The physical therapy I receive from Premier Health & Fitness is the best. My therapist takes time with me and encourages me to work as hard as I can.When I get tired, he understands completely. This place is the best.

I’m relatively new to the area and have been looking for a gym that I could actually walk/bike to. I wanted to check this place out because of all the bad reviews and to give them a fair chance. (Nobody has that many legit bad reviews.) Just as suspected, extremely professional and incredibly friendly staff. If you’re thinking about a friendly neighborhood gym, give it a shot and see for yourself. I’m excited to be a member here!

After returning to SoFla after being absence for years was looking for great laid back gym to train. Had trained at Premier Health & Fitness previously but believe its gotten better over the years. Its a large 2 floor facility with all the equipment needed to get a good workout in, whether intense weight training or burning calories on the exorbitant amount of cardio equipment they have (a combination of both old and newer equipment). They also just added a separate AB Workout room, which is pretty cool with some great AB equipment. The clientele is pretty chill, mostly retired folks, professionals or students just working out, yet to see any juice heads slamming or throwing weights around, always a welcome change. Always super clean and the front lobby staff are AWESOME, always helpful and friendly. And if youre able to workout during off-peak hours, its pretty sweet as its never crowded.Just one note for Mgmt: like the upstairs reconfiguration, esp the AB room as well as some of the new equipment, but how about some new barbells too especially the ones that are starting to rust making them a tad difficult to put weight plates onto the bar?

It was very easy to sign up. Everything was explained perfectly and both people were very nice.The gym is big and clean and parking is no problems I am only a member for 2 weeks but so far it is fine. I like the way you use your own personal number for I.D.

After visiting the YMCA and seeing how many kids (under 16) were crowding the fitness floor I needed an option that has rules about unattended kids in the gym…this place is it. Simple process to sign up, no contract, friendly staff (very rare) and great pricing. It was a no brainer.

First time coming to this gym and I really enjoyed it! The morning staff is very nice and helpful and there’s a ton of machines that are constantly kept clean. I really look forward to making this my permanent gym.

I went to Premier Health for a facial. My esthetician, Kathleen is definitely the best in the business. The business used to be privately owned by someone who made it much more comfortable to wait for your appointment and it was much more friendly back then. Now its cold and sterile. This however doesnt take anything away from my esthetician, Kathleen, who always does a wonderful facial.

Signed up today. Carlos was extremely efficient and professional. Gym is super clean and well equipped.

I am a member of Premier Gym for a good 5 years, and I’ve never been disappointed about a detail.Management and reception are very friendly and attentive; the gym is well equipped and maintained.Machines are cleaned 24/7. You can see a cleaning attendant who disinfects equipment every time it is used. Compared to other gyms in the area, Premier offers the best quality 👍🏼I appreciate the hard work of gym staff and want to say, BIG THANKS🙏💪🙏

This place explicitly says on their site $45 monthly membership. No hidden fees. No obligation. Tried to sign up for one month and said it was going to be $100. 100% lie. It had both hidden fees and an obligation to get the price advertised on their site.

Great gym. Sadly its being review bombed by a salty ex trainer.(none of those accounts have more than 1 review) There are no classes due to covid so that should tell you about the fake reviews.The reality is that they’re great people. The gym is constantly being cleaned, prices are low, and they have been constantly working to make it easy for people to keep safe during this pandemic.Good equipment, good hours, low crowd sizes, what else you need. Go and get your workout in.

I recently joined this gym. It’s the cleanest gym I’ve found. The equipment is in very good condition. The staff is very polite, weights are put away, and it’s not too crowded.

