The Haines City Post Offices staff has always been very friendly and accommodating when I need to personally pick up a package (never charged-not sure what another review meant by that) they even called me to let me know I had a package!!!!, forwarding my mail, holding my mail etc. When I have had to call, I always talk to a person, I have never experienced an automated answering service. I couldnt ask for more! This staff is awesome! And a BIG Thank you to Minnie for going above and beyond!

I am not the type of person than leaves bad reviews. But I have to warn other people to get a mailbox in a diferente location. This place acts like there’s no management control on the situations they keep repeating. It is the 3rd time I have a package sent back to the sender. After “being 2 days” in the mailbox that I never received. They aren’t leaving keys, and forget to put the package notification as well. I spoke to the cashier of this location and she got my name and phone number to call me if they find it (because they weren’t able to find the package neither the current location of it even with their own tracking number). I never got the call back, and I see it’s back to my sender now. I am also going to expose here how disrespectful I was treated by a manager who walk and gave me his back when I was asking him for my letters. He said since he gave to a stranger with my same last name, who said it was my father. I was so frustrated I was humiliated like that in front of my toddler. Like you buy a box but have no rights over it

Terrible experience with rude man who refused to accept my sons passport as a valid form of proof of citizenship. Told me his passport renewal would get declined without a birth certificate, even with a valid, current passport. He refused his military ID as well and when presented with a valid FL state ID was mad because it wasnt a drivers license. Didnt want to send in his passport renewal and told him hed be wasting $110. Was rude, sarcastic, and had no idea how to do his job. Do not try to get anything done with a passport here!!!

I sent an envelope on June 16 to arrive on June 21 because today July 01, they do not know anything about the envelope and they give it as lost and thats it, what a lack of ethics, empathy, professionalism, how unprofessional people are representing USPS in this agency...

I actually get good service at this post office. Lines are few and far between. When there is a line, extra windows are opened and even the manager comes out and helps. My packages also do not sit in the building and instead are in transit within 8 hours to the next shipping center. want to avoid the lines, pre-label and pay on line and just drop off your packages at the out going mail desk without waiting. Of the three post offices I use, this one is always my first choice.

Lost Package: I had an order that I needed by a specific day. My order came in timely, but the smart people that work in the post office put my package in the wrong P.O. Box. I contacted the Haines City location and the response I got was I will have to wait to see if someone turn it in.

Horrible service, we had absolutely no problems getting our mail until they switched drivers, we’ve live at our current location for over 5 years with no problem getting our mail, house number clearly place at the end of the driveway mail box next to it, our house is 30 ft from the edge of the street. And the current driver stated that he or she could not deliver because they couldn’t get to the box which is complete BS. The automated answering service that USPS has will push you over the edge.

Constantly leaving my mail in my neighbors houses and vice versa. Also packages are stuffed in my mail box to the point I have a hard time removing it from the box.

I ordered a package and so far 2 days they cant even bring it to the door and it fails in being delivered. Worst carrier provider ever.

Very clean and organized Post Office. Aside from that it is never busy and I am always able to get right in and out with a very minimal wait. The staff are also very nice and friendly.

Don’t know if the reason is because of COVID-19 but they are coming and bring in mail only one or two days a week, and went they come the come after 6pm.

Been at my new address for 5 months I receive mail and packages daily (no exaggeration). Now according to Tony at this office, the carrier for my area made a mistake and forwarded my package to an unknown address from a previous tenant. This was a very time sensitive item I was supposed to receive today. Now Im being told it will be at least two days before the package gets here (they cant even say when exactly). No accountability for the USPS though. They made a mistake. They know it and admitted to it. They dont even offer to make up for it. They dont care obviously. Shouldnt they at least try to expedite the package because they made a pretty big mistake? Well theyve done nothing. I will pay extra from now on to avoid the USPS. Ill get faster service, and much better customer service.

I send a package form Texas on 08/05/2020 it was express mail overnight and it was schedule to arrive on 08/07/2020 but it was delay till 08/08/2020 the package was open, ( THIS IS THE 2ND TIME PACKAGES ARE OPEN) 1/2 of the items where missing ( A Texas baseball cap, a special toothpaste and a pair of RAYBAN sunglasses with case) and that is not all, I have send 2 boxes of Medication and both where open and both are missing 7 pills.I called the post office and they told me there is nothing they could do ant their location that I have to summit a claim online.I am Very upset !!!!!!!

