He was not pushy, he relayed the information on each vehicle so she could make an informed decision. The financing was a piece of cake. Got my car serviced here for the 1st time and I have to say Im highly disappointed. I requested an appointment to get my car aligned, oil change and was asked did I want to rotate and balance my tires also,I agreed. Once there I was approached by an employee stating I had a small leak in my tire and was asked did I want them to patch it($32 fee). I agreed. Once I received my bill, I was only serviced on the alignment and to repair the tire,not the oil change or tire rotation. I was mad bc I only wanted to make one stop. I proceeded on to Franks and noticed my car was still pulling to the right.I went ahead and received an oil change(Im a regular there) Once they finished my car,I was told air had to be added to the same tire that was supposed to be patched(5 mim drive from Toyota to Franks. I was told that I would be charged $53 for a diagnostic in order to realign my car. Tomorrow I will be speaking with management because the lady I spoke to was rude.
I was very quickly connected to the service dept and was able to set up an appointment at a convenient time. When I dropped off my truck (Tundra) they had the paperwork ready. Two hours later I received a call that the service work was completed. I was very happy with the service I receivex.
Reached out to this dealer after finding out they where to be getting a particular Rav4 I was searching for. In talking with Blake I found out the vehicle was around 3 weeks out. Blake was always prompt to answer emails, questions and giving me daily updates the week it was to be delivered. Yesterday we where finally able to pick up a new hard to find loaded 21 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid XSE. The vehicle was for my wife and she absolutely loves her new car. I scheduled my appointment. Upon arrival, David immediately check my problem. After ruling out a possible simple reason for my problem, he had them check it out in the garage. I needed a new alternator. They ordered it, and I left my vehicle there. The alternator arrived, they installed it, and called me when they were finished. Everything and everyone worked seamlessly. I appreciate David looking out for me.

Bad service and lack of experience. I took my Prius to the service because I am having trouble with the fuel gauge. I was told that they would charge me $52.50 for the diagnosis. After the diagnosis they said that they didn’t know what was wrong and I would have to spend 5 hours of the mechanics if I wanted for them to drop the tank. I ended up paying $52.50 to hear that they don’t know.
I was able to pull into Ballentine Toyota to have my tires rotated very quickly. I was very impressed on how they were able to squeeze me in so fast. Thanks!!

Contrary to what you may have heard, Donny Bagwell is not only alive and well, he is still in the car business! He is truly a great sales person who has earned my trust in as much as I have purchased four used cars from him in the last two years. He has always made the entire process smooth and friendly. This is my second Camry purchased at Balentine Toyota. Stan Smith was a great salesman! He made the process fun but also very knowledgeable with all the bells and whistles. I looked at a used car a month ago with sales lady Jessica who was also great! All around Great experience!
They did oil and tire rotation in timely manner but after leaving dealership and getting home i noticed a few new deep scratches on driver door that i dont believe can be buffed out.
I was told that I needed to have a $52 inspection fee in addition to my blower fan which had already been ordered. well I agreed that I wanted it inspected I was concerned that I was going to get ripped off. quite the contrary!the technician discovered the issue was an obstruction in the blower fan and repair it in the time it took to do the inspection. so that was all I was charged. thank you service department for reinstalling my trust --and my blower fan!!
Great service, love the car. The only issue we had was that we ordered paint protection approx $600-700 dollars. The protection was not put on the car and we were told that it was to late to put it on when we picked the car up

