Best Jewelry StoreI wanted to update my engagement ring setting to better fit my wedding band guard, but I didn’t know what I wanted. George and Davis were so knowledgeable and provided me options and examples that exceeded my expectations. A selection was made and they contacted the manufacturer to get a drawing customized to match my wedding band guard, along with the cost. The drawing was everything that I wanted and the price was very affordable, especially since we are senior citizens and are on a fixed income. My wedding band guard was sent to the manufacturer to make sure that his design lined up with my guard and fit perfectly. The end result was more than I dreamed of. I have dealt with many different jewelry stores in my lifetime, but I have never received custom care like I did from George Ibert Jewelry & Gifts. I’m a customer for life! Thank you George and Davis for my beautiful ring.

I had a cracked ring from a resizing that a previous jeweler had done and this shop had a decent price, very good turnaround time frame, and carried a warranty for their work. The price was a little higher than I would have liked, but considering the quality of workmanship it was well worth what they charged. Its been six months and the ring hasnt had any issues. I would use their services again if I ever need it for one of my other rings.

My husband bought me a Pandora bracelet and all charms from this jewelry store. When it was stolen, he returned and bought the entire bracelet again. We have since purchased other Pandora bracelets for our mothers. I recently went in to have a sterling silver wedding set sized down that was custom made out of state. It was 6.25 and I needed it to be 5.5 due to weight loss. The lady tried to talk me out of getting it sized because the cold weather could be making the ring seem to large. I told her it had fallen down sink at work and was to big before cold weather was here. She looked up our account and said no problem. When she handed me the ticket it had due at pick-up $0.00. I thought this was due to the fact that my husband and I had looked into purchasing Christmas presents there a few day earlier with some one else who wrote everything down for us in computer. In fact he was the one who said to come back and get rings sized. When I went to pick up my rings the lady told me it was going to cost $96.00. Needless to say I was floored. My quote of $0.00 just went to $96.00. She said it was because it was rhodium plated and that costs more. I told her the rings were not rhodium plated and they sized down the rings, which meant taking and keeping silver. They did not add any to the rings. She just stood there. I paid her. We will not be returning for any future purchases. They do not honor their own quotes and then lie as to way.

Go elsewhere.....I just recently bought a Pandora ring from George Ibert Jewelry for my girlfriend and Is anniversary, last week actually. I bought a size 5.5, the smallest they had in stock. They said if it didnt fit her right, come back and theyll resize it no problem.So, ring is too big for her finger. Okay cool, well go get it resized no problem like they had told me. Before I drive back there and waste gas, I call to tell them Id like it to get a smaller size. The lady on the phone says its gonna take a couple of weeks for that. Oh, cool. I just bought it for my girlfriend to surprise and shes all excited to wear it and you tell me I have to wait WEEKS just for it to be resized?I said no. I get in my car and drive back over there. Funny, the guy tells me they can resize it and have it back to us by Friday (2 days later). I said fine. She tried on the 5 sample they had and it fit great. I go back today to pick it up, and drive back to school to give it back to my girlfriend and suddenly a 5 doesnt fit her now.....still too big. Funny how when she got sized for a 5 it fit great but now all of a sudden its still to big.I drive BACK over there again and bring her with me again. We tell them it is still too big. They seriously try to tell us that its a big ring that weighs a little more so its supposed to twist around her finger. Umm...NO. The ring should not just slide right off like that. So here we are, aggravated and frustrated having so many problems just to have this ring fit right.The young girl at the counter starts getting an attitude with us because were upset that we have to go through all of this trouble just for a damn ring to fit her finger. Just because were upset, does NOT mean you get to fire back. We are the customers. And after all the problems weve had getting this ring sized right, you better believe we are gonna be upset.She gave us a few options....either resize the ring again, get sized balls (whatever it is), or get a ring guard. After the young lady at the counter was rude enough to us, we decided to get the ring guard. They said well have it to you right after lunch, well give you a call. Well, 4:00 comes by and still no phone call back from them. So I decide to call them and ask if its ready, and the gentlemen says yes. Okay....thanks for NOT calling me like you said you would, I had to call YOU. Aggravating again.Heres the best part, I drive back over there AGAIN (I lost count at this point, Ive been there so many times) and walk inside. One of them says back again? YES, I AM BACK AGAIN. Because it couldnt get done right the other 2 times.The young lady hands me the ring and shows me the ring guard they put on it. It looks good. How funny is this? When she hands it to me, she looks over at the older gentleman and asks we charge $12 for ring guards right?Are you freaking kidding me.....? After everything Ive been through, all the wasted gas and time, after the rudeness and unreliability, youre gonna charge me for a damn $12 guard??? WOW. Im beyond pissed at this point. Poor customer service. Im a broke college student who paid a pretty penny for that ring. I couldnt believe she wanted to charge me for that. After all the trouble Ive been through!!! At least the gentleman stood up and said not to charge me because Ive been through so much trouble. So to the young lady who wanted to charge me for that just because my girlfriend and I came in upset about all the trouble, yeah, you dont treat customers like that. Thats absolutely terrible.So, if you need anything Pandora or just anything jewelry, I suggest you go elsewhere. They have poor customer service, the lady was rude, they are unreliable, and a waste of my time and money. Ill bring my business elsewhere. Im very willing to drive out of my way to Slidell or Baton Rouge for jewelry. Never again.

If you want repairs go elsewhere.i took my fiancees engagement ring in to be fitted and sized, as it was a bit too big at 6.the girl at the counter sized it at 5.5, and 4 days later we picked it up. it was still too big, but it was easter weekend so we took it home.we brought it back to be re-fitted/sized and we were told 5.25 would be perfect.i pick up up without inspecting it. my fiancee sees it and asks why it had a crack? they did not fully seal the ring in the back, and the front was real rough. the lady at the counter said im so sorry, but small details like this do get missed small details on a $3k ring? i dont think so.so its gone for the 3rd time. i was told to pick it up 2 days later in the morning. i show up at noon and am told itll be an hour, the engraving needs touched up. so at 450pm i come in to get it, and am told he is just now putting it in the machine.so there i am waiting for 20mins in a closed store. when i receive the ring the engraving looks like somebody with the shakes engraved it, and there are no spaces between the words, so now its just a string of squiggily letters all the way around the ring.
