I hired Mathis to replace some old galvanized pipes that had corroded and clogged. It was a big job and I am very satisfied with their work. They double checked for leaks and made sure all the joints were tight. They also took the old pipes with them to dispose of.I did however, have to ask them 3 times for them to seal the new holes that were drilled with silicon. They eventually happily obliged. In my opinion this should have been done immediately without having to ask for it. When the galvanized was removed it made quite a mess as you can imagine. They did a great job of cleaning it up. However, they asked to use my cleaning supplies, which was a bit off-putting. In my opinion, they should have brought their own cleaning supplies. Additionally, they left a ton of PVC shards in the carpet and I was informed that a quick vacuum would remove them. In my opinion, they should have vacuumed the shards before they left. I should not have had to clean up after them.Again, I am very satisfied with the work that was done and the two gentlemen spent almost 6 hours working. They were perfectly pleasant but I wish they had paid more attention to these small details. For this reason, I am giving a 4 star review.

Have used Mathis a few times for plumbing projects. Always great service and respectfully employees. Great work and prices. They do a lot more than you think also. Commercial and residential. Super job Mathis!!!

Had a plumbing question,called Mathis Plumbing,spoke to a very nice Lady,she said I will get an answer,She did,Quickly,I offered to pay a little for that answer,Mathis Plumbing wouldnt hear of it.Myself or family members have used Mathis Plumbing in the past.Always pleased with there PROFESSIONAISM.

The quality of service was professional, but the charge of $475 for a simple pipe repair was ridiculous. Only thing both techs did was locate where leak was underneath ground, dig area to expose pipe that was leaking cut that part off and replaced and, placed 2 clamps on it . It was stated reason cost was high was because of distance. Clinton is approximately 30 miles from greenwood. Will not use their services again.. too costly....

I did not use this company, but I emailed on Sunday night during closed hours to set up an appointment for Monday morning, and Tyler Mathis responded immediately to see if I would like them to come out now. I found the leak during my panic to find a plumber, and had to cancel my appointment but the urgency was fantastic thanks to Tyler. The next time I can not find the leak myself, I will be making an appointment with Mathis.

Mathis got a service technician to our home very quickly and he was very familiar with our tankless water heater. He corrected the setup and made adjustments on the first visit. Very satisfied.

Mathis Plumbing provided Prompt, professional, quality work and care that the service is done right! Mr. David briefly and knowledgeably explained the problem and provided tips for future care of the problem. Our Problem existed for 2 years and others only patched the problem and it was partly resolved. Excellent service and affordable price

We are very pleased with the attention weve been given by Mathis. We came home Sunday night and our a/c was not working (had been planning to replace the unit). I called Mathis Monday morning, they were here by 11:30 AM, and we had a new unit fully installed and working by Wednesday afternoon! On Monday they brought out portable units for us to use until the installation was complete. Billy, Trent, and Kim were just great to deal with. They were all knowledgeable, personable, and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend Mathis for heating or plumbing problems!

When I needed Emergency Plumbing work, Mathis responded Quickly and handled the problem professionally. After the work was completed, They even charged me LESS than the original, quoted price. I have never worked with a more ethical company!!! Highly recommended!!

I have an under the foundation leak and was quoted a crazy high number by another plumber. So I was looking for second opinions. Luckily, Wayne called me back and even though I was out of his service area he took the time to call me, give me his advice, and tell me the next steps I should take. It’s very hard to find company’s with customer service like this anywhere. If I was closer, Wayne and Mathis Plumbing would get all of my business. I highly recommend them.

I very much appreciated the professional appearance of your technician when he arrived, on time. David took the time to fully explain to me what was causing my plumbing problems and offered a couple solutions. One of my issues required an additional contractor to provide carpentry work. I have a well and the main line to my house burst. I called Mathis and they had a guy out that day. He said the line was deteriorated and really needed replacing. It had been there 40 yrs so I said go ahead. The entire line (220) was replaced (with minimal damage to my yard) in 6 hrs. The price was right and I was very pleased.

Not a customer but had one of their drivers pullout in front of me while on his phone and driving. His licence plate was HFN-659. This happened in Goose Creek, SC at 6PM 6/13/2018 hope someone from the companys management sees this and helps their employees understand the necessity of safe driving.

They came to the church, scoped out the problem, gathered equipment and fixed the problem. They cleaned up, checked in with me to make sure all was good to go and left. Quick & efficient!

We had them come to our home to get our heat pump running. The first time we had to order a $400+ computer part. OK that seems fair. The second time they come out about 4 months later we needed refrigerant which they charged up for $160.00. I can handle that. But they also installed a $70.00 non-programable thermostat and charged us $298.00. When I called Kim she stated that everybody gets charged the same amount because they have trucks to run, insurance to pay and thats what their $70 thermostat cost. What a Rip OFF, so they charge you $228.00 for their trucks to come to your home. They advertise that if you buy the parts you will not be charged a service fee. Sounds to me like that is built in to their prices. So forget the coupons and service fees you will pay out the rear for this company to to work on your system. We have been in business for 26 years and we understand the cost of it, but we dont gouge each customer to run our trucks because that is the cost of doing business.

They are always prompt, professional and they guarantee their work. Only plumber I’ll ever use.

Good quality service at a competitve price...

I had called Mathis Plumbing to fix three broken pipes in my bathroom and they estimated it would cost $800 to fix. I said OK... They fixed it four hours later and charged me over $1100...To make things worse they wanted to leave the broken pieces of brick that they had to demolish to get under the house and they didnt even calk between the floor and the PVC pipe...Lesson learned AT LEAST DONT HIRE THE MOST EXPENSIVE MO FO IN THE PHONE BOOK!!!

They charge a $89 fee to just give you a quote! What!? Thats insane...

I dont hate them.
