Enterprise is the car rental company that I prefer and have used for many years. Ive always been happy with my rentals until this last one I had. The vents in the car were dusty and the windshield wipers were awful. Having windshield wipers that dont do the job during a rainstorm is horrible. Twice I had to pull off the road because it wasnt safe to drive due to visibility. The rental office did offset my rental cost by a day for the inconvenience. So Enterprise did make up for it. I will continue to be a loyal Enterprise customer.

I dealt with several rental agencies around Hines City and New Haven attempting to rent a vehicle. Haines city Enterprise located on Route 17 just east of 27 was out of vehicles when I called about renting the following day. I was told to call the agency which was an hours drive for me (great, I do not have a vehicle remember?). Thus, I contacted a privately run agency in Haines City which was less than accommodating, and in fact, a bit rude the two times I called (once the day before and once the morning of rental), that attitude prompted me to scratch it from my list of options.Later in the day prior to renting, near closing time, I again called the Haines City Enterprise but was informed that no vehicles were available, nor would they be.The following morning I again called the Haines City branch and low and behold a different person answered the phone (the assistant manager I believe). Completely different attitude was presented and yes, in fact they had multiple vehicles available so come pick one out. In short order I obtained a ride and was at the facility which was just a few minutes from my location. Enterprise delivers!From that point on, the store portrayed the service I had come to expect from Enterprise. The vehicle was clean (other than inside the windshield) but even better, the employee which assisted me was just excellent. He took the time to review my best option for long term rental vs weekly, in order to save money.I suspect that whomever was working the morning and afternoon till closing on the date I called was not too interested in renting a vehicle .Otherwise 5 stars.

Horrible, I can express more. Staff working is rude. Gave me a car that someone just returned did not sanitize the vehicle. Just shampoo and gave me the car with soap all over it. I always rent with enterprise when Im out of town and never have any issues. But this location should be closed. If you dont like your job dont work and allow others that need a job to work.

I reserved a full size car unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to the Haines city Enterpise Rentacar place on time so by the time I was able to get there, there was no full-size available, I spoke with Billy and he told me to give him some time to find me one, and he sure did … Billy made my rental experience absolutely great…upon checking back in I spoke to Dominique and that too was a great experience.. I just want to say thanks a million for giving me great customer service and I will always rent from there..

Just save the trip pick a different location .Insurance paid for a mid size suvThey gave us a Ford F-150 pick up truck with an expired tag didn’t even know till we got pulled over switched us over to a car promised to be put in something more spacious whole 12 days nothing was available they even made a little note to call us to switch us over never got a call from them I called on 4 different occasions & was promised to be notify as soon as someone turned in something that day never came yet my sister in law called and you won’t believe they had a mini van and a Mazda mid size suv available . To top it all off they had to extend the rental so since July 2 till July 21 they never had anything bigger then a damn Camry ok..Poor customer service

Pleasant experience. Took a little longer than usual at pickup but likely due to COVID restrictions in place. Enterprise staff were efficient and knowledgeable. Was an easy process and the car was great. Will return for future rentals.

Wao what a place to do business this people and this business do not need people renting from them so unprofessional I book a rental or my wife did and after plans were made now the employee Billy bi the way worst person after taking my info now they do not have the vehicle available beside asking none since questions and at the end denying my rental and without available rental enterprise is an know rental place but after I book whit Billy and this company it felt their expectations I got the money to rental and now u put me in a position that I dont know what to do after you have me thinking that I have the rental now I was denying the service what the America that I live u lost my business no more u guys are a joke of rental so incapacitated people and this is not only I will put a complaint on the better business beurey so they aware of how untrue unprofessional people are

I had a reservation for 11 at this branch. I arrive at 11 and was told a vehicle would be ready in 30 minutes. In 30 minutes I asked on an update and was told I was 5th in line to receive a vehicle and it would be at least an hour. I then called another enterprise and asked about availability. I was told by corporate that they had availability and thenasked this branch to transfer my reservation. They said they did. I arrived at the other location that had no vehicles and said they never received a reservation and that a online reservation would have required a phone call to transfer which they did not receive. An hour and a half and 2 locations later, I have no rental and had to cancel plans for the next 3 days.The employees were very respectful and I think this was mainly due to the corporate system. However, it is frustrating to rely on a company that I am a platinum member of to be disappointed.

