The therapist I have been meeting with for over a year now has been extremely tentative to my needs and is very supportive through my ventures. Absolutely wonderful company and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking one on one therapy for their mental health or substance use.

There is one word to describe this group, and that is AMAZING! They are so understanding, sympathetic and kind. Just talking to these ladies you know that they are the ones for your therapy. I am so glad that I have found the right group to help me with my stress. These ladies are Heaven sent.

Beware this place, they never answer the phone and may take days to call you back. I was an in network patient and my insurance was processing their claim but they called me saying I was out of network. They tried to charge me $950 when in the end my insurance paid them $420. This would have never happened if they had reached out to the insurance company themselves. Needlessly to say, they have some questionable ethics charging someone$950 if they dont have insurance. Our broken healthcare system on display here!

The therapist is good, no complaints there ...but once you give them your credit card your “healing” will turn into a nightmare as you see how they will do three and four transactions at once. There is no regards for the people. They will claim you read an email they sent you. It is what it is...i just dropped and hopefully Ill find healing with a real organization.

The therapists are wonderful. In my opinion they truly care about the patients. The APRN is experienced and knowledgeable in medication. This is an excellent practice.

Ct Healing Center in my opinion is the best in the area. In just one place I was able to have testing done by one clinician, and a medication evaluation done by another. Jennifer and Maryann have been so pleasant and compassionate, a joy to talk to, every appointment I have looked forward to. Very easy access to being able to make appts online, and virtual appts available too. I recommend Ct Healing Center to all, a great experience.

The owner truly only cares about money. That was the only time I would hear from her. Never talked to me on a casual, friendly level! Just got right into the financials and what She thought I owed. Let me tell you...don’t ever cancel without 24 hours notice, even if you’re sick! She’ll haunt you for the big fee!

I wish i was able to give 0 stars, i was a patient here for maybe about a few months. i had two insurances, and when i gave them my insurance info, they did not run my second insurance. When i saw a 230 something dollar bill and found out what had happened, i immediately called them. The office refused to dispute this and claimed that i never gave them my insurance info for my second one. They were very unwilling to assist me is correcting this error, gave me extremely sarcastic answers, and wouldnt prescribe me medications unless i paid it. They are greedy, inhumane, and disrespectful to the people who deal with depression and are inconsiderate of the people with mental health. If you are in need of a mental health doctor i highly recommend finding a doctor a little more passionate about your mental stability and health than they are.Edit: to follow up with the comment left afterward, the office tries to discredit my horrible experience with their billing staff. Claiming that they do not prescribe medications and are a single social worker, if you would kindly fact check this info under the services they provide, medication management is one of the many things they provide at this awful establishment. I am even more appalled and unsatisfied with the lack of ownership and actions i have received from this office. The doctor i had is seen in the bottom left of the picture with all of their staff so i know this is the right business. Again if i could give zero stars i would. If available, transfer to Atlantic Health Services in Hamden, CT.

Ive been to a lot of different therapy and psychiatry offices across the country and CT Healing Center definitely has the most kind and professional mental health care providers I have met. If youre wondering if this place is right for you, I would say the biggest pro is they offer EVERYTHING you need to take care of yourself mentally. They have psyciatrists, therapists and help with your medication management needs. Mary Ann, Leslie and Donna have been nothing but helpful and supportive of me on my road to recovery. 5 stars!!

One of the most comforting places Ive visited for therapy support. The entire staff is so nice. The surroundings make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in the door. Its a house, not an office, complete with an active kitchen and living room/waiting room that respects individual privacy. Most days theres a calming scent of vanilla in the air. My therapist MaryAnn Starks, APRN, is exceptional. Professional, insightful, supportive. I feel much better having visited regularly over the past year. Thank you MaryAnn and everyone at CTHealingCenter!