I encourage anyone thinking about joining this gym, especially the owner, to read this review which is based on facts not fakes.A popular gym until zone training area was created, lots of weight equipment removed, and all classes became extra money. Top membership rose from around $40 a month to over $100. Some amenities removed like childcare. Classes quickly deteriorated because the gym arranged the schedule focusing more on zone classes,in order to charge even more money. Neglected spinning and aerobics classes suffered dramatically, while zone classes proved to be a flop. Top instructors who previously were bringing people and filling the classes, either were fired or they left to work for other gyms paying what they deserve. Members began to bail out in large numbers, schedule was cut, while overall quality of classes and instructors continued to fall. Attendace has never regained the same top consistency as before. Customer service also went down, although it was never good to begin with.Now comes the icing on the cake, the owner, known for his volatile personality and kicking out customers and employees from his gym. Ive seen it several times and honestly its quite lamentable. This statement can easily be corroborated by reading the confrontational replies hes written to those reviews which in most part, have a lot in common with whats described above.I am telling the truth because Ive known this place almost since opening day, and saw a lot of good and not-so-good things happening here. Theres an old saying. you are the result of what you plant and grow, and not what you attempt to harvest.

I was greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smiles! They took their time to walk me through the gym and explain each section and made sure that I had no questions. I was really happy with the service but even beyond that, the cleanliness of the gym was really great! It’s nice to be a part of a club that cares about the well being of their members!

Spent a month working out here and had an amazing and smooth experience. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel part of their family (special thanks and kudos to Jahaira for that). The machines are in good standing and everything looks clean. COVID guidelines are enforced and guests’ temperature is checked upon entry.

I am new to the area; this gym has become like a family😊😊😊. Also, the fitness center has lots of equipment; it is VERY clean: the members are friendly; and the staff is extremely hospitable. I highly recommend this gym. By the way, I have begun to utilize their personal boxing coach—she is AWESOME!!!

I was a member of this gym for nearly 10 years. At the beginning it was great, lots of equipment and classes and fair prices. But in the last few years it has gone way downhill. Ever since they started zone classes they removed a lot of equipment and began chaghing people extra money to take classes. Ripoff. It makes no sense to be a member.

I have been a member of Premier gym for years now and I have to give it 5 stars! The staff are very attentive and get to know you on a first name basis. The gym has always been very clean but now during Covid they have stepped up their cleanliness even more! The best part is that it is never packed and machines are always available! Love this gym and couldnt recommend it more!!

Never seen it, much less set foot into, so Im in no position to agree or disagree with the reviews. But I do question a large number of comments by the owner, which in my opinion are quite hostile, disgraceful, and totally unprofessional. This is precisely what triggered me into submitting my own comment. I was a businessman for many years and never took a negative comment as an offense or threat. Quite contrary, I took every one of them as a way to correct mistakes and improve my business, which brought in more customers. I dont know who you are Sir, but your hostile approach to comments which you may not like, can only be compared to those coming from a bully teenage brat (pardon the expression), or an individual under the influence, so dont expect my patronage. Needs to drop the prices and be the gym it once was, with a competitive flat fee, all inclusive, that will attract and bring people back. A good gym is a matter of volumes; not high prices and less customers, but just the opposite, charge less and get more members. He scr3wed up, and still in denial mode.

Jahaira (manager) does an excellent job of keeping the gym in top condition, with excellent service, and cleanliness.It is important to recognize it in public because gyms around, have closed for not complying safety regulations during this pandemic situation.It’s undoubtedly the best gym in the area !!! .I travel a lot for work, and train in every place I visit. Ive been a member of Premier Fitness for over 8 years, and my experiences at the gym have always been positive. Plenty of good equipment in a great atmosphere. Great staff as well.

Moved to Hallandale Beach earlier in the year, and while looking for a place to work out came across Premier H&F. Took a tour of the facilities but it didnt quite convince me, mainly due to the limited weights and machines and high-end fees. During this CV-19 shutdown, Ive been doing lots of research about this place and carefully listened to what my neighbors had to say, since they are former members and will never set foot there again. My business partner was also a member and shares no love for it either. So, what at first I though, any negative reviews to be attacking, now based on my own diligence, what Ive been told, and the recent unprofessional replies posted by someone claiming to be the owner (I would think a real business owner will take corrective action against complaints, rather than challenging them), I have no doubt the majority of the reviews here speak the truth.Ill pass on Premier, and have chosen the nearby (and far superior) health and fitness facilities offered by the City Of Hallandale Beach, which I am not mentioning, at a much bargain rate.

