Visiting from Connecticut and needed to be seen fast. I didnt have an appointment but they still got me in and out in just over an hour. I was treated with kindness and care. I was nervous but they made it easy and helped me relax. Thank you!

Absolutely unreliable. Do not use their service. They make you wait ages and promise to give you a quick response but totally full of s**t. What a fn joke

This office doesnt even deserve a star after what Im going through because of their actions toward me. Im going to make it short. I was exanimated because I SUFFERED SEVERE BACK PAIN after given birth to my 4th baby girl. I was seen by a nurse practitioner and a student at the office. They could not assist me with my pain, so I was referred to rehab connection for PT. Unfortunately, only Dr. Hai can sign any document, such as confirmation from insurance the # of session therapy necessary to help reduce my back pain. The Doctor is never there yet he is the ONLY one who can sign paperwork. Whats even crazier is that to get paper sign, you have to see the Doctor for the same issue youve seen the Nurse practitioner at the office. Its a back and forth game at this office. I was referred yet I was called to be seen and evaluated again for another eval to see if I should get therapy that the office referred me in the first place. TOO MUCH. Its time to leave for good. There was no professionalism... SAD. I thought it was great the first eval. They changed after youve been seen a couple of time...All of this occurred before the hurricane...

Was misdiagnosed..really dont know how there still open,no drs on the site they let you get checked and give you medication from a medical assistant..must me investigate because i almost got paralyzed from there misdiagnosis .my recommendation if your really hurt dont even think bout coming here go to any close ER room..because sometimes its the matter of hrs that could change your life ..

Stay away from this place. They use to care but now it’s become like the old Charity. The wait is ridiculous only to not be treated. My dog has gotten better treatment at the veterinarians clinic than I did here. I’m changing doctors and placing a complaint to Medicaid. Also I never got treated just an appointment card to come back a week later. Yall only about ripping off the government.

I am her now for a well visit for me and my 2 kids. I didn’t have a mask for myself so I put my shirt over my face that said that doesn’t count and they would not give me a disposable mask they said they sell them for 5$ (Home Depot and rouses gives them to you but not the doctor?)I said then cancel my appointment I’ll stand outside while you see my kids they said no. So a stranger gave me a used mask and I wore it not knowing who wore it before what they are at the doctors for but that is what was required by gretna medical. The girl at the front desk was having she was nice but I was talking to the people in the lobby who gave me a mask and one of the receptionist said “shut up lady” I left my well visit was not well

Gretna Medical Center provides quality service. I was going to a different primary care doctor for at least 30 years and stop going there because the doctor did not take my medical condition seriously. It’s difficult to change doctors, but I have not regretted switching to Gretna Medical Center! Being able to see a doctor on weekends is a big plus!! I especially recognize Monica for her excellent knowledge, medical treatment, attentiveness, and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend Gretna Medical Center! Try it, you’ll be glad you did.

Mrs Kim A was absolutely excellent and thorough. She made my experience at the Gretna Medical Center great! Brandi also was extremely helpful and polite. I will definitely recommend that my friends and family come here for future medical needs.

I had an appointment Saturday, October 10th 2020 because of chest pains. Nurse was very nice and helpful. I was seen by the doctor had X-rays done of my chest and an EKG. I was given a shot and was not given an explanation . I was waiting in the room for the doctor to come and and inform me of my results. I was told my prescription would be next door . I was not given any paperwork after my visit nor did a doctor come into the room and my test results or what is going on with me. I left out I was given a Covid 19. Test. I went and picked up my prescription and went back and asked to speak with a doctor but instead the nurse came out. She apologized and she thought a doctor came in and spoke to me. I told her it’s not her fault but I will not be back. I have yet to receive any paperwork .

Worst medical I have ever been to. After spending 2 hrs waiting for i lobby only for them to refer me to another doctor somewhere else. Poor service

I have been going to GMC for over a year. I love this place! It’s almost a one stop shop with a pharmacy. It was the best hidden secret for quite sometime however not anymore. Word of mouth has definitely traveled because this place is always busy, service is fast and ALWAYS GREAT! Bedside manners are the best, it’s always clean and Dr. Nguyen is very cool and laid back!

If you are visiting this medical center for medicinal marijuana, do not set an appointment without ensuring that Dr.Hai is scheduled to practice; he is the only doctor they have that specifies in medicinal marijuana. If you set an appointment apart from his practice schedule you will end up paying a visitors fee just to be told to come back another day if there is availability.

The staff is great. They will call you to the back quickly BUT you will sit in an examination room for over an hour+ before you are scene by the doctor.

Great service, cleanest care facility I have ever seen which is a plus for me. They work with your appointments as much as they can, overall recommend it for anyone, I started making all my family members appointments here because I know they’ll be taken care of. Thanks.

