I finally found a place I actually enjoy getting my hair cut. Jorge is a master of his craft; he is extremely helpful with styling choices and suggestions if you have questions and will even sing to you if the right song comes on. The drink after the cut is also a treat! I will be back for every cut from now on.

I got there early so I could have a drink at the full service bar, then I received got one of the best haircuts that I have ever received. Highly recommend this place for the atmosphere, and the professionalism.

This was my first experience here, and I will be returning in the future. The atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and classy.While I was there, I received the 15 year experience and was very satisfied. My stylist was Kendra and she was attentive to how I wanted my hair styled and her skill with the straight razor neck shave was impressive. She was very smooth with each stroke of the blade which made for a very enjoyable experience.Following the relaxing haircut, the relaxation continued with the complementary drink. I ordered their signature drink which was the Old Fashioned and it was the perfect way to cap off the the afternoon.I left feeling refreshed, relaxed and thinking about the next time I would be coming back for the experience again.

Best barbershop Ive been too, and stayed with for 2+ years! I have to say Jorge is the most meticulous, precise barber Ive had. My wife asked for a new style, out of my usual couple, and I had no idea how to give directions. I showed Jorge a sample photo, and said, I got it. Nailed it! Not to mention, he is incredibly interesting, genuine, and a phenomenal conversationalist. To top it off, I got my free tasty scotch on a cube after. Plus, live music on weekends and a full bar 👌

S&S is just a really dope place to get your hair cut, edges lined up, and to chill before and after. The atmosphere is a mix of masculine, classic barbershop, high-end bar, and a touch of folk indie aesthetic. Waiting to meet up with my barber, I simply enjoy being in the space, and post-cut, I thoroughly enjoy grabbing my complimentary drink and talking to the other people at the bar or hanging out and sipping while I mess around on my phone. Its worth spending time in, and getting a second or third drink when the company is cool. The hair cuts of course (the most important part) are also genuinely good. Both times Ive had Jake as my barber, and both times I wanted a straight razor fade, and I gave him a vague idea of what I wanted on top. He executed the fade perfectly and managed to turn my vagaries into something meaningful so that I left happy. Ill definitely continue going back to S&S in the future; Ive been considering getting a membership, just because I know Ill keep going back.

Maicie cut my hair. Once we were introduced, I explained my typical haircut and she offered some suggestions that might make my style look better. I let her run with her suggestions and I was more impressed with the cut I received, than I thought I would be! She was polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this shop, and will return for my next cut.

She’s funny, professional, and she goes above and beyond for every appointment.Whatever you do, make sure you don’t stand up and try to walk away before she’s done, though. She’ll remind you who’s in charge.

Jenna the bartender to Ally and Camille were kind patient and so friendly. Kendra did my husband’s beard trim and hair cut and color. It looked so natural and she took the time to really listen to what we wanted and was so professional! We’re definitely going back; we loved Kendra!

This place is worth 5 stars. Ive wanted to start coming here for years and when I finally decided to go the pandemic struck. With this being my first experience I was pleased. I reduced by 1 star due to my appointment starting 20mins late. Atmosphere, service, and drinks from the bar were what I expected. I do plan to come back and hope that my 20min delay was due to an anomaly and it is not the norm.I highly recommend Scissors and Scotch. My beard tech was Jorge.

It was my first time trying out S&S and I have to say I was extremely pleased with both the relaxing environment and the amazing service quality. Good drinks, the best stylists, and an experience both relaxing and envigorating. As a new resident of Colorado I was worried about finding a new place to get my hair done. Lucky for me it only took one visit to find my hairs home 😉

Everyone was very professional while also being friendly and laid-back. Tabitha did a great job, well worth the money. The old fashioned after my haircut was excellent as well. Definitely will keep coming back for as long as I live in the area.

Jorge - Barber was amazing!!!I called to schedule my elderly father for a cut and shave. He has been locked in a nursing home for the last year and a half because of Covid. Now that the residents are free we schedule at this amazing spot! The reception desk was helpful and full of information about the facility, and Jorge the Barber did the best job. My father had a stroke and cant communicate very well, but Jorge was patient and kind. He came out of there looking and feeling like a new man. Im so grateful for this great team of people who helped us today!

What an amazing place and amazing service! You may pay a touch more here than you would with other similar services, but you get what you pay for, which is top notch service and perfection. I went in not sure exactly what I wanted done to my beard and Jake knew exactly what he was doing! Couldnt be happier with the service he provided and advice he gave. This will definitely be my new home.

5 years in Denver and I hadn’t been able to find a good barber until I found Charley at Scissors and Scotch. For the past 5 years I’ve been wearing hats pretty much everyday because of how bad the haircuts i had been getting were. Since I’ve found charley my hat collection is collecting dust! Really grateful to have found her and cannot recommend her services enough!

Kesha shaved my head today with a straight razor today and I had a great experience. I was he last appointment for the day, but she never made it feel rushed. She was very personable and great to chat with.If its your first time you get a free drink at the bar afterwards. Great vibes throughout.

I arrived early and was offered a cocktail(for free!), I ordered an old fashion and I was decently surprised! Considering it is a barber shop, I wasn’t expecting anything all that great, but I was sorely mistaken! My barber was Jake and he was GREAT! He constantly made sure everything was looking good and that I was happy with how the haircut was turning out. Even after he was finished and I told him it looked great, he told me around my temples was bugging him, so I took a closer look... He was right! They were slightly long and could use some touch up. I wouldn’t have noticed till later, but he caught it! Overall my haircut was beyond what I expected here. The service was great. The people were super nice. My haircut is perfect! Jake has found himself a loyal customer!

KT did an amazing job with my haircut, her attention to detail is something that I have not found in the several barbers that I have gone to since moving to the Tech Center. Jorge was meticulous with my haircut. Taking the time to get all sides just right. He is also a joy to talk to. I usually dont stick with a barber for too long but I think that has changed now.

Great place and atomosphere. Kendra was awsome. She even made time to to squeeze in a beard trim even though I didnt put it in my orginal appointment.One small note that is probobably not realistic to ask, but it would really appreciate is if they had a few plugs or charging stations for your phone while you wait for your appointment or have your completmentary drink.

Kendra is personable and professional. I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted, and she copied that haircut exactly. I live out of state, but come to the Denver area occasionally due to family in the area. I would not hesitate to return if I need a haircut at the time, and specifically ask for Kendra.

Excellent service, the barber was conversational but respected if I wasn’t feeling up to chatting. The equipment was in great shape, the straight razor they used on my neck left no bumps. A very nice atmosphere that makes for a good haircut even if you aren’t there for the bar service.

Jake was and is amazing! Just started coming here to get my hair cut a couple months ago and from day 1 it has been fantastic! Jake has an attention to detail that is above reproach! He takes care of all the little details during the haircut and is a very personable individual.

My beard was getting out of control and I decided to give this place a try because it’s close by. We arrived and found the atmosphere wonderful. We got a drink and my old fashioned was amazing. A great selection of scotch is available. McCabe, my barber did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him, the bartender and this place overall. I’ll be back.

I had my first haircut at Scissors & Scotch today, with Jake. I’ve always been super protective of my hair but I was able to go in, describe exactly what I wanted & what my concerns were, and he knocked it out of the park. The ambience of the barbershop was also very cool, and the rest of the staff seemed friendly/down-to-Earth but still professional. I’ll definitely be going back again in the future.
