Wonderful staff and very informative. Will not bring my fur girl anywhere else period

Took my Roxy there for the first time with a severe ear infection and swollen ear lobe. Wasnt able to go back and meet the Veterinarian which was a bit scary,but did receive phone call with her diagnosis and treatment plan. She seemed very concerned and explained the best course of action. We will go back in 2 weeks for followup.

Absolutely amazing veterinarian office. Everyone is incredibly kind and caring. We have three cats that we take for anything. Service is always wonderful with quick wait times and decent prices for visits and work ups. Never felt more safe and heard about our pets than this amazing place.They go above and beyond with care for our animals. Nothing but great things to say about everyone there!

Have been using this Vet Clinic for years, however am thinking of moving. My fur baby hates it there due to the muzzle. Yesterday, I specifically asked that her ears not be touched during her bath/grooming due to previous ear infections from her baths there. They notated the orders, and then became confused and did extra special cleaning of her ears. Then they charged me an additional $18 for the service that I specifically asked they NOT do. My poor baby is already walking around shaking her head and pawing at her right ear. Now Im left shaking my own head! Not a very happy Fur Mama!

One appointment with my pup and I knew I found some great people! The ladies I had worked great with my dog! Answered all my questions and concerns!!

ACC Hammond is the best veterinarian and boarding facility in the area. I loved the fact that my boys, (2 Jack Russels) were boarding in the same building as their vet. The staff is top notch, I would highly recommend ANIMAL CARE CENTER in Hammond.Can’t say enough…..GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Every visit I am greeted with a kind smile and a warm greeting. They provide excellent & quality care for both my dogs. You can tell that every staff member is there because they love animals. It makes me feel like my babies are in good hands.

This place is great and we lucked out because it is not too far from home. Recently moved here (August ) and needed a new veterinarian. Both of our female cats have received excellent care here. Now our big male scaredy cat is ready for a check up and trim.Rates are reasonable here also.

Trust them to guide me on my family, rescues, and fosters. Candace & Dr. Tamor keep me informed of whats going on or recommended while Im at work. Excellent communication.

I have come to the Animal Care Center for years. The staff has always been very informative and supportive. I had to euthanize my sweet little hedgehog because of liver failure. Everyone was so empathetic. Their exotics vet is knowledgable and understanding. The only person my little Stinker would let clip his nails. My two dogs love going to the office and were never fearful.

We are fairly New to Hammond and this was our 1st vet visit with our Sweet baby Scout. Me and my family want to Thank the ACC, Dr. Downing and Miss Brittney for being so Amazing with our baby boy. They were very thorough and explained EVERYTHING to us before it was done. I felt Scout was in Great hands. Scout was Very happy and is resting well. God Bless and Thank you! We will be back!!!

My cat was very sick and I called them and they let me bring him in immediately without an appointment. They worked him in between other patients. The vetinarian called me personally twice as she was running test to update me. She found out exactly what was wrong with my cat and was able to successfully treat him. I will only use Animal Care Center for my cats medicl needs from now on.

They was wonderful with my Drew hes a very active dog with a lot of energy. We will be back. Everyone was nice an professional.

This place has no class. I have never seen a business send a threatening letter in my life. I have not talk to these people with any aggression. Instead of writing a apology letter for the bad service they send a letter with this type of verbiage. The staff is rude. Please dont take your business there. YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!

Took good care of our sweet pup!

Extremely rude to myself and my 18 year old daughter in several occasions. One girl at the front was so rude to my daughter whom has Aspbergers syndrome, my daughter didn’t talk for a couple of days and remained isolated. If you will treat a human like that I wonder how the animals are treated? Secondly, I paid $2700 to have surgery for my feline. Not once did I receive follow up call! I scheduled an appointment, went in and the rude girl at the front said that I did not have an appointment, and I clearly did!! Sad!!

The staff at Animal Care Center were all friendly and compassionate. They accommodated my needs for several pets. I fully recommend them!

I love love love Animal Care Center in Hammond. I have 2 rescue dogs that they have been helping me take care of since day 1! I feel confident in leaving my dogs with them if I have to, the staff is so friendly and treat your pet as one of their own. I want to give a shout out to Ms. Denise at the front desk! I ask a lot of questions and she is always so patient with me and makes sure that I understand everything before I leave!

Great and caring staff

We have been bringing our dogs to ACC and PCC for over 4 years now. The staff knows our dogs names! Our dogs wag their tails when we take them in and are wagging their tails when we pick them up! Staff is friendly, kind and empathetic. Boarding and grooming services are excellent, as well. Great veterinary clinic!

The staff is very kind and patient. They have treated and boarded my GSD for the last 2 years and we have not had any issues. There current groomer is also amazing. She has done an outstanding job.

We use Animal Care Center for our vet, boarding and grooming needs for our dog and cat. They have always provided us with great service and they have always been very friendly to us. I highly recommend them for your animal needs.

Very nice but very expensive.