I love that the facility is clean. I have been going there for over 12 years. The doctors are very knowledgeable. The wait is average which is equivalent to other hospitals. I am excited about the big staff.

My Wife has been coming hear for years, when they had the older building. I started coming here when we got married in 2011. Staff and Doctors are always helpful and nice. Waiting area is spacious and has TV’s. It is also convenient to get to and they have there own parking lot.

I randomly stopped at this Urgent Care/Gretna Medical Center last week when I wanted to get checked out. I was having flu symptoms and my usual urgent care was packed with people. I came here and was able to be seen in a timely manner. I even completed a followup with them.The facility is very clean and the staff is friendly. On my second visit I met MJ while getting my x-rays completed and she was so nice. I think I have found my new urgent care and primary care facility here. Plus, there is a pharmacy a few steps away!Im very happy that I stumbled across this gem.

Came in for an I693 immigration medical exam was very quick and efficient and Mrs.Kim explained the process thoroughly which made it easy. I would highly recommend their services for any new comers going thru the same process.

Ive been here couple times. The nurses and doctor are very kind. My experiences here were excellent. They make sure that I have everything I need. Especially, the nurse in the back, Ms. Keri was super nice and helpful. She took care of me and made me feel a lot better.

My first time here and the service was excellent. Didnt have to wait a long time to be seen by doctor. Arrived @ for appointment,and was called in the back in lest than five minutes. Arrived 10:15 was out the door @ 11:45 Great service..

Its way faster once they open. Ive been in the office for an hour and 4 minutes. I had so much time to count from 12:40 to 1:45. I still have stuff to do before my sister gets off the bus at 2:40. Ive been in one if the rooms for awhile now.

We chose GMC for our immigration medical exam and what a smart decision that was! We were operating under some short notice considering that our interview was pushed up by a year and suddenly we needed to get an exam pronto. The doctor and the staff were very accommodating, moving us through each step quickly and knowledgeably. Brandi helped us over the phone a few times when there points along the way where we needed information and she was always very efficient in getting back to us with the information. Thats not always the case in a busy office - where a zillion people are calling and a zillion people in person are pulling you in every direction. Remembering to make those calls back isnt easy and she was always on top of it.The shining star at GMC is Kim A. Really, if you are going through the list of Civil Surgeons for your immigration exam I believe there is no person in the metro area that is going to be as resourceful and on top of things as she is in this office. We needed an outside referral and she walked us through the entire process and had us completely prepared for every eventuality. Any practice would be fortunate to call her a member of their team and I only wish in my own business that I will one day be lucky enough to have such an employee.Cant recommend them enough. We are very, very pleased with the level of service experienced at this location and have zero regrets with our choice.Edit to Add: I looked over some of the less than friendly reviews after posting mine and want to make a point of stating that my review is NOT a fabrication of circumstances. It is an unfortunate fact of life but there are times at the heights of influenza season where any urgent care is going to be slammed and not be able to move as quickly as you would like. In our brief moments of waiting in the front we noticed patients that were verbally aggressive and nearly abusive when they werent going to be seen within minutes of walking through the doors. Each and every time the staff was proactive with patience and empathy while calmly stating that the individuals would be seen as soon as possible. It is not something you see everywhere. Cut them some slack folks, they care about you and all other patients. Youre not going to get faster service with equal doses of compassion elsewhere, especially in an urgent care facility.

From the moment we walked in the staff was great. I came in with my daughter who needed antibiotics. When we went to the back nurse Lucy helped us. She really put my daughter at ease and made her laugh even though she was very sick. While the doctor and staff were great Ill always come back because of nurse Lucy.

M.J is a nice x-ray tech who makes you feel comfortable and explains everything in detail.

Gretna Medical Center is my go to for keeping my health in check. Shana and Kerry are great assets to the team and always make me feel welcome during my visits. They clearly explain lab work and care that I receive. I would highly recommend Gretna Medical Center to anyone who wants to receive the best individulized care.

I like this place very much! 😍 is open 7 days a week, which is very convenient if you work monday through friday. They do labs and xrays on the weekend too. The pharmacy opens on the weekends as well. The employees are very well educated.

Id rather have them operate on my arm infection again over having to pull that super-sticky patch they put on afterwards wow that was painful. Other than that very knowledgeable and pleasant individuals.

Came all the way from Slidell to bring my daughter here. Staff was very professional. We only had a short wait time. We were seen by Shana. She was very patient, thorough and courteous. Shana listened to my daughter’s concerns and then explained everything to us. She was knowledgeable and did lab work. Once the results came back she called and explained everything, the lab results confirmed her diagnosis! This visit was well worth our drive and I will recommend all my family and friends to go see Shana! Thank you Gretna Medical Center.