My experience at Premier was nothing but frustrating. Its overpriced to begin with. The gym looks and feels old, with not too much weight equipment and machines. Aerobic and spinning studios are relatively average, also crying for renovation. I took a few classes and theres barely any people in there, so I never felt motivated at all. Reception has bitter employees who seem to have forgotten the reason why they are there.So, Premier accomplished the goal of convincing me to cancel my membership and go to another gym. Done deal.

I left Premier for good after nearly 8 years, tired of wasting my money on a place which doesnt strive to improve, much less care about customers. This last statement was confirmed when I was filling out the cancellation paperwork at the front desk, the manager Jahaira never bothered to ask me why I was leaving. A good business representative will attempt to retain a customer and try to fix any issues. It doesnt happen here. They lost a good customer just like it happened with hundreds of members. Worst, most unprofessional front desk employees ever.

Worse than this fitness club I have not seen. All management work is aimed at taking your money as much as possible. For business, he left for several months in another state. I called the club with a request to suspend payment because I can not attend the club. Got an amazing answer. To suspend payments, you must personally come to the club and make a cancellation. For five months the club was withdrawing money from my card.

I dont recommend it. Dont waste your time, its not worth the frustration and negative energy. This gym lacks management and good customer service.

Premier is not at the same level of many new and superior gyms recently established in the area. The facilities and equipment show evident signs of age and lack of proper care, classes and instructors dont convince, prices arent competitive. The result has been an almost empty gym because most members left.

Old gym, outdated equipment, and expensive. Poor group classes and schedules. The unlimited membership can reach $150 x mo, more than triple what they were charging a few years ago, but facilities and classes have overall degraded. Boring atmosphere with zero energy. Bathrooms lacking periodic sanitation and no child care services.The staff acts indifferent and very unorganized, they dont care. High members turnover mainly due to the above reasons and billing problems (overcharging). They use a third party (ABC Financial Svcs.) to do the billing, and this company WILL charge you forever. Beware !! Bland people and owner with a very bad attitude, engaging in verbal altercations with members and staff. Very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor, and dont let this horrible place fool you. I do not lie. Over 11 plus years as a member and I had enough of Premier.

It was very good before it went through major changes, I believe in 2015. Removing space and weight equipment to make room for zone HIT and charge people more money to take classes created a progressive downfall for Premier. Tired of paying too much, I terminated my contract and cancelled my cc so they wont draft my account again and again.

Unquestionably, not worth the steep membership price. A conscious, down to earth individual will not even consider this gym. If you want to get the most bang for your money, its not going to happen at premier.

Nothing positive can be said about Premier, except for one or two longtime trainers who have their own clients and mind their own business. Rude owner, unprofessional manager and staff doing their best to encourage members to take their business elsewhere. It has, and will always be this way, until the gym gets a new owner, and the toilet is flushed for good. Until then, I wont touch this place with a ten foot pole.

I was a happy member during the 2000s, back when the gym was at its prime. Never missed a class which were all full of people. I got transferred to another city, and recently relocated back again to HB. Came to check out the place and perhaps rejoin, but fees have tripled and overall gym quality dropped. Front desk reception didnt impressed me either, a far cry from the days of Diego. No need to say, I didnt sign.

It was a very good gym, but not anymore. Classes were energetic and full of people. The place rocked. Now its just an overpriced run down hole. So many good instructors are now gone, classes are lamentable, equipment is deficient, and the front desk people have an attitude problem.

Was looking for a gym close to my home to do weight training on my days off from martial arts classes. I was very much disappointed. Somehow rudimentary, deficient equipment, and priced above any chain health club offering better amenities. Uncourteous front desk reception finally persuaded me not to join.

