UPDATE: The Manager reached out to me after posting this, was extremely apologetic and got me back in that day to fix my hair. I am happy with my hair now and made an appointment with the woman that fixed it.I tried calling the salon to speak with the manager before posting this because as a fellow manager, I felt it was only fair to give them a chance to make it right. When I called, I was told she was too busy to take my call and that if I left a message, she wouldnt get to it until tomorrow and was asked to call back tomorrow. I am extremely unhappy with my hair and after waiting 6 months to get it done again, I am totally disappointed. I paid full price for this and even paid more to have one of the seasoned professionals do my hair. She left me with bleed marks on my hairline as well as randomly on the side. She had pointed out a bleed mark on the back and fixed it with hair dye but clearly did not notice the other two areas. The highlights are uneven on either side and honestly, I asked for a bob and she kept it all one length being way too thick on the back. Lastly, I am very particular about my hair as I wake up and style early every morning to make sure it is sleek and in place and she literally sent me away looking like a drown rat as you can see in the selfie attached. I had to go home and smooth it out just to see the cut! I expected way more from a salon such as Cortos and while I was calling in hopes that they could get me in and fix this mess today or tomorrow before I leave for vacation, due to the manager being too busy I guess I have to take my business elsewhere. Honestly, Ive used Cortos a few times before and never had a bad experience but I will never go back after this. I will say that the woman that did my hair was very nice, but she obviously needs to pay more attention and work on the blow out as well!

First time I went it was great. Second time I got a different person. She was not sure how to mix my previous colors, had to keep asking. Knowing that my notes said i wanted to go lighter she didnt consult with me untill after the color and highlights were on my hair. When I walked in the top of ky head was light the dark was at the bottom. So we didnt put toner in because she said that would mess up the highlights we just did because its so dark. They were bot even done setting and she took them out because she was low on time.Then the hair cut that was never marked down for my apt. Lets just say comb back and cut all ... Not impressed. Barley dryed my hair never styled it.. I walked out with black hair and orange to gold looking highlights. What did I pay for. . 175.00 and. My hair is Black!! I washed it agian and agian and cried. So upset

Cortos is the only place I will schedule a pedicure, massage, and soon, a facial. The professional and friendly staff are exceptional. The facility is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Clients are treated with respect and experience superior services I have been to other high-end spas that did not compare to the quality service I experience at Cortos.I would recommend Cortos to anyone looking for excellent spa services.

My mother and I went here for pedicures. We were greeted immediately, and tended to throughout our experience. The place is very clean, everywhere you look. We were offered snacks and drinks, and seated in a beautiful calm room. From there we were lead to the chairs. The pedicure included a leg and foot massage, and was wonderful! The girls that worked with us were very kind, and we had great conversation. I think that if you were not inclined to converse they would be fine with that, too. The cost is a bit higher, but well worth it!

This was by far the very BEST experience I had in a VERY LONG time. They really care, truly care !!The warm welcome, to the hospitality, the the professionalism of the stylist... CHRISTINA does an AMAZING work of art !! I went to her with a mess and she sent me out the door 2.5 hours later looking AMAZING, wonderful and beautiful!! Management is lacking in actual management skills. I booked a massage over a week ago for 12/31/19 with the intention of using my Health Perks card before it expired with the turn of the year. This particular massage therapist is listed on my health insurers site as a provider. When I booked my appointment I told the receptionist exactly what card I was using and was told that they accepted it, only to learn upon arrival that they actually dont take Independent Health.Its one thing to make a mistake but entirely another to not even try to fix it. Not only was I disappointed about not getting the massage but I was completely out of time to use the Health perks card towards one.Generally, when you inconvenience and disappoint a customer, you try do do something nice to make up for your mistake. This manager basically shrugged her shoulders and told me oh well. On top of it, her demeanor was pretty arrogant and dismissive. This is not the first mistake Ive dealt with with reception but dealing with this manager was definitely the worst experience Ive had there.I have someone that I see regularly at Hamburg Cortos and would hate to stop, but I also hate the thought of giving them my money knowing how little management values their customers.

