. Anna Lopez arrived promptly, listened to what I needed, walked through with purpose, asked questions, played with my pup and was overall friendly and accommodating!! She sold it!Ive now had my first 3 Initial cleanings and couldnt be happier!! They use pet-friendly products and had no problem with a dog and 2 cats. I can tell they actually move things around to clean, not just clean around them. They leave vacuum lines, which makes my OCD tendencies very happy! Their prices were very reasonable and payable via on-line site so no cash exchanges.Their service is personable. Team 18 Brittany, Ashanti and Kalisha leave sweet notes behind with the details of what they did and informed me that our pup is wonderful!! I look forward to a long relationship with them!If youre looking for friendly, accommodating, quality work at a great value, this should be your next call!!

I am extremely happy with the work the team does!!! They waste no time and put their noses to the grindstone. Id been looking for a cleaning company for quite awhile after our last lady decided not to clean homes any more. I interviewed 3 different companies and was most impressed with their presentation. The only thing I am frustrated with is the lack of communication in letting me know what time theyll be here. I was told Id receive a notice the morning of, however this last time I didnt. And there was no notice on the online app. I called a few times but received no answer. Then I got ahold of the lady who appologized for not informing me that morning. It made it hard to plan our day. Nevertheless, it was ok as I know things like this happen. Im sure theyll be more attentive to that issue in the future. The team was late but posted on my app when they would be here as their cleaning at prior homes took longer. Still, Im so glad I chose this company!!!! Even my husband said they did a good job and he NEVER notices that stuff!

My team, 8 (Heather and Katie) are spectacular. They are efficient, amiable, professional and polite. They do a great job, and make me feel like a friend rather than just a client. If there are special concerns, theyattend to them. (truthfully,there arent many because they do everything.)

They came to my house 4 times, and each time I had complaints. After the 4th time, when I was assured a supervisor would “check them out”, and the cleaning was still sub par, I asked them not to come back. I also asked for a refund, but they only offered to come fix their poor work. I passed. Save your money, go with a locally owned small business, not a franchise. Owner told me at sign up he’d personally address any issues, but I have not heard anything.

Even with my son running around like a typical toddler, they still managed to clean EVERYTHING and they were so understanding, professional, and so sweet to him :) Even while training a new member, ( I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name, she was awesome as well! ), they didn’t skip a beat or exceed their normal time frame!!! WE LOVE THEM!!!

I have been a long-time customer of the Newport News Cleaning Authority. I have no complaints about the quality/competency of the actual cleaning they do. The Cleaning Teams are generally well-trained, thorough and professional. However, customer communication by the Newport News office management is HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! They refuse to advise the Customer in advance of Cleaning Team arrival delays, cancellations or changes in Team scheduling. The Newport News Office never answers the phone; the Customer always has to leave a message. In addition, the Newport News Office never returns a Customers call until the following day. With todays technology, a Customer call can be forwarded to a cell phone for a timely response. I have had these issues over and over again with the Newport News management staff. But it never gets better. I have reported these issues to the National Call center for The Cleaning Authority. I have asked to speak with the Franchise Owner about these issues. No response to date. I must assume that this problem is systemic throughout THE CLEANING AUTHORITY organization.

Team 9 was amazing!!! Wanda and Betty were beyond professional and did complete quality work ! This is rotation 2 for me and it was amazing work from those ladies!!

The previous crew wasnt cleaning my house properly. I let management know and they sent Tyneshia and Ree the very next day to fix it. They did a great job and were so so wonderful to work with. I love those ladies!!UPDATE: the new crews are doing a good job. One thing I noticed is the carpet doesn’t look like it has been vacuumed. I think it is because they vacuum it before they clean the room so it gets trampled on.

TCA has made life much easier by coming home to a clean home biweekly. We have very busy demanding careers and our weekends off are cherished for family time instead of cleaning.

Team one did a great job. I wish I had been here to meet these ladies as they were not our usual team but they performed none the less. I cant say enough about how responsive this company is. I will continue to say in every review I write that I know what hard work it is they do but they appear to always work with pride and have dramatically improved the quality of my life now that I am not able to do regular home cleaning for myself any longer.

I appreciate the flexibility- some areas I want cleaned routinely but others only once I a while. Through the app, I can add a room and I already know what it will cost. On the rare occasion something is missed, they quickly take care of it. Professional and dependable!

Had them come about 7 times and then we found $230 worth of urban decay makeup missing. They are crooks. Dont hire

I worked for this business for 7 weeks. They are cleaning the customer houses with watered down cleaning products. They charge all that money just to have your towels folded and carpet vacuum and dusted. All the sprays are clear because it’s only water and Peroxide. The management are rude disrespectful don’t care about their employees especially the manager Yolanda. Or owner Ed. Ed got a loan for his employees and he is holding it from them and working them harder. Training for one thing and having them do other things that are maintenance and painters jobs. To all customers please find another cleaning company that use real products and don’t take advantage of their employees. Or email me at [email protected] to have your home cleaned for a cheaper price with real products.

The cleaning crews are always fabulous. They do a good job and leave my house smelling clean. I’m working from home now and they are always considerate and pleasant.

Ive had a few different teams clean my house and theyre all great. Team 13 has been doing it for a while and its always been perfect. in the rare cases there is ever an issue, the manager fixes it the same day and is very polite and professional. they even left a Christmas card signed by them last time. ive had CA for about 6 years now and its been awesome. highly recommend.

Team 15 cleaned my house. They were on time, wore masks and gloves and paid special attention to cleaning door handles, kids spaces, etc. I feel safe as they were staying distant from members in the household. I would use them again.

I used this company for about a year. Their dishonesty is what made me no longer use their services. They broke the covering to my microwave vent twice, and did not mention it to me. I found out when I went to open the microwave right after the cleaning and the cover fell out. The clips that hold the vent covering in place were broken off so the cleaners had tried to just place it back thinking I wouldn’t notice. The last straw was when I found a 3 inch piece of glass on my bedroom carpet from the wall sconce they had broken, which they did not tell me about.It became a safety issue for my two young children at that point. I never even received a call to apologize or remediate the situation.

Yesterday was the best service I have had in a long time. Please thank the crew. They were great!!!!

My daughters residence is cleaned biweekly by the Cleaning Authority. I am present during the cleanings. Latasha has been the team member who has been servicing my daughters house the longest (team 5). She is always friendly, thorough, and finishes within a reasonable period of time. She doesnt take offense if you point out an area that you would like cleaned more thoroughly and always lets me know when they are finished so that I can lock the front door. During the last cleaning on 9/22/20, Latasha was accompanied by Kevonna. I had never met this team member, but was also impressed by her friendliness and thoroughness.11/17/20 - My daughters house was cleaned again today by team 5. Latasha was joined by a new team member for us, Betty. They were timely, friendly, thorough, and efficient. Kudos to team 5!12/15/20 - Team 5 did a thorough job once again when cleaning my daughters house. LaTasha was joined by a new team member, also named Latasha. They both greeted me with a smile and both had a pleasant, ready to work demeanor. My daughters house was neat and clean when they completed their service.2/9/21 - Team 5 cleaned my daughters house today. LaTasha was joined by a new team member, Gili. Although we forgot that they were scheduled to clean today, they were very gracious as I hurriedly straightened up so that they could clean. As always, they did a good job cleaning my daughters house.2/23/21 - My daughters house was cleaned by team 6 today, an inspector and a team member. Although we missed Latasha from team 5, who had been my daughters regular team member for quite some time, team 6 did a very thorough job. They were friendly and informative.