Thursday afternoon I modified my reservation for pick up at 8am. With the reservation center. This morning 3/22/21 I arrived at 9am for the 15 passenger van. The van wasnt ready... inside was dirty outside was nasty.The guy told me it was 5000 miles overdue for an oil change.Call the 1855 number back, they saw the note and the modification for 8 am.. (haines city guy Ron or Rob whatever his name was told a big lie)How ridiculous.... whats the point of reservation? Our Spring break plan was canceled just that fast.... thanks... 5 unhappy children 2 upset adults

My wife and I waited for 30 minutes before anyone came out to take our information. We waited another 45 minutes before staff came out to tell us that they don’t have a vehicle for us and that they close at noon so there’s nothing they can do. Even though we made a reservation. The guy that came out to tell us was very nice and empathetic about the situation but that doesn’t change that we waited for almost an hour and a half. Now we have an Uber have to take us 45 minutes to the airport for a car because the other Enterprise this place partners with was closed at noon as well. We did get a free upgrade and 10% off our next rental but now our day is pretty much shot plus I have no interest in booking with Enterprise again.

I reserved my car weeks in advance. I showed up at my pick up time and they didnt have the size car I reserved. A courtesy call letting me know that they didnt have the car available so I can make other plans they wasted 30 min of my time thinking my car was almost ready and they pull up with this small car that wasnt going to fit a 67 guy in the car. They called other locations and no one had the size car I needed and then I noticed that a customer was returning the car I asked for. I waited another 45 min for them to clean the car. So now Im 2hrs behind getting on the road. I brought the car back Saturday after they closed. Got my bill on Monday and they charged me for 3 days when I only had it for one day but turned it in late because they made me late getting to my destination. The manager tells me that they arent an after hour location when I have turned in my cars in the past after closing at this location without the extra charges. She says they changed that in August 1st. Would have been nice if they disclosed that change. Anyway they are the closest to my house so I guess Im at their mercy if I need to rent a car again. Never had this much of an issue with Enterprise.

This place was a hot mess when I got there. 16 people waiting outside with a line to tell whos next. I was told I would be there 20 minutes. I waited 3 hours for a car. The guy next to me waited 2 hours at another location and was given a rental to drive over to get the vehicle he needed. He spent 5 hours at different locations today

I will never rent so I’m gonna prize ever again when I went to go pay for a couple more days with the car with my insurance company Enterprise did not tell me that the insurance no longer was going to cover me for my rental so they let me keep the van even when I should turn it in so I got stuck with the bill that I didn’t know about because it’s my first time ever being in a wreck and have an insurance to get me a rental car so with them not telling me that I will never rent from them again you know what I consider buying anything from their sales lot. I was told my deposit should be back on my card in 2-3 business days. It has been 10 days thus far. Where is my deposit? I’ve been calling to find out about it. However they just pick up the phone and set it down. I’m fixing to go up there. Unbelievable. My first experience with renting a car. I won’t choose Enterprise ever again!!!

Renting a car from this location was not the good at all.I reserved the vehicle and getting to the location there was not a reserved vehicle available. They had to give us a mini van instead of a suv. The van was not ready. The staff said it was due to COVID that they didn’t have enough vehicles. They tried to quickly washing the vehicle but the car was still dirty even though there were at least 4 people cleaning the car.I had to wait 30 to 45 minutes for the car to be ready.I don’t think this location staff is properly trained to enterprise standards. I was not the only that was unhappy, at least 3 other customer were having issues at the same time.

Trying to forget previous unpleasant experience, decided to give Enterprises another shot a year later. Everything sounded like a great deal, location was convenient and they even offer pick up! In reality, the pick up location was temporarily closed for past 4 months, but their website still books for it. Oh yeah, and pick up is only available after 2pm according to branch agent, and drop off at the completetion of rental isnt available at all😂 Once you paid them, no one cares😉Waited for my car to be brought to pick up location for 3 hours, 1 hour wait with customer service trying to get any assistance. I have received 30 dollars discount, just not sure if hours with customer service and wait for the car really worth it.DONT DO IT!

I booked a F150 truck or similar from an agency down the road from my house. I received an email the day before picking up the vehicle reminding me when/where/what time to pick it up. I go to the location to pick up the vehicle only to find out that location has been closed for a while and I have to drive a half hour to another agency. No call or email telling me this prior to my pickup date. I get to the other agency and they have 1 truck which is stained badly and smells of tobacco. They offer to have another truck come from a different agency, however that could take hours. They offer me another vehicle on the lot but it has to be cleaned first and it was bone dry empty on gas. That was another hour and a half wait. I was supposed to be on the road by now. They discounted my rate due to my troubles, which I appreciate. However, communication is everything; especially when I needed to be the road at a specific time and wasnt due to the delay in first traveling further to get the rental, and then second, waiting for the cleaning, gas and prep to be completed. There were still M&Ms on the back floor from the last renter so not sure if they forgot to clean there. Overall...an ok experience. But I may travel a bit further to go with my normal rental Company that has never let me down.

