Great place to bring your computer. They were very helpful, figured out what was wrong and were able to fix it for me and even give my PC a little upgrade. Great customer service! Definitely will be back if I ever need help again!

It seems pretty pricey they wanted almost $300 for when I called and asked how much would it be to update a windows 7 laptop to windows 10 but then I went on windows 10 website and got it for free. Plus they said the laptop could be outdated but never seen it hmmm. Your pick here

Called and asked for help and was told Im very busy - I guess thats another way of saying dont bother me. Later I left a voice mail asking for a house visit. That was over a week ago. No callback. I guess Ill have to find another computer guy - too bad as I was his customer for at least three previous years. I guess he outgrew me.

My HP Envy had a corrupt operating system. Reboot tested my laptop, verified the hardware was ok, replaced the operating system and reloaded my data. It took a week to diagnose and 2 days to fix which was ok. Charges were very reasonable and the result is something I have confidence in.

One of my automotive clients referred their daughter to Reboot Computers on the word of a local senior center. They had this laptop for 3 weeks and never contacted the customer. The mother (referring party) had to call and check up, got lied to about them having called her daughter. They told her water damage, no good, no charge.In 2 hours or less, a simple heat service was done and this laptop is as good as new. I did it for my customers daughter, no charge.Reboot used to be a place I would be comfortable sending my friends/family/clients, but after this experience, Im not so sure.New owners maybe?

These wizards have kept my Mac running despite the thorough ineptitude of its owner. They offered the most reasonable price I found anywhere for a catastrophic screen repair, and are very quick and very competent. Been here a few times for various computer related issues. All of them being my own doing. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They kept me up to date and called me before doing anything to check and make sure I was good with the price and what they were doing before proceeding with the work. So there was no surprise bill when I showed up to pick up my computer. Very fast repair work and its definitely quality work. Will continue to use them for all my computer needs.

Chris at Reboot Computers performed an OUTSTANDING upgrade to my 5 year old desktop computer. I wanted to upgrade from my older Intel i7 4770 chip (4th generation) to a newer Intel i7 8700K (8th Generation) to better handle 4K video processing and production. I relied on Chris to pick an appropriate motherboard and power supply and memory to complete the upgrades. Chris did a better job of putting it all together than the original company that custom built this desktop. I couldnt recommend Chris at Reboot more highly. 5 Stars should be 10 stars! Took my laptop in just to run diagnostics. Turns out there was nothing wrong with it, its my wifi thats busted. Took about 3 business days for assessment and it was free.

I had a great experience. I brought in my crashed laptop for data recovery after work on a weekday. The next morning, they provided an estimate, and with my go-ahead, the service was completed that afternoon. The whole deal took less than 24 hours. They recovered photos and documents that I thought might be gone forever and it was cheap and quick!Its worth noting that I took my laptop somewhere else TWICE and after days of waiting with no phone calls from them both times (I had to keep calling for updates), they were only able to recover half of my information, though assured me they got everything (I had a partitioned drive as I understand it).

Totally awesome!! My screen was burned out in my all in one, they gave me a free diagnostic, and offered solutions to the problem. Unfortunately they havent found the replacement screen yet, but they said i could link my computer to a monitor and use it that way for now. They did not try to sell me anything that was not needed at the time. I really appreciate that, very honest and friendly and professional. I highly recommend them !!!

Reboot Computers customer for life after the absolutely amazing customer service I just got. Im not gonna lie I am not the most tech savvy person, especially when it comes to computers. I have a mid range gaming pc that needed its stock cpu fan replaced due to it whining and called Reboot to see if they could install it for me, which they were happy to do. After work today I brought my computer in and the owner let me watch him through the whole process so I could learn as well.. Super kudos for that! Then after mentioning to him that at some point I would like to add a second exhaust fan he said he would install an exhaust fan that he had in the back of his store, for free! Mega Kudos!!! He then cleaned my computer out of all the debris and dust that was built up inside (It was like a giant hairy wookie in there!) as well as de-dusted my graphics card. When all was said and done and everything was installed he gave me recommendations on an even better cpu fan for the future, then proceeded to say No charge. I was absolutely astonished!! He let me watch him upgrade my computer, with not only the cpu fan I had brought in but with a free exhaust fan that was his, then cleaned out my computer.. and did all that without charging me a dime. Did I expect that? Not at all it blew me away and actually made my day. You can tell the owner really loves and cares for his company and for his customers. He went above and beyond my expectations in every way possible. This is the first and last computer repair store I will go to, hands down. I HIGHLY recommend Reboot Computers in Groton, Connecticut. This was honestly the best customer service I have ever had. Any future installations or problems I may have, I will be going directly here. 20/10 stars. I will be recommending Reboot Computers to all my friends and family. Youve got a customer for life I cannot thank you enough.