I booked Cortos for myself and my wedding party to come to my hotel room and get me (the bride) and my bridesmaids ready. Tamera did my hair and make-up, and if this review was for her only I would be giving 5 stars. My hair was perfect and my make-up flawless on my wedding day, and she worked with me a few weeks beforehand to do a trial-run and see what would work best with me. I would completely recommend her to anyone who was interested in hair or make-up and would go back to her again in a heartbeat. Stephanie and Quinn did the hair and make-up for my bridesmaids and they were amazing as well from what I saw, though they didnt do anything with me personally. If I couldnt go back to Tamera I would have no problem going to Stephanie or Quinn. Randi worked with me via e-mail to coordinate everything and it was due to her amazing help that I got the right hair extensions as well! The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 though is because of a consistent lack of communication for a few things - I had stated initially that for myself I wanted air-brush make-up, however at my trial run this hadnt been communicated and I got regular make-up. And then on the day of the wedding even though I had mentioned the air-brush make-up at my trial and paid an extra amount for the air-brush make-up it still didnt happen. It also didnt get communicated that I had wanted lashes applied as well. Luckily for me the regular make-up came out lovely and they happened to have lashes on hand for the wedding day, so it all worked out! Overall I would definitely recommend Cortos and Tamera, Stephanie, and Quinn in particular for hair and make-up. Thank you for making my wedding day a day to remember!

Had a great visit for a haircut today! Was given a tour as well. Huge place and full scale spa. They can cover just about everything. They even have a Bridal party room! My stylist was Jenny. Shes fun, professional and did a great job! ( UPDATE! JENNY IS NOW AT THE HAIR ROOM IN BLASEDELL) All the employees I encountered were very polite.

I have been going to the Hamburg location for a few months now and always get Skylar for my manicure and pedicures. She always does a fantastic job! I can’t recommend her enough!

My girlfriend absolutely loved her massage. So relaxed and happy. Couldnt say enough about how much she enjoyed her experience. I am so glad I thought of Cortos as my first choice for her massage. Definitely will consider a return.

I have never been in a more beautiful salon or spa setting, ever! Everyone who works here is so amazing and talented! The most personable and interesting staff that I have ever worked with, it is impossible to not be completely relaxed and happy when you are here. Hands down, the best place to be. I would live here if I could.

If youre in the market for a spray tan, I HIGHLY recommend Cortos, and Nikki specifically (at the Hamburg location). Lets be honest - it can be extremely awkward and intimidating to stand half naked in front of a stranger, but she made me feel very at ease. I went for the first time in August before my wedding and my wedding pictures came out flawless! I just went again before my company photo is taken this week and she worked her magic again. So happy!

I get mens haircuts here for a reasonable price. They are quick and very well done.

I booked Cortos-Hamburg for hair and makeup for my wedding day. Initially, they were kind and responsive. As the wedding came closer it became much more apparent how unorganized and unprofessional this company is. There were multiple missed emails, issues with scheduling, and it was obvious I was just another paycheck for them. On the day of the wedding the specific products and makeup that we planned on using at the trial run was not used and dismissed when asked about. Due to the fact that they over-booked for this day, they arrived significantly earlier than planned and clearly rushed through everyones hair and makeup. They were in such a rush, they did a burn-out when leaving the property. Though the hair was done at a satisfactory level, the makeup was terrible. It looked half completed and because of that, my bridesmaid had to completely re-do my makeup. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service and quality provided by Cortos. If youre looking for over-priced, convenient, and low quality, this is the place for you. If you want to look your best on your wedding day, go elsewhere.

The spa employees are fantastic, however I have to give Cortos Hamburg 2 stars since I consistently go every month for services since I love Sakina but the front desk girls and Sue the manager are just not on par with a high end spa, Ive never been checked in, greeted, or felt welcome. So overall I cant say Id recommend this place to a friend, but Sakina is fantastic for sugaring and facials!

I think Cortos is great. I have been getting my haircut there for over five years. Justine is the one who takes care of me and I could not be happier. She does an excellent job cutting my hair and makes sure it is done exactly the way I like it. Justine is also a lot of fun to talk to. No need to go any place else.

My wife came in here for a massage, facial and pedicure. Shes been to a lot of spas, so she can be hard to please, but she loved this place. Her exact words to me were how did you find this place? Id definitely go back. Thank you Cortos for making her birthday en enjoyable one!