Someone was home. I saw the delivery truck. I grabbed my mail while looking at the delivery man. Postage read sorry we missed you while you were out ummm...you didnt even attempt to deliver my package USPS and when I get to the post office at 4pm to pick up my package, theyre closed. Youve got to do better for the people USPS.

I went to ship a package for the first time in my life and he’s huffing and puffing the entire time while the other mailman is snickering and laughing about our exchange. I’m sorry that you all are having issues with unionizing and such but that doesn’t give a reason to treat people the way they do. I did not ship my package here. I went a town over.

Lazy mail delivery!!!! I left the gate to my home open for them to come in and let me sign when they arrived and then genius leaves a notice of attempt delivery???!!! You literally didnt attempt to do anything!

If you’ve prepaid for a shipping label they don’t scan it. Then it goes missing, then they blame you. The supervision is rude. Taller skinny guy. Wish I could remember his name. He was very arrogant.

Im Very Disappointed With The Mail Delivery Services In This Area. If Our Regular Mail Lady Is Out, Or Someone Else Covers Her Route... Mail Is ALWAYS Misdelivered. Its Dropped Off To Wrong House, Or All Mail From Entire Street Is Delivered To One Home Owner. May be Sorting Need To Be Done Prior to Delivery, NOT During the Route Due To Carrier Rushing. Mail Has Been Undeliverable And This Is Very Frustrating. Ive Never Had Issue With Previous USPS Location. Please Have This Addressed & Hire Proper People.

Have called twice for mail which has not been forwarded. Both times a phone system tells me I have a one hour wait to talk to a human! The IRS & Social security offices combined wait times are better than this!!!

Constantly and blatantly refuses to deliver packages and letters so they can charge us to pick them up. They charge Crazy rates for you to pick up something you ALREADY PAID FOR. Their carriers often put pick up notices in the mailbox without even going near the residence to see if theres someone to receive the packages. They also almost always deliver the packages that get through severely damaged. They are a group of scammers Lineing their own pockets with money they claim to be charging for servive.

After having multiple packages delivered yet damaged. They decided to say multiple packages were undeliverable and costing me to pay to have them shipped again. Manager of the post office just dismissed me and didnt seem to care that his carrier screwed up. Now I have come to find out that on multiple occasions they put my packages on the wrong truck for delivery causing some packages to be sent back to the shipper as undeliverable.

They did not deliver my package and it returned to me. They said it was a resort vacation area and packages are not allowed to be delivered. Resent it by Fedex and it was delivered.

Delivered a package three weeks late that contained jars of salsa. Sat it on my front door step completely shattered and the salsa leaked through the box and molded everywhere! USPS decided to just wrap it with plastic wrap and throw it on my porch. Ridiculous!

Considering their pay and benefits as opposed to a customer service person at Publix or Walmart, they should be head and shoulders ahead of their competition. The few times I visit, they are pleasant and accommodating.

Mailman for Southern Dunes country club writes on our mail with black sharpie ruining our mail....he now isnt delivering our mail...our home is deeded with mallory circle, he keeps writing key largo ct on it.....polk county has it as mallory cir....this guy is being a complete dick! will be reporting him to postmaster!!!!!!

This is a Post Office with its patrons in mind. The only drawback I experienced is there are no stamp or postage machines for after hours needs.

Have asked multiple times not to have packages put over fence where dogs are. Put a paper in mailbox I will come pick up. 4th package my dogs have torn up.

Typical slow service. Parking lot needs speed bump. Saw someone nearly struck by car taking short cut to beat traffic light.

Annoyed with the delivery of the package, very bad service since there have been 2 times that I had a problem the first time they gave me an open and empty package. the second they voted for me a package does not appear since June 6, 2020, apparently I put it in another mailbox and the postman says that he does not know and they have me to return tomorrow and I have already gone through the mail 4 times and they do not have any type of information is time and money I lose and nobody does NOTHING I do not understand the employees they have and the bad service ... Do something and do not abuse the customers !!
