I cant say enough about the Mindfish team! They were worth every penny. We hired them to work with my son who is a junior in high school. Ryan and his team helped us think through the pros and cons of ACT vs. the SAT, took the time to get to know my son and developed a study plan that was tailored to his specific needs. They also kept me updated on what was covered each week and progress points. My son improved his score by 9 points over three and a half months, and we couldnt be more pleased!

We had another great experience with Mindfish. This was our 4th child to go through their program, each one significantly improved their scores. Three of our kids scored 36s on one or more of the sections, despite being nowhere near that on their initial practice tests. The private lessons are the best, so individualized. I believe they are not just learning how to perform well on the ACT, but also how to attack and perform well on any test. Very worth the money, higher test scores open the door to higher scholarships.

Mindfishs SAT tutoring was monumental for me in terms of scoring where I needed to for the colleges Im considering. My tutor, Mac Wetherbee, was very helpful, professional, and overall a great teacher for things I never knew before as well as things that I had learned in school but simply forgot over the years. We signed our son up for SAT prep through Mindfish in January 2020 in preparation for the April Colorado test day. The prep course was well organized and comprehensive - an excellent program to prepare our son for what we hoped was the only time he would need to take the SAT. With the pandemic shutdowns that occurred, the April test date was canceled. Mindfish, and Mac in particular, was quick to adjust, offering both one-on-one tutoring and review courses to bridge the gap between the preparation course and whenever the students could take the SAT. These sessions were scheduled often enough to keep the information fresh without being too often or intense to burn the students out in the long-term process that ensued. After several registrations and cancelations, my son finally took the SAT in October 2020. Mac effectively helped my son prepare, armed with techniques to maximize his strengths, so that my son achieved his target SAT score the first time.

My daughter just completed an SAT prep course with Mac Wetherbee. Mac is a fantastic teacher who is encouraging, focused, and kind. He provided individualized instruction that was targeted to my daughters specific needs. Also, he went above and beyond and agreed to additional individual sessions so that my daughter could get her questions answered and feel confident going into her exam. The DTC Mindfish team is a highly skilled group of instructors and teachers. My son, a junior at CCHS, spent 10 weeks with Mac, preparing for the Feb 2020 ACT. We opted for the one-on-one sessions for customized instruction/review. Mac was able to quickly assess our sons strong subject areas and put a study plan together for the challenging subject areas. After each of the sessions, we received a summary report from Mac of the previous session and results of the practice subject tests. All of this helped build our sons ACT test taking confidence and his knowledge base!

I felt very prepared for my SAT thanks to Mac and the Mindfish program. They were very flexible in their scheduling and had great resources like the practice tests on Saturday which helped me feel out how sitting for the full test would be. I felt ready to perform at my best both on content and under time pressure which shone through in my 1520 score!

Our daughter is a good student and initially did the online Princeton review for her ACT. She performed well on her first ACT test but wanted to see if she could raise her composite score 2-3 points. We just got her test results back...She raised her composite by 6 points after working with Mindfish Test Prep for two months. The program exceeded our expectations. We had one-on-one tutoring and our daughter said that she feels more ready for college based on the knowledge she learned from her tutor. My daughter had a great experience with Jonathan at Mindfish. He helped identify her areas of weakness and after three weeks of intensive test prep she took the SAT and scored much higher than anticipated. It was a very efficient use of her time and Jonathan was a pleasure to work with. Jonathan was also helpful with subject test preparation and is a kind and patient teacher. They did video conferencing via Zoom for her sessions and it worked very smoothly. She did not have to undergo the stress of working in a class setting where all of the kids are comparing their scores. Jonathan was always quick to respond to our inquiries and sent me weekly updates summarizing their progress.

Kori at Mindfish was so kind and helpful. I enjoyed how she would also offer me a little bottle of water before we started each session which relaxed me. She never made me feel silly if I didnt know something. She was very patient. She didnt correct me when I was wrong but waited for me to find the right answer which helped me feel calm. You can take practice tests in groups like it would be when you actually take the test and that was helpful. She was my supporter. It was so pleasant to go to the Mindfish office on a Saturday morning for my ACT sessions. She made it so comfortable that I always looked forward to them. She was always very nice about everything. My first practice score was a 32, the next was a 34 and I scored a 35 on the actual test! Mindfish and Kori helped me so much! I highly, highly recommend Mindfish, and I often do.

Mindfish was a huge help to my daughter when she was struggling with a pre-calculus course towards the end of her senior year of high school. She was confused and panicked. While she usually enjoyed math, for some reason she had hit a brick wall and was not understanding what was being taught. She thought she was going to fail. I called Mindfish and they connected her with a bright, patient grad student who quickly broke things down for Sierra. Within a couple hours Sierra was following concepts that had confused her for weeks. She ended up doing well in the course and best of all regained her confidence. We also signed Sierra up for Mindfishs ACT prep classes, which gave her a lot of practice and improved her scores. We have found Mindfish to be a great academic resource. She just graduated CU Boulder with an excellent GPA, so Mindfish was well worth the investment from our perspective.

I have done both ACT and SAT test preparation at mindfish. My score for my ACT started at about a 31 and it was brought down by my reading and science. They taught me techniques that dramatically raised my score from a 28 in science to a 35! My reading score also went from around a 28 to a 33.In the end my act score went from around a 31 to a 35!!! Mindfish is great. I would definitely reccomend.