Delayed check in process due to Covid-19. All customers stay outside in the boiling hot weather and average wait time to complete the entire rental process was abt 25 minutes. The Good thing I saw was that the agents did offer free water to the customers.

I had a rental through insurance for 3 weeks and on the 2nd day I called regarding a horrible gas smell in the vehicle and they said they had no vehicles to exchange at that time I called everyday went to different locations which one location told me they couldnt exchange unless it was mechanically needed I said sir when roadside service says I need to pull over called the police and have them get a fire truck to verify if its a gas leak or not I would consider that mechanically necessary I guess they didnt. That 2 locations I had this problem with is Memorial Boulevard in Lakeland and the Haines City location.

There service was terrible, it was the first time I rented a car and it only had 1/4 tank of fuel.The employees at this facility were the worst in my 32 yrs of renting from Enterprise.The SUV had a flat tire and I call the emergency roadside assistance, it took about 11/2 hrs to show up then they requested to take the SUV to Pep boys to replace the tire, when I got to Pep Boys they said they didnt have an appointment for 2 weeks. The tire had two defects on the sidewalls. I called the Enterprise office in Haines City multiple times to replace the vehicle because I didnt feel safe with a 1 yr old child in the vehicle.The reps at the Haines Location acted like they did not care or wanted to deal with the problem.I have to say this is one of my worst rental experience in 32 yrs.

The only thing I can say about Enterprise in Haines City is that they need a lot of training customer service is bad you reserve an SUV when you about to get your car they tell you that the tags are expired and so they give you something smaller not what you purchase they do not have no people skills I know we are in a Health crisis right now but then should not go that poorly for customer service and service in general coming from accompany that price themselves Ill be number one in customer service

After having issues with the Davenport/Posner Park Enterprise, the staff at the Haines City Enterprise showed professionalism and great problem-solving abilities. Although they only had one car on the lot, they were able to get us the car we needed and originally booked (but wasnt actually available at Posner Park)- a Midsize SUV- from the Lake Wales branch.We were very pleased with this service.

Car smelled like dirty wet socks. Had over 40,000 miles on it and it was only 1 year old. It had been keys, there was paint missing on and it had dents all over it. The tire had a nail in it and when I called the office I rented it from theY said” if you feel so unsafe in it we have accounts with Tuffy, Firestone or pep boys and you can take it in” on my own time . The car died in a parking lot and they sent AAA the guys said you need to turn this car in . Enterprise told me they could send a car but there was no garentee that it would show up that day. Never offered a refund. When I finally got the car started (had to get it jumped) they charged me for something called car care 58.85$... it was the worst experience ever.

I would have to say I am completely dissatisfied with this company and the customer service I received at this location. First I was upgraded to an suv when I didnt ask for one but none the less I thought it was very nice of the representative to do that for me. I was had sign paper work before I received the vehicle and did a walk through. As we walked around the vehicle my friend and I pointed out damages that I didnt see recorded on the paperwork and I brought this up at that time. I was then told by the same representative not to worry about it because they had knew of the damages. I didnt think anything of this at that time and decided to just stay with the rental I had no time to resolve it because of having to get to work. My insurance rented the vehicle for me due to mine being in the shop and didnt think I would have to cover my back but now I see when it comes to business with a big corporation of rentals I should have. I got a call from the auto shop telling me my vehicle was ready and I could come pick it up which I did and left the rental which was a Nissan Rogue Blue with an Illinois license plate at the shop seeming as they are partnered with the enterprise at this location. I then had to go back to the auto shop because there were some things that werent addressed and needed to have them fixed. I was then told by my insurance I can pick up the same rental which I did after it was moved from where I left it by the enterprise representatives and I had to wait until they brought the car back to me. At this time no damages we brought to my attention at all at all both when I dropped the vehicle off and when I went back to pick it up. Funny thing is I received a call from a rep at this location saying damages were done to the vehicle 2 days later. I had advised her the damages they were claiming were already there and I had addressed them earlier to no surprise she cleaned her hands of it and enterprise was quick to claim my insurance and charge for damages they already had. It extremely sad that you guys take advantage of a person in such a manner and I am disputing these damages with any and everyone possible because I will not be paying for damages that were not made by me.Advise for future customers:1. Make sure paperwork is Valid and has recording of damages.2. Take photos before moving car off lot.3. Record every rep you speak with in regards to the rental

Extended wait time during check in, my online reservation wasnt honored during check which resulted in extra charges, though those charges were fixed upon my complaint. Overall, it wasnt a good way to treat a customer who supposedly is an Enterprise Plus member. My membership status wasnt even considered at all.

