Ive always passed by this place on my way thru town and wondered about it. Tried them out today, honest, great service, reasonable prices, and a solid job changing the tires.I normally handle this on my own (so I know a thing or two about cars) but Ive been busy and the tires on the vehicle I just bought were in rough shape and noisy. So I dropped by, its got the old school setup with the office all the way in the back (lol). A lady greeted me at the front as she was coming back in from lunch and then I was greeted by the mechanic. They were both friendly.I dropped off the tires and came back some time later. The mechanic pointed out the fact that the tire I provided had a pinhole leak between the shoulder of the tire and the sidewall. I called up the place I ordered them from and they honored the guarantee.Ruiz Tire Shop doesnt just slap tires on wheels, they actually clean off the wheel corrosion and apply a sealant to the rim where the tire bead sits so they wont leak. Thats quality right there. Ive been burned by a couple other Hammond shops, so my weariness has been relieved. I definitely recommend these guys. Theyve got a pretty huge inventory too. Thanks!
