Took nearly 3 weeks for a diagnosis and data recovery. Then when I just want to get it over with he says, $75 period, but charges my brother $85 when he comes to pick it up. And lastly, a stripped screw and a gap from where he pried the case open (along with other dents and scratches). An absolute waste of time and I would caution anyone who decides to use his services. Go to Geek Squad or Micro Center they were both extremely helpful and agreed that it shouldnt take so long or cost so much.

My sons laptop needed a new DC jack (thing on motherboard where charger connects to charge). We had been taping the charger in at a certain angle for months until it didnt work anymore. My sons laptop required a new DC jack to be soldered in. It wasnt an easy fix, for me. After getting the part in, he fixed it in one afternoon. So you know hes good at the more difficult repairs that require soldering things on motherboards. My son is now back up and running and playing online with his friends. We couldnt be happier.

I attempted to build my first gaming PC, and everything appeared to be working properly. However, it kept crashing with a black screen, as well as not recognizing my graphics card. I had done my research initially, and was sure that I had parts that would work. I returned a few parts, ordered new parts, and the issue persisted. At this point I was a few weeks into the process and waiting on a number of refunds. I knew that I needed someone to diagnose the issue. When I reached out to microcenter, they provided an extremely expensive quote. It was only after that that I found Bill’s PC Repair (recommended by a friend). Bill not only resolved the issue quickly (same day), but also provided an extremely fair price. When I got the PC back I received a similar issue a week later, and bill not only agreed to help me that day, but didn’t charge anything additional. Currently my system is running perfectly, and it is exactly what I had in mind.Truly fantastic service, that you just wouldn’t get from a larger company. Bill is awesome! I had a Microsoft surface pro II and it would not turn on. I took it everywhere! Even Microsoft couldn’t help fix it. I resorted to not even wanting it fixed but at least get my data off it! No one would touch it! Took it to Bill, and it took a couple days but he was able to crack it open and retrieve all my data. I had many business records and other things that were not fully backed up online. I referred him today and saw I did not leave him a review!

I was told be several so called computer guru’s that my flash drive was beyond repair. I then found Bill through Google search. Bill took me right into his home and very quickly and effectively diagnosed the problem. Bill was able to recover my data by salvaging the old flash drive. He then transferred to data on to a new flash drive for me. The whole process only took Bill about 20 minutes and that even included a good conversation while waiting on the data to transfer. Bill really saved my life by recovering my files. I took my PC to Bill after experiencing a huge slowdown. Bill quickly found the hard drive had crashed and pulled all my data off of it. Unfortunately installing a new hard drive indicated that there were other issues that caused the failure and Bill informed me that it would be far cheaper to replace the computer.Since I was heading out the next morning on an 11 day vacation, Bill offered to purchase a computer for me and transfer my old data to it. He even talked me out of some extras I thought I needed and purchased a far faster and better PC than what I previously had at a much lower price.It was nice to return from vacation and pick up a new computer with my files transferred to it. Bill only charged me for the new computer and a couple of hours of labor which I felt was very generous. He even advised me to call if I had any trouble setting up the new computer and there would be no charge.Im glad I found Bill as he was quick and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend anyone having computer issues to give him a call.

My experience started out a bit rocky. I took my computer to Bills on April 15th and gave it to his son who was waiting in the garage. After Bill checked it out he said that my hard drive was gone. I ask him if he could take my pictures from my photo gallery and put them on a flash drive, which he said he could. Now one month later (today May 15th) I went to pick it up. When I went to pick it up, he handed me the wrong computer, with a flash drive and the bill stating his charge. I told him that that was not mine, so he took me down to his work station and I showed him my computer, but he couldnt find my flash drive. He said hed find it and bring it to me this afternoon. My pickup time was noon, but I got there about 1/2 hour early. He finally got to my house about 4 pm. Now for the rocky part, I had a lot of pictures saved on my photo gallery, but the flash drive he left me were missing a lot of them . Especially the more recent ones of my family and friends, which cannot be replaced. I believe he hurriedly put some of the pictures on a different flash drive just to have one to bring to me. This is NOT acceptable and very deceiteful, but he took my check knowing this, I am sure. Will I ever give him my business again, HELL NO nor will I recommend him, again HELL NO. One star is one too many.

My computer would turn on, but not display anything. Bill helped me at 6PM on a Friday evening diagnose the problem. Took a little under 30 minutes, and no additional repairs were needed.