I really appreciate the customer service I receive each time I rent a vehicle. This last time was really great because some how my reservation was not in the system and I did not receive a email. So there were no vehicles available but the branch manager Bianca took care of me which was so awesome since it was my birthday weekend. Just giving everyone a heads up about the shady people at Enterprise car rentals. Orrin had a car accident 2 weeks ago and the company of the guy who hit him set us up a rental car. We had to go through Enterprise in Haines City, FL. When we returned the car tonight after we spent time cleaning it up from Orrin driving it the last two weeks we received a phone call 45 minutes later telling us our $50 deposit was being kept because the car needed extra detailing due to dirt. Well I got a little irritated and asked for pictures to prove this. I received 2 pictures of some concrete dust between the seat and the door. Personally I am quite certain a normal vacuum would have picked them up. Which you should be doing when a car is turned in anyway. I then happened to check my bank account and saw a charge for $136. So I now have been charged $180 to vacuum a car that when we picked it up I watched you spray off with a hose and not clean the inside. Also on top of that the rental agreement I have is for a completely different car than the one I actually had for two weeks. The first gentleman I dealt with was great, but the gentleman tonight was a nightmare. We have rented several cars and have never had a company keep our deposit and certainly never charge me for extra cleaning. I have contacted Enterprise and was told a District Manager will contact me in a few days. Just be very careful when dealing with this company. When Orrin went in to give them the keys the employee told him to drop them in the box. I truly feel this was his way of being able to charge us for whatever. I will NEVER use this company again and will tell everyone I know how they have treated us.

I was quoted a price in Haines City Fl at $131.00 and when I got my Visa bill it was billed for $299.00. I am just wondering why there is a $168.00 difference in what I was quoted and what I got billed. I understand that there is a drop off at another location fee but I was not told it was that high, I was told it would be $46.00. I would like to know what the $168.00 is for. Thank you

I drive a truck and needed to be picked up from Pilot up the road. They came and got me, had the paperwork done in minutes, and i was on my way.Also, when I turned the car in, they ran me back up to my truck.Staff was quick and courteous. Price was good.

Let me preface this review by saying that I didnt read the documents stating that I could not rent a car without a credit card.Im not going to bash this location for a mistake on my part but the events that took place afterwards were unfortunate.Once I was told that I couldnt rent a vehicle that I reserved a day in advance, I was not given any other option but a ride back to my place of origin. I opted to sit there in their office and find another rental company that would let me use my debit card.You would think that the employees there would try to accommodate me, since I was from out of town and I wouldve been stuck without a vehicle, by helping me find some other options for a rental.Thats not what happened.I wasnt even spoken to by any of the staff after i was unable to rent with them.It wouldve been helpful to have at least known of another rental company in the area but instead of doing that they were laughing it up and on their phones with other people when they had someone in need right in their office.Im glad I called the general customer service line because they were actually helpful.I ended up renting with another company in Winter Haven. I suggest that you rent your cars from Winter Haven and not Haines City Enterprise because they are about that dollar, which I can respect, but they might step on you to get it.Two stars for them because they were nice until they couldnt get my money.Forget them.

We have rented from enterprise before and it was a simple easy process before and the previous location was very helpful. All three people that we dealt with at this location should not have jobs in the customer service dept. I cant express how awful these sat few days with these people have been :(

Terrible customer service, rented the car at the Winter Haven Airport location because it was more convenient for me, Geico made the reservation, however when it was time to return the car, they notified me that it was too far for them to take me to the body shop and that I should go to another location that was inconvenient for me. I went to the Haines City office to return the car and they told me that my $50.00 deposit will be credited to my account. It has been over 30 days and I am still waiting for my deposit back, called the Haines City office and told me that the winter Haven Airport office has to be the one to return my deposit. Spoke to one of the managers at the Winter Haven Location and proceeded to tell me that probably the ticket was not closed yet. Gave him my name and the date of the transaction with a phone number for him to call me back, nothing has been done yet. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I will be notifying my Insurance Company of the horrible service I have received from this Company that they recommended. And over 30 days have passed and still have not received my deposit back. What should I do? Maybe more drastic measures? HORRIBLE