The vets are extremely knowledgeable about cats. My cat (dumdum) had caught a cold and they were able to zero in to the fact that it was a virus. After a couple of weeks on medication my baby of 17 years old is still alive and bringing me joy. I have four geriatric pets and they handle everyone of them with care and gentleness. I love this vet!!!!💕

The attendants, doctors, and staff at Animal Care Center are great! Ive been going there with my pets for almost 8 years. They have taken care of both my cats and dog.

The staff here are so friendly and compassionate! We have a senior pet and recently adopted a young rescue, and they take excellent care of both. They’re always attentive, willing to help and treat our pets like they’re their own. I’d highly recommend them as a veterinary practice!

I’ve called on multiple occasions and get put on hold for 10-20 minutes and then get hung up on. Guess they don’t need my money that bad after all 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have been using Animal Care & Pet Care Center for the last 4+ years, and I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else! We mainly see Dr. Sutherland (whom I LOVE...my dogs do too), but have also seen Dr. Wheat, Dr.Bubrig, and Dr. Downing. All of the vets here are so thorough, compassionate, caring, and provide excellent care!!!! The other staff is also super friendly and awesome! We’ve come here for yearly check ups, vaccines, surgery, boarding, baths, etc! Dr. Sutherland has become a friend to me through the years! She genuinely cares about my animals! I would never go anywhere else!

I bought my 7 week german Shepard and they loved on her and took good care of her and no problem with boarding her overnight!!... They were not too expensive

I have been bringing my dog here since I got her as a puppy. Gracie is 8 years old now. Each year, I bring her in for her shots and also maybe any other issues she may be having.There have been knee issues, a close call with a small amount of chocolate, ear infections and various other small things. It has never mattered whether I had an appointment or not, they have always fit me in as soon as possible to help make my baby feel better.I have used them for baths, grooming, nail clipping, teeth cleaning...all kinds of stuff with no major issues.I have boarded her there a couple times as well. They may not be as flexible on hours as some other places but at least I have peace of mind in knowing that shes being taken care of properly while Im away.I would recommend Animal and Pet Care Center to anyone. Its clear that the staff care about animals and desire their safety and well-being.Recently adopted another dog from a shelter and this will be her new vet as well. :)

The staff was very friendly from the front desk to the doctor and assistant. There main focus is taking care of your pet. Dr. Mary Beth Tamor was great with our dog. She took the time to let our dog smell her and trust her. She took her time with him and thoroughly check all his issues and answered all my questions. The front desk was just as considerate, they knew you didnt want to spend all day there and did there best to get you in and out without making you feel like they were rushing you. They answered all you questions and gave our pet some attention as well. Love this veterinary office. I definitely recommend them to take care of your pet. Because our pets are like our family and deserves the best.

Ive been using Animal Care Center for as long as I remember! The staff is always friendly and genuinely care about me and my pets. About a year ago, I started utilizing their mobile vet services, since my elderly English Mastiff can no longer climb in and out the car, and it has been a godsend! Dr. Sutherland goes out of her way to make sure I understand what to except and everything happening along the way. I feel like I have a trusted friend taking care of my old girl!

Animal Care Center is great. And I have no favorite doctor as they are all equally competent and caring. They do have some doctors with specialties, and the desk staff is very good at directing your visit towards those doctors if needed. The support staff is also very knowledgeable, polite, and caring. Lastly, the charges for services and products are very reasonable and in quite a few instances, very competitive.

We have been satisfied patrons for many years. Last summer we moved out of LA 6 hours away to Texas. Last April my service dog tore his ACL on his left knee. (Please excuse the coming butchering of surnames names) Dr Ganacheux was his primary vet, who is an amazing and caring veterinarian and Dr Bubrig did the very technical and competent repair. Recovery and rehab were supported with laser therapy twice a week and Odin made a full recovery. We knew one day that his other knee would go, and it did. Once I had confirmed that his ACL was torn by our local new vet, I called Animal care Center and spoke with Dr Ganacheaux. Their service, caring staff and knowledgeable vets make this place a one stop shop. Rather than having to find a local vet who could do the surgery locally we chose to drive back to the Animal Care Center where we knew he would get the best care possible.

I have just recently moved to the Hammond area. Had two different types of needs, and they were awesome with both. One was just a regular vet item. One was putting our 19 year old cat down. They were very nice and understanding throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them!

I have 2 rescue dogs. One is 15 and nearly blind. He also has some medical issues. The vets and staff are very caring and gentle with my dogs. My other was abused and very skittish around everyone. The staff and vets take their time so that she can get more comfortable with them.I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I just love this vet clinic! I have taken all of my cats there, and they are always caring, compassionate, professional, and do not try to sell you procedures you do not need or want. Their prices are also very reasonable. I will continue taking my furry babies there for sure!

Weve been a client for five years. This year, we were fortunate to have our newest pup, an Irish Wolfhound, join our family. What impressed us was the fact that Dr. Brewer had experience treating hounds like ours. Even more so is her personal approach. We appreciate the entire staff at both locations.