Karen saved my hair, the price was super reasonable for how much work she put in to my color, and my hair looks wayyy better than I expected considering what I walked in with!!! I was DISTRAUGHT about my hair when I came in and I left so happy and relieved thanks to her!!

I went to cortos for prom makeup in May, and the cost was $80. Some of the makeup was applied with the employees’ hands. I had a picture of the makeup look I aspired, and the color the artist used was the total opposite of my request. She applied the eyeliner before the eye shadow, which resulted in the black eyeliner smudging. She applied a couple false lashes, and my eyes were glued shut together. The artist asked me if I had a lipstick already at home, I told her yes. She then continued to take a lipstick and apply is. She applied it with the applicator it came with, so this had been used on other customers. As well as this lipstick being unsanitary, it was overlined on my lips, causing me to look like a clown. After the 8 minute makeup look was done, I sat in the entrance shaking, because of how this makeup look had looked on me. I paid the $80, and left. As soon as I got home, I quickly took it all of, and did my own makeup. I will not be coming back.

Cortos mobile spa team came out to my friends rehab facility to give her a special day of pampering. After a year of surgeries and treatments in a fight to survive, my friend needed to get her mind off of her daily stresses. The manicurist may have given my friend a beautiful mani-pedi but she also gave her a much needed lift to her self image. Cortos scheduling team responded immediately to every question and accommodated my friend’s medical schedule in a seamless manner. To top it off, the manicurist was sweet, kind and gentle. Were very thankful for the team at Cortos. 5 stars all around!

They butchered my cuticles. 8 out of 10 fingers were bleeding and now they are infected. The gel nails I got were not smooth either so I had to apply 5 layers of topcoat to try to even them out. The place was nice and I wish I could give it a better review but a nice place doesnt justify poor work.

It was my first time having a Pedicure here and I went for my birthday with my mother. I was placed in the massage chair that didnt work all the way and was very disappointed. There were about 6 other chairs open and I was placed in a chair where the massage didn’t go completely up my back but staying only on the lower back???? I watched my mother in complete joy as she was so comfortable and relaxed as I couldn’t wait till it was over. Service was great! Pedicure was awesome, but I wish as it was a slow afternoon that I could have been placed in a working massage chair.

Loved the environment and professionalism. calm and comforting environment makes a huge difference from other spas. Will be back!

Very dissatisfied....Not a good pedicure at all the tech talked nonstop.( About herself)..paid $65 and feet were still dry and looked terrible. Spoke to the manager I explained what happened she said she would get back to me and never heard a word. I will not be going back to that location. I really thought cortos was better then that.

My manicure was very rushed. There is nail polish in my cuticles and all over my fingers. I could have painted my nails better at home. The entire manicure took 7 minutes. She did not do my cuticles and barley filed my nails. Overall not happy about the experience but there was free coffee for the wait. I would not recommend.

The woman doing my hair had the nerve to be quite condescending to me while I was paying for a $200 Brazilian blowout service. She pulled on my hair quite roughly and made snide remarks about me opting not to add a hair cut. Also asked me, who cut your bangs last? And when I said I couldnt remember she rolled her eyes. Hardly talked to me otherwise. Added $80 worth of shampoo and conditioner to my bill automatically which I had to talk off and they still tried to charge me more than the quoted price. The only saving grace was the young woman who cashed me out. I was very disappointed in my experience here.

I had Katie for my nails and hair appointment. The Signature Manicure goes like this: she takes sand paper like nail file, puts a clear GEL coat, then two or three color coats, and lotion with a slight finger massage. No filing, NO CUTICLE TREATMENT of any sort. just oil. she didnt get rid of any extra dry skin on my finger nails. The result : WAVY thick nails, at night one of them chopped. Today is a second day, i had to take everything off because it looked ridiculous. My nails look like i ripped off artificial nails.Oh, and when she finished I asked her I thought it included the paraffin bath? Id like that too... she said :Oh, did you want it too?Really?So here is my no tip day. Now I have to wait months for my nails to grow out!Regarding hair: still doesnt seem like she knows what she is doing. my front layers wouldnt be trimmed unless I asked her too after she was done.. All I wanted is a little trim. And they were not cut straight at all. Now I gotta go to another specialist to make them look normal.No hard feelings. Im just pissed!

Received a 30 prenatal massage. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. My sisters and I have gone the past two years for a spa day and its been great!