I terminated my membership after many years of loyalty to Premier, and paying too much money for an inferior, decaying gym. I also got tired of reminding the front desk staff to fix machines, spinning bikes and water fountains which barely pull a sip of water. Customer feedback and suggestions are ignored, while constructive criticism is taken as a threat by the owner who, in many cases, has kicked out those members claiming what they are entitled to.

An old, average local gym. You would expect to pay not more than $30 a month based on the overall quality of what they have yo offer, but thats not the case because they charge an outrageous monthly fee if the member wants to take classes. This is precisely where Premier fails so miserably and has driven so many people to other gyms.

What a hideous gym !Based on the high membership fees they charge, it should be a better gym with good, solid classes and top instructors. But no, its quite the opposite here. Im a new resident of Florida trying to find a new gym to workout. Couldnt even get a one day pass to try it out because I didnt have a FL drivers license yet. Absolutely ridiculous. Read all the reviews from hundreds of other victims below and you will understand that its not worth it.

When I pay considerable money to take classes (membership isnt cheap here) I expect quality, consistency, and good, responsible instructors who show up on time. On many instances even before covid-19, I witnessed many classes dropped or canceled, and instructors showing up late or being replaced.Evidently they dont show any concern much less appreciation for customers. Its no wonder why this gym is always empty.

Consistently deteriorating since weight floor space was reduced to make room for HIT Zone, membership went up the roof and classes became additional money. Place still looks old and not too clean, good customer service has always been absent. IMO, members paying prime fees deserve better.

Nothing the gym has to offer is appealing, but rather appalling. Quick facelift about 5 years go, but workout space and classes have been reduced. The relatively new treadmills are overshadowed by old clumsy machines and weight equipment.Management is poor as well.

Always a friendly team on staff and during the time of a pandemic it’s good to know that there’s a staff that’s willing to work with you. They also do a good job of making sure the equipment is cleaned and that people are following the rules.

Aerobic classes and instructors leave a lot to be desired, this is a place with absolutely zero energy. Why are the rest of the gyms in the area packed while this one is an empty lifeless dump?But the biggest problem is the owner, who runs the place with an attitude, always disrespecting both members and staff. No matter how many face lifts this gym goes through, nothing will change unless this lunatic steps down for good.

Used to be a high beat gym environment, especially in the evenings with back to back classes from 5 pm and awesome instructors. It was also very affordable. Fast forward, the gym is now a pale fart of mediocrity, because he jacked up the prices, downgraded both classes and instructors, so everyone left.

Not too long ago it was a thriving gym. $40 / month included aerobic and spinning classes and very good instructors. This place was packed, and many times I wasnt able to get a bike because they were all taken before the class even started. Hard to imagine the same scenario these days at Premier, and even before COVID-19 closures. Membership fees nearly tripled, classes downgraded/cancelled, and the gym has been deserted for a long time. It was a big mistake to bring Zone and increase prices, the vast majority of members left.

I know this gym well enough to emphasize how substandard it has become since 2015. It went from a fully packed facility, one rate-all inclusive, to an empty oasis, as a direct result of bad decisions. 27 years in business but never showing signs of patronage appreciation. Members overcharged and instructors underpaid. Undeniable facts to keep in mind before committing to an expensive membership at Premier.

I dont mind paying 120 x month on a gym, but also my expectations are high. Here it works quite the opposite, you pay a lot and in return you get an old middling gym with outdated and limited weight equipment, dirty bathroom and locker area, plus the most sorry, yawning classes ever imaginable. There is no commitment, much less desire from the owner to turn the tables around and make this place more attracting and worth the money. And when it comes to cancelling a membership, get ready for a turbulent ride. You better off shop around for a better gym.

I dont mind paying top dollar on a gym membership, but I also expect the best. Premier in my opinion, offers inferior facilities and services which dont justify their cost. Its a shame because I only live a few blocks away.

