I have been going to 5th Avenue Nails at DTC for 2.5 years. The nail salon is very clean - probably the cleanest I’ve seen. The staff members are very friendly. Even though I use the same nail technician each time I go, they all say hello and some know my name. I am always pleased with the service I receive.
Very good customer service. Place was very clean and organized. I liked the work they with my manicure and pedicure.
This place has really improved over the years. I used to go but then stopped and now I’m back again. It is my go to place for shellac manicures and pedicures. My favorite is the peppermint spa pedicure because it includes a really relaxing foot rub. My manicures last for 2 weeks and pedicures can last up to 3 weeks. I like to go here because i can just walk in. They also have a special price for a kid’s manicure if you want to bring your daughter for a special occasion.
My only wish is that they did acrylics. The pedicure I got was very nice. The prices are high but I feel like it is par for this area.
I am only able to treat myself a few times a year to a pedicure, so when I get one at a new place I am a little nervous about it being up to par for quality and relaxation! 5th Ave Nails definitely met that expectation and I am loving my nails. I chose the Deluxe Pedicure ($65), so it was definitely on the pricier end, but in my opinion, worth it for an hour and a half of pampering! My nails look awesome and even after messing up the nail on one of my toes, my technician was so so nice about fixing it for me. Not to mention the space was very clean! I’ll be back.
I came in for a full set of nails. The staff was friendly, however the quality of work was poor. My nails were not trimmed, filed down, or cleaned before the tips were applied. Then women then proceeded to dump the powder on my nails instead of applying it with a brush set. My nails turned out very bubbly looking. I just got them done Tuesday, and they are already coming up on the bottoms. I’m going to have to go and get a whole new set already. Super bummed out.
I went in because I had a bad ingrown toe nail. I kept telling the lady it wasn’t out but because it was almost closing time she wouldn’t listen. Today I’m in pain. Also I had the spa pedicure with gel polish. They advertise the service was $55 for pedicure and $10 for gel. I also got French so I believe that’s another $5. So a total of $70 and when I got up to the register it was $90. No idea why. I won’t be going back.
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I do not recommend it. I was charged $70 for dip powder which I find outrageous, but I was already there and followed through with it. When I looked on the website it said $45 for dip with a tip, so this was extremely disappointing. I would have felt better about it if I would have received a nail job worth $70. My nails were not symmetrical at all and were not the same length. It was the worst dip powder set Ive ever received. The only positives I will say are that the staff are all really friendly and the place was clean.Edit: so perhaps I saw different pricing on a different website but I in fact received services at your salon on June 2nd and my review of what happened doesn’t change just because I looked at pricing on a different site. You still charged 70$ for unsatisfactory nails and proceeded to not even apologize for it. You can’t charge $70 for nails and not even get the nails all the same size, length and shape. Learn how to do nails better, it’s a simple as that. I have a worse image of you now based on your response.
Not very friendly, my nails chipped an hour after I left.
I really thought Id found my go to place when we came here for pedicures. The staff is really friendly, the space is nice and the pedicure that we received was really great! The issue here was the nails. I hadnt gotten my nails done in years so I was a little out of the know on techniques/pricing, so when I asked for a full set and there was some confusion when I grabbed a nail polish color I wasnt immediately concerned. After some explaining I decided to just get a colorless tip set (they only use the dip technique), which was $70. 🙄 - Fine. I left absolutely loving my nails, but was warned that they wouldnt be that strong so be careful (red flag). After a day or so one of the nails cracked (I hit the counter too hard I guess?) and then my pinky nail cracked (dont know when this happened). Finally, today (7 days later) one of the nails completely lifted and came off. The nail polish was rubbing off at the tips after a couple of days and my toe nail polish is already chipping off (I got them done the day before).Again - the staff, great. The pedicure - great. Would I return? Absolutely not. I wouldnt waste my time. I ended up having to pay $50 to remove these and get a new set at another salon tonight.
Nails all broke and cracked after a week of being on and to top it off the lady that did them doesn’t even work there!?!?!? Won’t be going here again.
Ive been coming here for gel/shellac manis for a few months now and love it here! Each nail tech has a slightly different lotion & hand massage technique after nails are done. The manis last weeks without chipping. They have another location in Cherry Creek. If you want them to take time and go slow (like other reviewers have been complaining about) I suggest a payment with a nice tip *before* starting your service. Works everytime in most beauty service settings. ;)
This place is amazing! You can tell that the nail technicians here are very professional and take pride in their work. The salon is spacious and kept clean. They use quality products while spending quality time of service to each individual customer. Not to mention they dont use the drill at all to take off your dip nails which is huge to me because I found that the drills damage my nails and make them thinner. Will definitely recommend this place to others!