I got my eyebrows done here yesterday and they are horrible. The second I walked out of the salon I started crying. I asked for a touch up and she completely made my eyebrows from bushy and natural to 00s thin brows. My skin is super red still and hurts. I wish I didn’t even pay because now I have to go to Ulta and buy makeup to fix them. I think the wax was even too hot bc my right eyebrow is so much more raw and red than my left brow, and it still stings over 12 hours later. I really wouldn’t recommend.

Had a wonderful Deep Tissue Massage by Wendy. Absoutly helps with my neck and back issues! The Rejuvenating Glycolic Facial done by Quinn simply put is finaminal! My acne is clearing up and never felt better about my skin! Both these women are fantastic in every way! Thank you for such an enjoyable and relaxing experience as always.

I’ve been really reluctant to give a post on my experience here, because I had years of good service at this place. But I keep getting email from them (even though I haven’t been there in almost a year) for a google review, so here we go. I went to Cortos for years, every 2-3 weeks regularly for manicures and probably every 1-2 months for pedicures. I never had a bad experience, I raved about it to everyone I knew. Cortos always had the same girls working and I knew several of them and that they were all good at what they did. That’s why when it was time for my sisters wedding, it was a no brainer to go for manis and pedis the day before the wedding and hair and makeup the day of the wedding. The manis and pedis were A DISASTER. I believe there were 5 of us for pedis and 7 for nails. When the girls came to get us, there were two of the usual girls that my sister and I had requested and the rest were new girls I had never seen before in my life. They butchered my mothers manicure and another bridesmaids. Though they were so slow we had no time to get them re-done that day, they had to be re-done the day of the wedding while also getting hair and makeup done. Cortos didn’t give me any trouble when I called and asked that they be re-done but it was incredibly upsetting because I had never in my life had such bad service at this place. These girls were awful, like I could do nails better - so I can’t imagine these girls could have possibly had any experience, and that the salon would let them do anyone’s nails, let alone nails for something as important as a wedding. I would have been upset if I got a manicure like that in general, but for a wedding party it was absolutely horrendous. The hair and makeup was great, but the nail day was such a mess that I have not gone back since.

I come in at least a couple times a year for a massage and go to Sakina. I havent been to anybody else because after my first massage with Sakina, I will always continue to use her. She focuses on the areas I ask and I always feel refreshed and just better when I leave. I look forward to my next one.

Nice atmosphere, but worse mani/pedi Ive ever had. Gel polish lasted 1 day on the and only a week for rest. Worst of all, left sores at nail beds.

I went to cortos spa for a bridal shower. The event space was lovely but I found the manicures to be way overpriced for the quality. I received gel manicures that chipped after one day of use (i was told one to two weeks). the work was sloppy and you can see that the technitian missed putting the top coat on the sides of some nails. Even the actual color coat is uneven near my cuticles. Would never go back there to get nails done.

Last year i went here and was given the worst haircut of 53 years. They cannot seem to keep any barbers on staff, and i go in and even though they advertise walk ins welcome, they had no barbers on staff nor stylests. I gave my girlfreind a massage from here and this too was poorly done. Stay away, very poorly run. They do not care about their customers

Very disappointed. Waited half an hour after my scheduled appointment & left. Little contact with any employee. 45 minutes after my scheduled time I received a phone call saying that my appointment was for half an hour after the scheduled time - I was told that I had been pushed back. I was not told this when I entered the salon & checked in nor did any employee inform me of this as I waited.Poor customer service

A lot of money for cut and color and I walked out with a trim and gray still showing in my hair. Very disappointing!

I had an absolutely terrible experience here today. I went to the Hamburg Location to get and ombre in my hair. I was put with a stylist who did not know how to do it. They found another stylist to do the ombre, but I have no idea what it looked like because the stylist who then cut my hair CUT OUT ALL THE BLONDE! So the color that I paid to have put in, was then cut out! Additionally, this is one of the worst hair cuts I have had in a long time. She also could not style hair and the blow out had still wavy parts in it when I got home and was able to look more closely at it. All together with tips this cost me about $250 and it honestly looks like I took a pair of kitchen scissors and did it myself. My hair is completely ruined!!!!! I could not possibly be more disappointed. Everyone out there... Do not waste your money on an ombre - they do not know what they are doing!