Premier is a great local gym in Hallandale beach. I’ve been going here for about 7 years now. Has everything you need from adequate free weights to machines as well as a good amount of cardio equipment and they offer a variety of different group exercise classes if that’s your thing too. They have great personal trainers who are some of the friendliest people around especially Kevin and coach Ian. Much better than the big box corporate gyms that are always over packed and a mess. It’s like a small community here everyone gets to know each other including the staff who is always very friendly and accommodating. It’s clean and well maintained and prices are competitive. I’ve seen a lot of random recent one star reviews that seem to all be written in the same time frames which makes me believe it was some sort of troll or fake reviewers or prob just some gym douches who got yelled at for taking filtered gym selfies while taking up space and their feelings got hurt. So wanted anyone reading to read an honest review from a long time member. I highly recommend if your looking for a great local gym that has everything you need in the Hallandale/Hollywood area.

Unfriendly, discouraging place. A plain bread and butter gym attempting to be an a la carte facility. Quite expensive too. Crude desolated environment, the owner and staff show no true appreciation towards customers. If youre looking for a good overall gym, this isnt the place.

I joined Premier without doing any prior research, and I honestly regret it. The poor facilities, equipment, classes, instructors and awful customer service did not meet my expectations, especially when paying almost $150 every month. This kind of money buys a membership at any top notch fitness club, but not here.

Wish I could give them negative stars. The worst gym, trying to just make money inappropriately. I cancelled my membership and the person working at the front desk told me she had taken care of it and I would have no more payments or anything. Two weeks later they started calling and saying now I would have to pay for the next month as well until they could cancel it. I paid that too, and now I got another month charged to my credit card I cancelled my membership 2 months ago. That is very disappointing and frustrating. While offering the membership they dont tell all this stuff. Will never suggest anyone to buy their membership. Moreover, their customer service is worse. They are very very rude.

Premier Gym is a wonderful place to go. Lots of great equipment and wonderful classes that fit everyones schedule and amazing class instructors like Aymara and Cameron! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even give you a free class to try! Definitely recommend for everyone!!!

Ive been going to this gym for 3 years and I absolutely love it! The best staff, they are extremely sanitary during these hard covid times. They are not the cheapest around, but they are deffinitely worth the money. The machinery is all upgraded and they maintain the facility very well. Jahaira is the best manager I have ever encountered also. Great gym!

I was throwing away my money here and not getting what I expected based on the absurd fees. Found a better gym nearby charging fractionally less.

It costs too much money for a month to month membership, and the gym delivers nothing worth. It made absolutely no sense to continue my membership.

What has happened to this place? A once thriving gym, full of energy, great classes, and very affordable, now turned into a ghostly shadow of its glory. Blame this decrepit downfall on the introduction of Zone HIT (a scam), and the owners unwise decision to increase rates and charge additional for the classes. Add the rusty instructors, trainers, bad customer service, and old, filthy bathrooms. Members come and go, but only a few remain. Do not waste your money here.

Far from being a good gym. It used to get los of accolades from local residents who made Premier their favorite place to exercise. But wrong, stubborn-minded decisions have brought this place down to its knees. I dont recommend this gym.

Im a resident of hallandale and Hollywood. Have businesses here. This gym is super clean. The machines are new. The family is well known and respected. . But to see some weirdo get on here like he has is unfair and dissgusting. Service ? Carlos at the front desk is an ANGEL. So if you need a gym Definetly this place is worth it. As far as running up cards ? When I had to leave they never charged me again. In this city we support each other objectively and this guys gym is good and so is his pizza place and rental units. He is not a door mat but was raised by the best and his brother is a well respected doctor too. This poster also wrote crazy things about other businesses in the area. I personally dont buy or join off Google reviews. Just go by the gym and see for yourself its a nice clean place with a really great guy running the desk and some really great trainers.
