I am a loyal customer because its hard to find an honest mechanic with reasonable prices. I first took my car to Tonys 4 years ago to get a second opinion before making a decision of either junking my car or having to lay out 1000 plus dollars on getting it fixed. I am so glad to have gone to Tonys because it turned out my car just needed minor repairs, the owner gave me a great deal. I wont go anywhere else!

I love this place. They have been keeping my moms Monte Carlo running perfectly for over a decade. In addition to routine maintenance, we have had several mechanical issues which they expertly and promptly fixed. I was traveling from Canada to Florida, and back, and I had a transmission fluid leak and needed a new gasket - a rather simple job that Goodyear Repair Point, on Hallandale Beach Blvd. wanted to charge me $240 for. However, Tony, being an honest mechanic, did the job for a reasonable $140 and his mechanic took my vehicle for a test drive just to ensure that the transmission would run smoothly.

My back brake light came on when I shut car off. So I brought my vehicle to Tony’s Auto Repair. I told the person that I saw the problem and quicker than I ever saw in my life; he knew what the problem was and fixed it in under 10 minutes. I wish Dr’s could diagnose as fast. His name is Lou and he has been with Tony’s for over 40 yrs. I asked him what I owe him, he said bring vehicle in for a oil change. I read all the reviews on the internet and they were 100% accurate and truthful. My GF and people where I live use Tony’s and now I will be using Tony’s.

This guys been in business for over 40 years in Hallandale for a reason hes honest and reasonable.

Usually you cant trust mechanics but these guys are honest and reasonable. It may also be that Im not ignorant to car talk, mechanics smell that like sharks.

First of all id like to say that compared to Midas, a franchise that spends money advertising, this shop is lightyears ahead in knowledge, service, turn around time, and overall staff morale. This place is amazing. I was convinced (incorrectly by midas) that my waterpump or timing cover was leaking coolant. Brought it to Tonys and within ten minutes (and NO pressure testing, just visual inspection) they told me the issue was a rotted heater hose. they offered several solutions, the least expensive of which was to remove the heater core hose and reroute it. in the process i would lose the ability to heat, but my cold A/C still works fine. We opted for this and i had my car back the same day. The estimate was free and the quoted price was upheld even after they went over budget. I sincerely do not like mechanics, and will generally do all the work I can myself, but for this job i needed a professional and thats exactly what I got. I cant vouch for these guys enough ESPECIALLY if you bring them an old cadillac. This is old caddy heaven.
