Its extremely difficult to find an honest mechanic and when you do, u leave a 5 start rating. Brought my truck in for an acceleration issue I couldnt properly explain. They were very patient listening to my issue and concerns. They found the problem and promptly ordered parts and fixed the issue. More than satisfied with the cost of the repair. They went above and beyond any mechanics I have experience to date. I recommend anyone In the area to bring your car hear first. When you leave you wont have to wonder if you were ripped off!!!

After being quoted an astronomically high amount to repair my A/C button by Midas (to be polite I will not mention the exact location, but lets just say it was one in St. Pete) I found them after shopping around to compare prices. Not only was the price Midas quoted me nearly half of what I paid to purchase my vehicle, it was 4 x ( yes FOUR times, not exaggerating ...at all ) what I was quoted by Reeds and another local mechanic.Though their price quotes were similar, I chose Reeds over the other shop because of their glowing customer service ratings and reviews. And I can see why. After dealing with people you arent sure are being the most honest and straightforward with you about your cars issues, what they can and cannot do to fix them, or the price, its nice to come across people who seem sincere, honest, straightforward, offer great value AND customer service. Unfortunately when dealing with mechanics this is rare.I would rather give a hard working family owned small bussiness my hard earned money than a greedy, money hungry, dishonest national chain corporation. Thank you to all those who wrote previous reviews for assisting me with my decision to go with them after my extremly stressful ordeal with Midas. To anybody else who is looking for a new mechanic, I hope my review is of assistance as well.

This was a much better experience than I had at another local shop. The work needed was quickly diagnosed, parts ordered and repairs performed quickly. I will definitely be a repeat customer here!

From the outside, nice place. However, when you go inside, completely different story. Took my car in (03may18 with a Chevy 350 engine) to have checked what I believed was the issue(timing). They quickly diagnosed it was flooding and began treating me as if I was trying to trick them (I mean I brought you the car, and asked for help, I’m not a mechanic, but supposedly you are?). I then asked what the next step was and received this response”not without the spec sheet”, something I didn’t have on hand, but could get, however they were so rude I couldn’t even get a chance to schedule a appointment because they both began talking about me as if I wasn’t there. All I wanted was to hear his diagnosis as he started the car, cause I thought is was timing, but wasn’t sure, exactly what I told them both over the phone prior to coming in. After the story, (in front of me no less) they both laughed at my expense and continued to provided no help. I even offered to bring the car back next week, they were dodging it like it was the plague. They pulled the car around and the guy behind the counter said “he’s pulling it around now so you can run outta here” seriously? I walked out but then was brought back in only to have the same argument and I flat out walked out while one guy was still yelling at me cause I told them they were not being hospitable. This place seems nice for a oil change or a minor fix. If you have a real issue, go to a real mechanic. Case and point-when I asked if they could do timing, he said “maybe, I’d have to blow the dust off the timing gun first”. This place and those guys are one star (half or no star if the option was available) when it comes to troubleshooting and customer service.

Brought my Hyundai Sonata in with flashing check engine light. Their diagnosis was a probable internal short in the ECU which would be a 2k repair. I declined the repair and paid the diagnostic fee.Took it to another shop for a second opinion and several sensors were disconnected and the throttle body is missing a bolt. The only codes the computer is reading relates to heated oxygen sensors and throttle position. Nothing about the ECU. Significantly cheaper repair. It’s a shame because this shop came highly recommended but my experience with them was bad.

If you take your car in for a lube and oil change, make sure you ask them to check the fluid levels. I am posting this review on behalf of a neighbor as I service and change my own oil. About a week after my neighbor got her car serviced with an oil change, she text me for something unrelated to her cars oil change and I checked it out there was no problem. While under the hood I checked the coolant level and it only had about an inch of coolant in the overflow tank and the engine was hot so it would have sucked it dry as it cooled down. I did check for any coolant leaks and there was none...

Strange Story. I took my car in as the tire light on the dash was on. The mechanic did not try to ID the tire that was a problem and inflated them all. So when I came back with a ruined tire from driving on it...they said they could not ID the problem as the weather made the pressure on ALL the tires low. Really, that was there story. In reality, the problem tire had a nail in it...how hard should that have been to ID? Did they give me a deal on a new tire? No. Bought a better tire for $35 less than their quote somewhere else.

OUTSTANDING !!After taking my vehicle to another mechanic, they were unable to identify the problem I was having.I then took it to Reed Car Care and spoke to Mark Augustine at the front desk. He immediately hooked me up with a mechanic (Lance Heyden) to test drive it to determine what was wrong. Within 15 minutes, Lance had identified the problem and an hour later it was fixed. And when I say fixed, I mean fixed for half of what I thought it was going to cost.I cant say enough about the service. The entire staff was friendly and actually seemed to care about my problem instead of just writing up a ticket and telling me to have a seat. This place is definitely my new go to place for car repairs!
