Best tire shop ever! In and out in less than 10 minutes and didnt even have to get the kids out of the car, you just pull in tell them what you need and they take care of everything. Ive never gotten a used tire and had it installed in such an affordable and timely manner! If I could give them 100 stars I would.

I went to go get a wheel alignment nd left my car there for more than 3 hours just for them to tell me I need a cv axel. I had just put A BRAND NEW cv axel in the day before.. which tells me that they didnt even look at it. The lady at the front couldnt answer ANY questions that I had regarding my car and cv axel. They still managed n aged to charge me 50 dollars for absolutely nothing. They live up to there name (Uncle Sam). They will bend you over and you know the rest...

Initially called Chalmette location was referred to gretna. Was told nothing was wrong with my rim which I was told by another repair shop that it needed repair. They began the work inform me step by step what they were doing. Easy in and out

My first time experience I needed brakes and rotors for my truck. I bought them myself and they put them on, reasonable price for their great quality of work. Uncle Sams is a special place. They have straightened a rim on my Wifes Mini Roadster, Installed tires on my vintage Alfa Spider, Aligned my Spider, Aligned my sons Autocross Miata, installed tires on my Sons beater SUV and aligned the SUV. (Not all shops will align Vintage Cars) Prices are fair and work is done quickly. It is really a no BS kind of shop. It is not a scam to only use parts they sell, and it is not a scam to not install used parts there are sound reasons for this policy. The alignment mechanic is very good, has a good personality and gives sound advice to help you solve your issue ( He Put Up With Me). My first job in life was changing tires for Western Auto before all the fancy machines, so I know a thing or two about the process, they do good work and quickly. The owner is not rude nor is any of their staff, they are there to solve your issues not to become a drinking buddy.

I went in for brakes and 4 new tires. I was quoted about $1200 after they inspected my car. It was out of my budget. So I paid the $45 fee and left. My suv immediately started shaking and grinding as soon as I left. It was not doing this before. Half way home I could not stop the vehicle. I pressed the brakes to the floor with no response. I pulled in a different car care facility that I happen to pass up. They immediately said your rear brake pads and rotors are gone! I was floored! These people put my life and childs life in danger!

Bought rims and tires, great deal cheap fast and good service. Got there and they finish within 45 minutes. Plus They change sensors from my old rims to my new rims and everything was perfect.

I was recommend to go here to get my lock taking off 1 rim. I even had my rim key with me. The owner looked and said i cant do that!!! He didnt even bend down to see or ask if i had my rim key, which i did. I will never go back there. I noticed nothing but men there i was the only female with my kids. Worse service ever, would never recommend this place unless you have no other choices. I went straight to my 60 year old dad and he got it off, Thats crazy. The owner is very rude and he will not like my review but its the truth. I have over 13,000 views. And all are the truth,deal with it owner.

Serviced my tire due to his brother (Sam’s Used Tires) shop breaking my tire sensor and his brother calling him to provide the service repair of the sensor due to the damaged caused by his brothers tire shop mechanic. The manager/owner at this establishment was very rude and accused us of hustling them. I was very insulted as I am a hard working individual and never look for handouts. I believe in true karma and I treat others as I would like to be treated. We did not deserve the treatment of rudeness that the owner displayed. I am only submitting this review to give others insight on how this owner/manager could care less on how he treats customers or referred customers. I can see, from other reviews, that I (we) we’re not the only individuals treated in a manner that was degrading and totally disrespectful. I will end this review quoting the words of the owner/manager “May you have a blessed day” Uncle Sam :-(

Was told that I needed a camber bolt for an alignment @$60. Online for $20 and my car had the originals when I had to change struts shortly after. Was suspicious at the time, but was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Also, the guy at the counter is extremely rude. I thought that I made it clear that I realized that I didnt need one. Crooked tool. Lost a loyal customer. Your reply proves what people say about your rudeness and that youre a tool. And a crook.

This is my Go-To tire and break shop! Anytime I have an issue, I stop in and the work is done fast. They do a great job, the service is fantastic and the price is right. So much less expensive than the dealership. I trust them to take care of my car. Highly recommended.

The best place for uses tires on the Westbank. They have plenty of tires in a wide range of sizes. Prices are competitive, if not lower than others. Fast, friendly and perhaps most important, service. Head over there for all of your tire service needs.

I thought I was going to pay 400 for two bent rims. The guy walked up with a sledgehammer grinned at me and smashed it against the bend in the rim which fixed it. Then he did the other rim the same way. I headed out paying 35 bucks with a new tire. They earned themselves a lifetime customer. It was like a dang comedy skit.

Its more expensive than you think.Theres a misleading sign outside that says A/C check up $35.99, which is really $115.00 when they add freon and dye.Also, the $115.00 doesnt go toward any labor for any repairs 😒.Mechanic slammed my hood very harshly and through my key on the counter so strongly it fell off the counter. Not professional at all

Place seemed promising until I was told that I could not supply my own part. They require you to purchase their overpriced parts. I paid $48 for my part and they were charging $129 for theirs! I’m sure this place is fine for general auto care (i.e. oil change). Make sure you shop around before settling on this place.

