I just had a conversation with an incredibly unhelpful. passive aggressive agent who had no interest in helping find answers nor referring me to someone who might care about answering questions.
I used to think this was an excellent business that is until I went on disability & they screwed up my Cobra. I experienced kidney failure & now rely solely on Social Security for income. Luckily, the American Kidney Fund approved me for a grant which pays my medical insurance. I opted to add dental & vision at my own cost. That being the case, I was told by a representative at Businessolver that it would be safe to add my bank account information for automatic deduction. I asked the representative several timesvif this could ever result in an over charge & was assured that could not happen as they put clear notes in the system. Well this month after receiving over $1400 from the kidney fund proceeded to debit my account for $598 leaving me unable to pay my other bills & resulting in late fees & overdraft charges. I immediately contacted Businessolver to get remedy & was told that they could not refund me for 3 months! That is simply ridiculous & is a horrible policy! Luckily I was able to file fraud charges with my bank & will hopefully see the funds back in my account soon. Unfortunately the representative at Businessolver also told me they could not remove my account so I am forced to close my account & open a new one. This means I have to reach out to all of the other companies I have automatic deductions with to update my account information. I am not the person to complain, but I think this is beyond bad business! I have enough on my plate & Businessolver has just made things that much harder. If you have Cobra through Businessolver I urge you to NOT authorize automatic deductions unless you want to be financially compromised. I can assure you they do not care about you, just your money!