I enjoyed the friendly service in a clean environment. I also purchased a gift card for my mom to go and she was very pleased.
Because they take good care of of all their customers.
Our bridal party came here to get our nails done before the big day and we all had a wonderful experience. Given there was nine of us, they were super accommodating and took their time with each of us. Our nails looked beautiful and we had a great time :)
Best nail place I have ever been to! So relaxing. The owner is A DOLL! I have been going here for over 8 years.
I was a walk in and I did not have to wait for services. I found the 5th Ave. Nail Salon very comfortable and the massage chairs added to my experience. The hand and foot massage were awesome! Jane used hot stones and warm towels during my manicure and pedicure. She was very friendly.
I have been to many places but this is one Im sticking with!! They are wonderful and they do amazing work. Ive never been disappointed.
This salon is excellent! They go above and beyond with their services. Very friendly, I never feel rushed. I love this place. No one gives a cleaner more thorough and relaxing pedicure!
Crazy expensive with lack of options. I just moved to the Greenwood Village area and went to the nail salon closest to my house. I wanted to get a shellac pedicure. When they asked what type of pedicure I wanted she said that the shellac manicure does not come with a foot soak or massage and costs 50 dollars. If you want any type of pedicure with a foot soak or massage it jumps up to 80??? How does that make sense. Will never go back again. They arent even that clean.
I had to stop the manicure mid-session. I asked for one type of manicure and they gave me another and I still paid for a full manicure. I left with my nails bare and uneven. They also did an entire shellac manicure on my friend in 30 minutes. Dont waste your money, there are so many other places.
I have been going to 5th Avenue Nails now for almost a year and half. I see Jane everytime. She is so sweet and truly takes her time doing my shellac manicure. So many of my friends come to see Jane now too! You will not be disappointed asking for Jane!
I dont know how you could give this place a poor review, I loved it! Im a stickler for customer service and they did an excellent job of helping me right away and treating me like a queen. Plus my toes look fantastic!
The staff was friendly and the store was very nice. I went it for a manicure but it was unfortunately poor paint work..
The people who work here are a bit snooty. But they do a good job. A basic gel manicure pedi, after a decent tip is around $90.
I have been going here for 2 years now and each time they have done a wonderful job. When arriving as a walk-in they are accomodating and friendly and do a great job.
Worse mani pedi ever. Stylist used small scissors to clip my nails and cut my large toe requiring her to use super glue to put it back together. I’m sure it’s going to rip in a day or two. Also cut my thumb nail which did not realize until today when it began to catch on everything. I keep trying this place because it’s convenient, but have been disappointed last few times. Polish chips right away. Poor quality for price. Never again, not worth it.
I’ve never been charged more for my nail services than at this place and, ironically, they did a worse job than anyone else. Still have unclipped cuticles, dip all over my fingers, uneven filing, ripped some Shellac off my toes and ripped my nail off, took an incredibly long time, and more. Shoddy and poor work for very unreasonable prices. I will never go back to this place again. It was a very disappointing experience.
5th Ave is my go to place for manicure and pedicure services. Clean, polite, professional and the results are perfect, if not near perfect, every time. There are several other options close by, I still go to 5th Ave.
They did a great eye brow wax in a short period of time and for a great price!
$40 Dollars for a polish change on day old nails!?😒
I went to this nail salon last week. I did not have a pleasant experience. The lady who did my manicure and pedicure did it at break-neck speed, and spent no more than two minutes on the massage. She was very moody and seemed irritated that she had to perform the services. My shellac manicure is chipping after less than one week, on top of the shabby service. It was not relaxing at all, as I could tell the lady was rushing the entire time.I will not be visiting again and would not recommend this establishment.
Just went to get a pedicure and she literally spent 15 minutes total on it.... Worst pedicure Ive ever had!! And for the amount of time they spend on you its extremely expensive. Will never go again!
Good service but spendy.
Friendly Staff but terrible work. I have received multiple powder dip manicures from here and they all lasted only a week. The staff rushes through the services as if they are in the biggest hurry. Expensive and chips right away.
Best nail shop ever!! This place!!...
Do not get your nails done here !!!!!
