I have used the garbage pickup service for more than 15 years. My trash is picked up on time every week at a very reasonable cost. If I have to call with a problem or request it is resolved in a prompt & professional manner.

A single family will more often than not have an additional trash bag or two than the can will carry. Emerald will not take any trash that isnt in the can and will just leave it on the side of the road without explanation. I finally called and they wanted extra payment for an additional trash can. They also dont provide means to recycle.

We were using this service for a year, until one day they came and picked up our cans. They said someone was supposed to call you, youre 3 miles out of the way. Mind you they pick up all around my area, either way they go is another one of their pick-ups. So. Im driving today and notice MORE of their cans out at the new houses built down the road. Just wow....

Would give ZERO stars if that was an option. I contacted this company both through their website and over the phone. I gave them me exact address and was quoted a price and told when pick ups would be made both times. I was never informed that there was even the slightest possibility that service might not be available in my area. I was told that some.one would be out to drop off a can in the near future. Fast forward over a week, no can, no calls, no nothing from this sorry company. I call them to see what is going on. Oh, were you not called? Obviously not. You should have called sooner. Excuse me? I should have called? The place that I am seeking services from should contact me if there are any issues. We do not service that area. We quote everyone a price and forget to mention to them that there might be a possibility of no service in your area. But they do ask if your neighbors would be interested in their services. Horrible customer service! The excuse that was given about the time of year is irrelevant. No matter what time of year it is, it should not impact the fact that one should notify the person seeking services of any change that might of occurred, especially if they decided not to provide service saying that they would.