Got a simple oil change from this dealership. It was my first one since I have bought the car from a reputable dealership. After 15 minutes of driving my car, my tire light came on and I heard a faint tapping sound under the car. I took it back to Ballentine Toyota to have it fixed. THEY ZIP TIED MY SPLASH GUARD ENTIRELY IN PLACE! There was nothing wrong with my car or the splash guard before this. Not to mention this is the second vehicle they left the splash guard clips out on. Im disappointed. I have to buy a new splash guard due to the damage done to it since they left the clips out.*Update: They called to offer to fix the problem. They fixed the problem and promised reimbursement for the price of the part. Plenty of time has gone by and I still have not received the reimbursement.
A rodent chewed through my cars fuel line, spilling gas on my garage floor. I had to have my Toyota towed to Ballentine Toyota, and I called the service department to alert them. Katie was more than helpful, the car was towed, the service department squeezed me in on a very busy Monday and had my car fixed in a day, even after having to remove a full gas tank to reach the fuel line leak. The service is outstanding and the staff is cheerful and efficient. I highly recommend Ballentine Toyota of Greenwood, SC.
I really want to know if you rotated my tires and if you changed my oil. I see nothing on the paper that says you did. I just see where fluids were topped off and tread was checked. An air filter and wipers is all I see that was done. Service was great and quick.Thanks, Pam Roakes

I would put 5 stars the staff here in greenwood sc is great couldnt ask for so much talent in a group of people....but my 3 stars are for you just to tell me what good is paying for the warranty when I have to pay for filters and so much more out of pocket and when its still under warranty why do I have to pay $89.oo for a technician to look at something thats wrong with my motor when its under warranty......so again why am I wasting my money on a warranty????????

These guys did a great job! So much better than any dealership service department I’ve dealt with in the past. My battery was dead and they helped me get a tow to their shop (with Terry’s Wrecker Service - also great). The battery was expensive, but so was the one they were replacing. Jacob at the service desk spent a surprising amount of time looking for the purchase date if my dead battery to see if I could get a prorated discount on the new one. It didn’t work out, but it was so nice to have someone there working hard to try and save me money.
I had a negative customer experience with Ballantine Toyota in Greenwood, SC. Prior to my service I called and spoke with the General Manager. I asked if my Family Plan purchased at Fred Anderson Toyota in Charleston, SC would be honored at this dealership. The General Manager said yes. Once completed I questioned the bill because it included the oil change and tire rotation the General Manager spoke of and agreed to the day before. I spoke with the General Manager of Ballantine Toyota in Greenwood, SC who then call Fred Anderson Toyota in Charleston, SC who confirmed I had the Family Plan. Even with the agreement and confirmation I was charged for the oil change and tire rotation. Highway robbery. Very poor customer experience. I do not recommend this dealership.
Walked in without an appointment for an oil change. Service recommended cabin and air filter changed holding my vehicles existing filters for viewing. Also found a bulb that needed to be replaced. Like a well oiled machine. Great job and service was performing at the top of their game.

Easy to schedule service and maintenance appointment for our 2009 Toyota Venza. Appointments are readily available. Arrived for 8:00am Thursday appointment and service advisor checked me in efficiently, asking if there were any issues with the car. My total wait time was less than one hour for oil/filter change, tire rotation, fluid and external lights checks, and brake & air filter check.Advisor informed me in waiting room that car was ready. Overall, quick and personable service.Only suggestion for potential consideration prior to final check out is having the service advisor review the areas checked with the customer so that any final questions or recommendations can be made.

It was my first time ever using Ballentine Toyota. I was told it was only going to take 1 hour to cut a new key and program the remote. It was getting close to 2 hours. Then when I got it back the mechanic had oily shoes on and messed up my carpet and doors. I took it back and an employee used some fabric spray to make it right.
I made an appointment to have oil changed and tires rotated. The customer service reps were eager to assist me from start to finish.
Everyone was nice and the service was quick. I can’t complain. The staff were knowledgeable and professional.

I am new to South Carolina and this Toyota dealership, everyone there was friendly and helpful and my service was done in a timely manner.
The people are pleasant enough but the sales staff misrepresent the cars and dont know enough about the vehicles to properly educate the buyer about the vehicles. For example I asked if the Highlander would beep if there was a car in the blind spot. The sales rep said I have heard it beep before. I asked if it had the foot activated liftgate and the rep said, I dont know Be sure to do your own homework before buying from this dealership.