Very EXPENSIVEMy issue wasnt replacing an engine and replacing a fuel pump isnt a hard job for a non- mechanicTheres a pandemic going on and they are trying to get rich off of poor people, who already have not enough with layoffs going on. I chose not to strain or stress, just find a less expensive shop.

I went to Firestone and Walmart. They tell me its gonna take 6 HOURS to fix my tire. I walk in this place and in literally 5 minutes Im paying and driving to work. Highly reccomend this place to anyone.

This is the only tire shop i would recommend they have done work on my BMW, Sierra,an my Yukon they do great work with great prices.

Patched a flat tire here for my BMW 528i and they were extremely fast and inexpensive.

They did an alignment on my truck, and 6 weeks later the outside of both front tires were worn. They wouldnt even recheck the alignment without wanting to charge me $35.

Scams!!!! I don’t recommend!!! They didn’t fix my car and took thousands of dollars for me. They took advantage of me because I am a female.

The repair time was less than one hour! Unfortunately, the repair was NOT done. I drove my car 2 miles and went straight back to the place. I spoke to the technician and he scratched his head and said something in Vietnamese accented English.All I know is the steering kept pulling right.The steering wheel wasn’t straightened out, either.I drive for UBER, LYFT, and delivery services. I put about 3,500 miles a month on my vehicles, so I need them repaired correctly.I paid cash and the folks inside we’re not particularly friendly, so I just decided to take the $100 loss and go find somewhere I could rely on.

Uncle Sam Auto Repair offers superb service at a reasonable price. Over the last couple of years, our family has relied on their services to repair tires, change oil, replace batteries, and service various issues for our vehicles. They open early, which makes them very convenient. Perhaps one of the best things about their service is the quick turnaround time. Most minor issues are fixed in just a few minutes. I work in the CBD. It takes less than 10-minutes to bring my car to them. If the issue is minor, I generally can return to work in 30-minutes or so. Thanks again for all that you do.

We were out of town and broke down. Thats scary enough! We were so glad that they were open on Saturdays! We got our car towed there and thankfully they fixed our problem with our radiator with a new one! They did it all within 2 1/2 hours and we were back on the road...They were very helpful, quick, professional and knew what they were doing.We are very grateful for kindhearted people like they are!! The business sucks. I took my car to have inner tie rods installed & front in alignment. Mechanics screwed up my car had it pulling to the left as soon as I release the steering wheel . Took it back the next day the stupid ass owner wanted to argue instead of fix my car correctly. Telling me what the machine showed but you can see my tire tilted out at the top. He sold me a $90 tire for$150 because i needed the tire immediately . Never get any of my business or friends ever again.Paid $450 for bad service. Took my car to Firestone n they aligned it correctly in less than 30minutes. Now car drives perfectly. Only thing am gonna say is the good Lord sit hi, but he looks low my friend remember that DUDE. .

It was terrible. I had some tires from tire rack and they would not allow it citing fraud protection. The reality is they wanted to sell me some cheap tires. Absolutely worthless. Do not come here.

We were in from Oklahoma and our van began acting up. Another business told us we needed a new alternator because ours was bad.We told Sam’s what the other business said and left our vehicle.Later they called us and told us it was only our battery. This showed great integrity and honesty!Highly recommend

I had to get my tire changed on myCar. Hai was able to do it in about an hour. I didnt have to get someone to bring me and pick me up. He is extremely efficient and that is important for any busy person . He is honest and has the best prices!

Their tires suck. Baught a tire from them . it went flat within a week.they wouldnt replace it, but called themselves repairing it. The tire wind up blowing and leaving me stranded on the bridge for 2 hours. Will never go back

Called and asked for a quote on replacing a part. Wouldn’t give me a quote. Wanted me to bring my car in to be looked at. Why? I told you what was wrong with it? I don’t have time to waiste or for you to “find something else you think should be fixed”.

Horrible. The owner has horrible customer service and purposely overcharged me when I complained about the work. I went into this place because of the good reviews. I got 4 brand new tires paid $600 and after the were placed on my car it started to pull to the right. I called them and they said I needed and alignment. I bring it in and they say the car doesnt need an alignment so they rotate the tires. The car still pulls to the right and they tell me they dont know why, take it to the dealership. So I take it to the dealership, they tell me once again, the car does not need an alignment that it has to be the tires that were put on. I call them again to tell them what the dealership said and he gets a huge attitude with me and starts screaming at me saying he didnt even charge me for the alignment he did.....which he told me the car didnt need mind you......so after going back and forth I tell him just put my old tires back on and Ill go somewhere else. He tells me hes going to charge me labor!!! Finally we agree to get a new set put on of a slightly more expensive tire he told me another $200 For the other tires but after were done he charged me another $320. Horrible. Horrible. I paid it just to get my truck out of that place. Would not recommend to ANYONE!