This place is full of all family and friends. I wouldn’t send a dog there . The staff speaks poorly about the patients . The management is awful and not to mention RACIST . They don’t know how to treat an individual.. it’s clearly all about money with this place . There’s uncertified “Nurses” giving injections to children.Don’t send your kids there. It’s an awful, unorganized mess. It’s not clean or sanitary..

I have been going to this doctors office for about 6 months n I have to say Im almost always satisfied with their services. The only complaint I have is the waiting can be a little long sometimes.

Please don’t be fooled by these reviews because they are clearly fabricated by their staff. No one would be fine with the rude doctors/nurses or the EXTREMELY long wait times. I’ve waited 4 hours before just to see someone: The entire time you’re waiting you’ll be greeted by the pleasant sounds of the nurses outside your room laughing/joking, the doctors talking negatively about patients (especially Dr. Shawna) and other staff members loudly playing music on their phones. Do yourself a favor and find another facility if possible.

I have be going to this doctors office for years since I was a kid I watched them change new doctors and helpers but I do not recommend this facility they started to set a lot of appointments together and take walk ins I was sitting down waiting for a whole two hour in a half in I had an appointment slow slow service don’t waste your time here I ve been here for years but it’s not worth the wait to be in the room for 10 mins horrible wait time was loyal not no more😡😡🤬🤬🤬

This doctors office gets it right. The staff is great. They have TV in the room while you wait, and the best part is the pharmacy is right next door..because the last thing you want to do when youre sick is get your prescriptions then travel somewhere else to get your meds

Nurse Keri was very patient and thoughtful during my visit. She helped to calm me down when she found out I was scared of needles. Thanks nurse Keri.

This clinic is great!! There sometime is a wait, but its well worth it. Dr. Hai and his nurse practioners are spending the time needed with each patient. They are very thorough. Busy clinic means great care. Dr. Hais nurses are very sweet and caring. All of the staff are very helpful. Gretna Medical is opened 7 days a wk and theyre opened late.. great care with accommodating hrs and great staff!! Thats a plus for me.

Last month $60 drug test. This month drug test $60. Need another Rx $60, I did not have it so he told me to go to hospital. 3 1/2 hours at Oshner Hospital for a drug test. Went back to Dr. Hai and he said he does not accept other facilities drug test, after he told me to go. Then he terminated me as his patient.Not to mention he gets mad if you do not use his pharmacy! 😣

Service was great. but i got my EOB and didnt understand it. I went in and spoke to Ms. Carla in billing. she clearly explained my EOB to me and explained the charges so i knew what to expect for when i choose to come in again. Insurance can be so confusing. but she helped me understand so ill no unexpected fees. Thanks Ms. Carla!

I chose this docters office due to the positive Google reviews. I wish I had the same positive expierence that others have had however that was not the case. After filling out all paperwork and waiting to be seen, the receptionist proceded to tell me that I would have to pay a 100.00 dollar deductible in order to be seen today. Id had my insurance through my employer for over ten years and I know my policy. I pay a 10 dollar copay for in network office appointments and the rest is covered at 100%. My deductible only applies when I have a surgery, emergency room visit or give birth at a hospital etc. The receptionist stated that she contacted my insurance and they said I have a deductible. I stepped aside called my insurance and they verified what I already knew no deductable, only a 10 dollar copay. I also had my insurance book with me to prove this aswell. The receptionist stated she contacted my insurance once and will have to go by what they told her. I asked her to please call again because she misinterpreted my benifits. She got very short tempered with me and got a manager. The manager was very unwilling to help and told me she would call my insurance again to verify but couldent do it today because she was busy! She had a I could care less attitude. So I wasent seen today because of a simple mistake on thier receptionists part. Very unprofessional and ill never recommend this facility. I have not heard back from the manager which goes to show she could care less about helping a patient.Update: The docters office replied to this review stating they care and will be reaching out to me by phone. They have not called...

Today Marie (receptionist-front desk) Patrice (MA) & Laura (MA), BJ (X-Ray), and Shana (APRN.FNP-C) helped me quickly. I have great confidence in their knowledge and abilities to help me, as always. They all remember me. I consider all my medical family.Dr. Hai keeps abreast of all medical conditions...his staff are all superior in their fields also.I would recommend everyone to come to Gretna Medical Clinic for all their medical needs.

Ths wait is RIDICULOUS! Been coming here since my chils was little and always took over 3 hours to see a doctor for them to tell me to ait with my baby in bathroom with hot water running. Took her to childrens and ahe really had a bad sinus infection. The renovations is nice but it was all for nothing! SEND YOUR KIDS AND BABIES SOMEWHERE ELSE!

They make you wait forever. I had a 10:15 appointment and its 12:00. No one has come and checked on me, said sorry we are running behind. I can hear them in the hall talking and laughing this is the rudest doctors office ive been too in along time.

They were very fast and work with you to make sure any problems or pains you have get resvolved as soon as possible they are even open on Sundays.
