Dr Amy is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. She’s the best doctor I could ever imagine for myself. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, down to earth, and stern when she needs to be. She completely changed my life for the better. I really don’t have enough positive things to say about her and her practice. Maureen at the front desk is also a sweetheart! I absolutely adore these people and this place. If you’re looking for psychiatric care, Dr. Amy is the person to see.

I found this place during one of the hardest times of my life. I was able to get an appointment, sat down with, Cristina and she was able to diagnose me and put me on the correct medication. I was a total mess during my first few visits. My life has since changed. The staff is friendly, courteous and informative. The practice is nicely decorated and feels homey. This was the best money I have ever spent on myself.

She has helped me so much as well as my family. She is always available & her staff is wonderful also. They answer quickly and you can easily get prescriptions filled through their website. We were extremely happy with Clarity Psychiatric. Our Dr was very caring and spent a good amount of time with us, listening patiently to our concerns and issues. She has helped me find answers and always has my best interest in mind. I saw Amy a time or two for appointments when Cristina was out. She is wonderful. She also treated my son during a really rough time he was going through. I trust them both with my whole family that I sent my father in for issues with PTSD. Amy saw him and was so very kind as he has major PTSD when it comes to doctors but they formed a great patient, doctor relationship. My psychiatrist is amazing, she listens, helps me figure out what meds work best and never judged me or made me feel like I was “malingering” as a lot of others do. She was able to diagnose me appropriately and we work every month towards healing and recovery.

I highly reccomend Clarity Psychiatric Care. Finding a psychiatrist can be very difficult, but not at Clairty! Both Amy and Cristina are excellent psychiatrists. From my first appointment I knew Amy was the right one for me. She is very compassionate and takes her time to listen and get to know her patients. She is very knowledgeable and knows what treatment is best for each patient. She always goes above and beyond to make you feel like you are not just another patient. I find it very difficult trusting new doctors, and it was not that way with Amy. She is very good at explaining everything and addressing your concerns. I honestly couldnt imagine getting through some of the obstacles I faced without her help. She changed my life for the better! Their office provides a feeling of comfort like home rather than the uncomfortable feeling of a doctors office. As an individual diagnosed w/major mental health issues at approximately 17yrs; finding GOOD mental health professionals has often been a struggle. Now at 43yrs, there have been a multitude of doctors, plethora of therapists & even a few hospitals. It seemed an endless endeavor to find a “good” team of specialists that would communicate w/one another & accurately diagnose & treat what troubled me (on & off) for so long. If the aforementioned sounds like your situation or maybe just a situation you’d like to avoid when choosing mental health providers, look no further, Clarity is what you’ve hoped for. I see Cristina Sertway. She is wonderful. Always makes sure I’m confident w/our treatment plans & goals. Whenever my 19 yr. old is having issues, she sees Ms. Sertway as well. I have a boy in middle school & he has seen Amy Carnell for a few years now. She has been SO terrific & integral in his path of understanding & healing. If your child requires extra attention in or out of school, she’ll be sure to meet w/said child, as well as contact schools and submit paperwork for IEP status. Or (as in our situation) bullying was the issue. Ultimately my sons diagnosis required medication to treat. Although my husband & I were apprehensive due to the huge stigma of childhood mental health & the administration of prescribed meds, we went ahead & gave it a shot. I cannot tell you the difference. It was nearly immediate! He was like a different kid w/his behavior changing profoundly for the positive. He did better in school, & he was kinder w/family, namely siblings. On a side note, Ms. Sertway also coupled me with the BEST therapist I’ve ever seen! That’s huge! Overall, if someone in your life, be it family or friend with mental health or otherwise, Clarity Psychiatric Care has you covered. They figure out an individual plan for you that is comfortable & agreed upon. If you require other resources, they have a great “bridge” to other professionals and treatments that may also benefit the overall picture of your health!

Dr. Amy has been extremely helpful and patient with me. Even when I just needed someone to talk to she was always available and she always does what she can to try to help me get through whatever I’m struggling with. Unlike any other physciatrist she didn’t just want to shove medication down my throat. She ordered a genetic mind test to see what meds agreed with me and which ones were not recommended, in order to help me avoid bad experiences with medications through trials and error. In just a few months of working with her, my family and I have seen a complete difference in my moods and overall being. I’m grateful to have her and the clarity team in my life today! I was dealing with a ton of anxiety and phobias as well as PTSD issues and I would recommend Amy to anyone. She helped me overcome many issues I was having and if I couldn’t reach her at the office, her assistants were always helpful in assisting me as well!

Dr.Carnall. has done an excellant job in helping my daughter through a very difficult time. We have unable to find anyone do to covid to help her until thos past month when we went to Clarity and Dr. Carnall took her as a client. With DNA test they told her to take also was an awesome help in seeing what meds would not agree with her system. Dr.Carnall prescribed her Vistiril to help her with her very intense anxiety issues. Today a week aftet taking this med. My daughter has been unbelievable turnaround an still working hard on some other issues as well but Dr.Carnall we cant thank you enough for your professionalism and patience in helping our daughter on a road to having a normal life. I highly recommend Clarity and Dr.Carnall for all they have done. God bless them an thank you. We have had a very tough year until now.

Dr. Carnall has let her personal mental health struggles compromise patient care since the devastating loss of her father. While my heart goes out to her, I urge you to seek out another practice until she is able to process this grief and provide her patients with the best care.

Was disappointed in how quick they were to dismiss a person who was clearly having mental issues, and was in need of help. Tried to talk to the Doctor, and I was told she was not available.

I have a family member who I bring there and have been bringing there since summer of 2017. And, wow, do they care! We see Dr. Amy and she is amazing, real and really helps EVERYONE keep perspective. So grateful she is helping my loved one! Highly recommend this group.

I had an appointment on the 12th, which they called to cancel and reschedule me to the 21st. The day before my rescheduled appointment I received a phone call from them telling me they are cancelling on me, again. Didn’t even have to go to the office to see what their work ethic is. Not only have they wasted my time because I took off of work for these appointments, but they made my needs feel small by cancelling on me 2 times in a row. This facility definitely needs better planning and scheduling if they are dealing with these kinds of patients.

I can’t say enough about Cristina and Dr Amy. Scheduling my appointment was very easy and I immediately felt comfortable in their care! They have saved my life and I finally am having relief after years of suffering. Thank you for saving my life!

Amazing experience. Not only was I able to find treatment for my daughter, but I was able to find the help I needed for myself at the same time. I can not thank these two amazing women enough!!! I highly recommend if you are struggling... make an appointment. It will be life changing.

Dr Amy Carnall has been able to pinpoint the issues my 20 year old on the spectrum is facing and has developed a support system tailored to him. As a result he has recovered his joie de vivre, reconnected with his social network and is on track to develop his future in a very productive way. We have found our son again.
