We came here for am outdoor wedding. The service staff were fantastic. Beautiful setting.

If you’re thinking about hiring Hanna (the person who schedules events for the lodge) just don’t.She is nearly impossible to get a hold of. Three weeks before my wedding she wasn’t responding to emails, calls, voicemails, texts, NOTHING. I had to email her 6+ times before hearing back from her.Hanna also doesn’t know how to coordinate an event. Even though that’s literally her job. Biggest waste of $900. She can’t delegate tasks, she doesn’t listen (half of my decorations weren’t done) and the candles on our tables never got lit.We would also like to mention our refundable deposit was returned one day prior to the due date. It was returned to me with yet another excuse of “sorry, so and so is on vacation”. Ridiculous.

The venue was pretty in a nice setting! It was totally not handicap accessable. I had to drag the wheelchair across gravel and barkchips and very uneven surfaces. There was no grabbars in the bathrooms and no wider stalls. I would not reccomend it for families with any handicapped relatives that would like to attend a most important event for their loved ones.

Despite the seemingly visual public park ambiance and well-kept grounds, Cedarville Lodge is a private social club that mainly rents for weddings, and has several settings for indoor and outdoor ceremonies(with bar-style service offered for both!), a decent playground and enough picnic tables to cater a pretty large outdoor family gathering. The gorgeous dance floor --which feels standard basketball court size-- appears to enable a regular Joe to moonwalk like a pro. That felt poetically unjust! Lol. Lovely establishment.

I hired Hannah & Cedarville for our wedding venue before COVID hit. At the end of April, I emailed Hannah checking in, as Oregon was closing down, and gatherings of large groups were prohibited. I got no response. I then emailed her again to check in. She informed me that they were being flexible and understanding of everyone facing the hard decision to postpone their wedding day. Our original date was August 29th, 2020. In our email responses, she asked me to move my date to next summer, and I told her that we were not comfortable doing that at this time and asked for a refund of our deposit due to the circumstances of a global pandemic. She wrote to me via email, unfortunately the only deposits that I am contractually allowed to return are those directly being affected by the state regulations. If this should continue through your wedding date, I am more than happy to refund your deposit. Go ahead, read that again - she told me in writing that they would refund my deposit.I thanked her for their flexibility and told her that I would keep in touch, to which I did. I was communicative with her during this entire process and told her that I would reach out after our wedding date then to request our deposit back, as she stated the date needed to pass with COVID restrictions still in place for them to refund our deposit. When the date passed and we were still under lockdown, I emailed her asking for our deposit refund. We needed that money, my fiancé had been out of a job 9 months at that point, it was a rough year, as it has been for many of us. Hannah flat out ignored my emails. I emailed multiple times, and she ignored me. This was a regular behavior of hers since we paid our deposit, please note. I called her and left a voicemail, to which she responded with an email. She then told me that … we were able and willing to host your wedding in August. I was happy to work with clients to create custom layouts to satisfy the covid regulations. If I were returning all deposits for August because we were not able to host weddings, I would have returned your deposit. The fact is that we equipped our facilities to enable us to host events throughout the pandemic. You were more than welcome to utilize those services! Which is what I offered you and all other clients, either keep their date or transfer deposit to a new date. The reality is that it’s now the end of January 2021, COVID is still here, and Oregon cannot legally have gatherings of over 25 people. My original wedding was scheduled for 125+ people in August.I am here to tell you that she did not offer me any of that information at the time of our email exchanges prior to my wedding date- absolutely none of that was shared with me. Hannah is the most unprofessional, uncommunicative, and ill-equipped venue manager I have ever had the experience of working with, and I’ve worked with hundreds. Do not consider this place for your wedding, they do not care about anything but taking your money and will just add to the stress of your wedding planning. Please note their sister venue is Rossi Farms, don’t go there either.

My cousin wedding was beautiful. All we needed to do was decorate. Chairs & tables set up for us ready to go. The only thing I had an issue was they didnt let us decorate the day before.

We had our wedding here and it couldnt have been a better spot! So many options for ideas, beautiful scenery, adorable and rustic lighting, and Hanna is absolutely wonderful at helping your dream come to life! She is friendly, honest, and takes great pride in her venue!

I helped a friend coordinate her wedding here recently. We were not pleased with the service that was received. The event director was very unprofessional. She was late to the rehearsal, it was hard to get in contact with her, and she wasnt present on the day of the wedding. Like mentioned in other reviews, if you would like anyone to show up on the day of the wedding you will have to pay extra, the event director is NOT a coordinator as well. Also, when she did answer to phone calls, she was aggressive and did not assure me that what was agreed upon would happen. The venue itself looks beautiful, but we noticed trash and litter around on the day of the ceremony. The lawn we used was also very muddy from the sprinklers being on so long before the ceremony. In addition, there was a misunderstanding on which part of the venue we wanted the ceremony to take place. So when we got to the rehearsal, we found the lawn we wanted all torn up and the event director placed all the blame on the bride instead of taking any responsibility for the unclear communication. The pile of dirt and torn up lawn was right next to where we ended up having the ceremony. In the end, we were dissatisfied with how much went wrong and regret using this venue. It was not worth the amount of money they spent and the heartache endured. Ive worked with great event directors that made planning a wedding stress free, but unfortunately it wasnt the case with Cedarville Lodge.

It was amazing my wifes daughters wedding was amazing the place ( lodge) was incredible nice set up,had great a great kitchen staff with fultanos a very,,very memorable experience

Love the flexibility of this venue! As a photographer and a guest Ive been here several times. Photographing weddings and events here is always a pleasure! Ive shot the property as a cowboy country casino, a chic garden wedding and everything in between. The staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this property for all your events!

Really cozy venue, just attended a wedding there and while cold for most of the day, it warmed up once all the guests arrived.

I was apart of a wedding at cedarville lodge earlier this summer. Hannah was unprofessional and was very hard to get in contact with. A few days before the wedding, the spot where the bride and Hannah chose for the ceromony was completely torn apart. When she arrived she told us that spot would not be ready in time to use for the wedding and that it was never an option for the ceremony, when in fact the bride had agreed with her on that spot weeks before to hold the ceremony there. She put all the blame on the bride and did not take any responsibility for the miscommunication. The venue is nice but Hannah made it very difficult.

I had my wedding here a couple days ago. The place is absolutely beautiful but the management is horrible. Hanna wouldnt respond to calls, emails or texts. We showed up at the venue many times for her to then not show and not have anyone unlock the doors. We were also told certain things would get fixed but never did. You also only get 8 hours for your wedding including set up and take down. When finally getting in contact with her a couple days before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page, she completely went off on us because of how many questions were asking. Overall the venue is so beautiful, but very unprofessional.

This place is a cool place and from what i have been told it has been totally refurbished. It still has a rustic look to it but seems like a good place for a wedding.

This is a way cool event venue. Wish I could afford to put on an event there.

Hannah was very unreliable, not flexible with time at all and very hard to reach. Would NOT recommend for anyone to have their wedding here. After planning for a long time to have the ceremony at a certain location at the venue and agreeing to it with Hannah, the day of the rehearsal she told us we were not allowed to have our ceremony there and that she supposedly never agreed to it. Very unprofessional.

Great place for a woodsy wedding. Theres even an old fashioned playground for pictures and to entertain the kids!