I gave this branch every opportunity to make things right and they have failed to do so.Booked my reservation well in advance, speaking to Wayne on multiple occasions. I repeatedly asked him to verify the amount needed on my c.c. for the rental, tax, insurance and deposit. I was assured time and time again of the amount. Well when I arrive that magical number Wayne provided me was $200 more than originally quoted. I reminded him yet again about the conversations we had about this and all he could say was we can take 2 cards. While angry beyond belief I agreed under the stipulation that the deposit goes on my debit card because it would be released upon return of the vehicle. Well after a long week and successful car return low and behold I was overcharged that $200 and my bank still has not released it. Ive worked with the branch manager Bianca who has informed me that Wayne is new and still in training but she would contact accounting to make it right. What a joke. My mortgage payment is due and the acct I use for monthly bills is now short. They have done nothing to make this right. Now Im forced to dispute the charge with my bank.Ive worked in customer service for 12+ years and can tell anyone that a chargeback is more costly to a company than accepting responsibility and fixing a mistake made by a traniee. Looks like I need to look elsewhere for my holiday rental. So disappointed.

I was fradulantly charged for insurance i didnt ask for and a fuel option i didnt ask for. Enterprise refunded the fuel and refused to refund the insurance. I called the same day I saw the additional $65.00 charge to inform them this was charged in error. The enterprise agent stated he removed the charge and it would be refunded when I brought back the vehicle. Well removing it from the invoice that day did not refund my money when I brought the car back, it only hid the charge. But on my invoice you can clearly see I was charged a random $65.00 and that it was not refunded. I have sent them the agreement I signed for and my bank statement and they still havent responded. Now I have to go through my bank to dispute the charges. I even sent them my bank statement and they never acknowledged my concerns. I rented from them. for almost two months off and on and spent alot of money at enterprise. I just cant beleive they are refusing to acknowledge their mistake and do the right thing and refund the $65.00 they mistakenly charged me.

Have a reservation for a midsize SUV got to the store and they dont have ANY cars. Called in the afternoon and still nothing. They told me it will be around 5 pm before they get some. I thought the point of having a reservation so I dont have to go through this.

The agent was kind and considerate. I reserved a full size car. I own a Chevy Cruze. Had it loaded for the trip. Took items out of my Cruze and loaded Kia Soul. The supplies would not fit in Kia. Kia had no C D player. Speakers were bad. Road noise was worse. Not Happy Camper ! Hated the Kia. Not Full Size. Paid & Ordered Full Size. I also feel like they put the hard sell on for added insurance. Really makes you think about renting again.

Awful customer service made a reservation and they claimed they never had it they had no cars at the rental place at all. The woman said she wasnt even sure when they would get one. So why is this called a rental car place? Never going back so unprofessional.

This place is sooo unprofessional, we booked car, called and make sure everything was okay, we asked can we pay credit and debit and was advised yes we could. But when we got there they said we couldnt. They their computers went down because of rain which is underatandable but they they could fine our reservation, and try to quote us a different price and not honoring the price we got quote and was on already on our reservation. Then the manager she was so rude for being in customer service and that being your job on a daisy bases, yet she wasnt trying to problem solve or help us in anyway, she basically told us we take what we get. Also the can they were trying to us really nasty on the inside like it wasnt clean form the last renter. This is the second time I tried to rent from this enterprise and it was just very unprofessional, I would not let anyone I know rent from them. Very unhappy customer

This location is terrible. I like Enterprise but just this location had awful service. I planned a trip long in advance. I wanted to take Enterprise up on their Well Pick You Up service. We called and found a couple locations near our location we were staying. A couple locations said they wouldnt get us but this location in Haines City said they would pick us up and confirmed long in advance. When the time came, I called them 2 hours in advance just like they asked and it was now a different employee who rudely said there is no way they would pick us up due to distance - yet we were only 10 - 15 minutes away. The person told us to take a cab. We finally found a cab company who would would come and get us and drove us to this location to find out THEY WERE CLOSED. This location employee did not let me know they were closing early that day. They said they would help us out when we got there. I then had to take a another cab but made sure they took us to a different car rental company which was unfortunate because I generally like Enterprise - just will never use this location again.