I have taken my dogs to Animal Care Center for the past 8 years and heartily recommend ACC to any pet guardian who wishes to receive the best medical care for their animals given by a thoroughly professional and caring staff. My dogs have been given annual physicals, all required vaccinations, dental work, surgeries, required medications, excellent kennel care, and appropriate referrals to specialists in the area when needed. Dr. Wheat and his staff of Veterinarians, technical specialists, and administrative specialists are always eager to make our visits as comfortable and complete as possible. I appreciate their personal concern and always going the extra mile to ensure my animals are as healthy, comfortable, and happy as possible.

The vet held dumdum special like I do. Dumdum was very calm in her arms. She is a shy cat and this was normal behavior for her when held properly.

They did a great job with my pups. I was worried because they are very nervous. I was surprised to get a phone call letting me know how they were doing. I highly recommend boarding here.

Dr. Brewer is my favorite doctor. She treats you like family and she cares about her patients.... I only used one other doctor there and she was nice. I hate to see Dr. Brewer go, u will be missed by my whole family... After 15 years of owning one of the most treasured parts of my life, my first child in a sense, it was here where my best pet took his last breath. Pinky. Not only did they treat me and his new owner Donna with dignity, the also treated him kindly as it was his last day of suffering. About a week later they even sent a condolences letter to Donna which she showed to me. Who does that??? A top notch Animal Care Center. It was so heart warming and amazing. Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. It was truly heartfelt.

Ive been using Pet Care Center and Animal Care Center for almost two years. They have been so helpful and loving to my animals and saw me through the loss of one of my kitties, Tigger. They are readily available and have on-call vets if needed (not always the case with other vets I first tried!). They are especially patient with worry wart pet mommies like me. Vets are knowledgeable and professional, as are the staff.

Dr. Downing and the staff at Animal Care Center and Pet Care Center basically saved our rescue Gracies life. When we got her she had Demodectic Mange and heart worms along with some skin issues and food allergies. She is such a sweet girl it broke my heart to see her suffering. I was so relieved when Dr Downing started caring for her and saw the change in Gracie as she got better. I am happy to report that thanks to everyone at Animal Care and Pet Care Center she is heart worm free and the mange is 100% in check. She looks like a completely different dog and is a joy in our lives that cannot compare. I am so glad we found you all when we did.

Animal Care Center and wonderful doctors and staff have definitely saved 2 of my dogs lives within the past 2 years. My poodle Chancey just made 15 years old and is doing great. Because of Dr. Downing thoroughness a tumor was discovered on his spleen and Dr. wheat removed it and it ruptured during surgery. if it wasnt found it would have ruptured causing his death. he gets fluid therapy every week. Leroy, a lab mix I rescued 14 months ago had a terrible case of heartworms and wouldnt be alive today if it wasnt for the great doctors and staff. He had a terrible episode after his first treatment and was coughing up blood so bad I didnt think he would make it to the vet. Thank God he did and they saved his life and he is heartworm free and doing great. Hes such a big boy Dr. Downing justs gets down on the floor with him for his checkups. I highly recommend Animal and Pet Care Center to everyone. I wouldnt take my precious babies anywhere else!

I used to go go Dodge City in Denham Springs, but after the last experience with some newer young male doctors crappy attitude and him acting like he didnt believe what I told him about my dog, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I started going to Animal Care Center because I needed a vet to look at a newly acquired bird. The veterinarian there was excellent, had a warm and friendly personality, excellent bedside manner, even to my little Green Cheek Conure. Their prices were not outrageous at all. Very reasonable. I now take both dogs and my bird regularly.

My boy Dodge is a 10yr old CoonHound & is my life, Well he got tangled up with my Jeep & got some nasty gashes & skinned up pretty bad, So I called these folks frantic on a Saturday night after hours & within minutes Dr Sutherland called me back & met there with her assistant in no time... They stitched my boy up, kept him overnight... And I picked him up the next morning after... I love these folks, you cant find a more caring professionals anywhere... Thank Yall so much...

My wife and I have been using Animal Care Center for our dogs for several years. The staff has such a special way of making our little ones feel relaxed and loved. The staff always give the ultimate care with our babies and we know that our four legged children will always be taken care the way we want them to be taken care of. DO NOT take your pet here for grooming! The morning after our pet was groomed, she barely could move. She has been tender to the touch for 5 days now and we discovered cuts/nicks all over her body. When we attempted to find out what happened from the staff... they were VERY defensive and immediately denied any wrong doing... pathetic! We had to take her to another vet and she is currently on anti-flammatory meds and probably will need x-rays. And Im sure a few of those positive anonymous reviews on their web are from the staff.

This rating is for grooming. When we brought our Shih Tzu in for grooming we met with the groomer and discussed exactly how we wanted her to look ; not too much off, still fluffy. The groomer seemed a little tense and said that she would not scissor cut her but we had no idea that meant the groomer had no intention of doing anything we asked. When we our dog up I was shocked. she looked like a cross between a terrier and a schnauzer! It was obvious this groomer has no concern for how a Shih Tau is supposed to look or what the client wants. She was practically shaved! When I told her she was too short she said that was the longest guard she had. It will take months to grow out. I can assure you I will never return to this clinic for any reason We are outraged
