I have been going to the Gurnee LabCorp for many years. I’ve often had the pleasure of being checked in and had my blood drawn by Dale. She is always polite, efficient, and quick with the checkin process. She is also a superb phlebotomist. I often don’t feel anything when she starts the draw. Kudos to Dale, and thanks for taking such great care of all of us.

Had an appointment today for biometric. Was super easy to schedule appointment online. When I arrived they had a self check in again super easy to use. Dale was nurse that took my vitals and blood. She is great! Very nice and personable! Thank you Dale. Definitely going back next year.

I had an appointment this morning, checked right in, walked into the blood draw room and was out within a total of 5 minutes. Very friendly people and the person who drew my blood sure knew what he was doing. He was so calm and had excellent technique. I could barely tell that he was in my vein (first try too). I feel mosquito bites much more. Thank you!

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending in her approach. Has no decorum and or customer service skills.

Where do these people go to school? Uneducated, mean staff. Ill never go there again.

I would have given 0 star. Seriously under-stuffed. One lady is there - the same person is sitting in the counter and also taking the sample. I have no complain for the lady, but just one person doing everything, is unimaginable. Consequently, you keep waiting in a enclosed space for hours during COVID pandemic. I left because I thought it is too risky to sit over there for hours.

The staff is so friendly! Theyre professional, precise and very quick. I loved how they keep doing their work yet have the time to have a little chat and smile all this while. I have no clue why this place received bad reviews but I loved their service.

Routine blood work. Staff working was very pleasant; however, spent 1 hour waiting. They have cut staff. Kiosk is easy to use but it doesn’t draw blood or do drug tests. Those of us that walk in get bumped because of “appointments”. Opening more facilities didn’t reduce numbers for Gurnee

I get routine blood work done here periodically. The staff is always pleasant, professional, and painless! Hard for me to believe the negative reviews. Part of me thinks that if you want to believe them and not come here, that is less of a wait for me, but to be honest this is a very efficient, kind, professional, place. The staff is great.

Everyone was extremely kind. The technician was an absolute sweetheart. Everything was very fast and professional.

Awesome experience which is hard to do for a blood draw. They saw me before my appointment time and my phlebotomist Dell (not sure of the spelling) was great. So nice and it was the easiest blood draw Ive ever had.

Very good experience! Dale was an awesome phlebotomist! She is very patient and kind. I recommend you make an appointment online and get here 15 minutes before. I promise you will be in and out. Especially Saturdays make an appointment because there are so many walk-ins. Awesome location in Gurnee, I highly recommend!!!! Thanks Dale!

I went this morning as soon as they opened. The woman working was very friendly and efficient! She took her time with me and still had me out within 15 minutes!

Worst place ..went for my employer project’s drug test. The attitude of the staff is as if they are the employers. As per them kids below 9 years are not allowed inside & neither do they have waiting area for the kids. If this is policy they should have it written in the barcode form provided by the employers ..The staff was extremely rude in dealing with customers...even if they don’t allow kids there is a manner in which you need to talk to customers and request them to reschedule along with information regarding the center timings..never ever will be coming here again ..took this place only because it’s closer to home ..will prefer to go somewhere farther than dealing with such an unprofessional center ...

I went for an employment drug test and the staff is completely rude. They have an attitude and are just plain rude to anyone and everyone. When I did the urine test, she dropped the urine on the floor for being so rude. She made me drink water so that I could retake the test. Completely unprofessional staff!

I would give 5 stars but u do have a wait sometimes. Mornings go pretty quick. Staff people are nice. Place is clean. Not the easiest to find but not the hardest either. No one in my family makes an appointment they just go in but always before noon.

Used this place numerous times. Staff may not always be talkative, but definitely are always polite and kind. They added check-in kiosks sometime in the past year and a half, which makes things even quicker and easier.

Staff was rude at front desk and the kiosk system was pointless. Receptionist was pointless. Process made no sense. I had receptionist tell me to go to kiosk. To then go back to receptionist to fill out more paperwork and give credit card info. Kiosk didnt work properly, receptionist had no clue. Who created this terrible process.

I just went to this place today. The phlebotomists had smiles on their faces and were friendly, fast and efficient. I was reluctant because of these reviews on here already but now I just think people aren’t happy coming here in the first place to get blood drawn. I had a nice experience as far as getting blood draws could go. Oh when you call them push # 3 to talk with someone. That was my only difficulty was trying to reach them to ask a question, but resolved simply by asking them while I was there. Hope this review helps :)

Staff are nice but there arent enough of them. Understaffed. Budget cuts probably. Its slow slow slow here. Wait is ~1hr +

There was only 1 nice lady that I saw. The other lady who was working the front desk and also doing lab work was so rude! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I felt dirty being in there. If you have an option of going some where else, do so!

Nice place friendly staff, when in for a random drug test after going to two other facilities that would not do the drug test because the paperwork was outdated and then came to this one they did the drug test but the other companies told me that there was missing information the new forms have that this one does not and that it is illegal to do it with this form .

Friendly staff especially Dale. She made me feel very comfortable. There only 40 minutes considering I didnt have an appointment & they had a full office when I arrived.

The ladies were so nice at the desk and when taking blood. The nice technician Dale was very nice, even gave me ice to lay my head on because I was getting a lot of blood drawn.

Employers sending their employees here to get drug tested SHAME ON YOU! They have very inconvenient hours! 9-11 am and 2-4pm for the drug testing, who does that?? And if you have kids well good luck! No kids under 9 allowed to sit alone in the waiting area for you. As for customer service, I guess they try their best, its usually very crowded and the employees looked swamped.

Not impressed at all. Alice was very rude, and made you feel like you were a complete incovience to her. Held things in your face and said nothing. When you asked what am I looking for/ at?. Her response this you. Yes okay you can leave

I went a week ago for my preemployment drug screen and theres no record of it anywhere. How ridiculous is that? These people are uneducated, incompetent and extremely rude. Avoid at all costs. As this just cost me a job

My appointment was treated as a walk in and I waited an hour for a 3 minute blood draw while people without appointments were taken care of in front of me. I will never come back to a Labcorp facility if I can avoid it.

If I could give this location a 0 star I would. Never will I make an appointment here again. The staff is extremely rude right when you walk in the door.

Congested place most of the day, most people are walk ins, when things start to quiet down, the staffs personality shines through and they begin to warmly interact with their patients and not worry about numbers, etc.

I had an appointment at 10 & they took me in at 11! The appointment seems to make no difference at this location because I was taken back in the same order as the walk ins! DONT bother making an appointment at this location. Appointments do seem to be taken care of at other locations that Ive been to.
