Went here to get my skates sharpened and punched out after a 15-year hiatus from figure skating. These gentlemen were friendly, welcoming and helpful to me and my family (my husband and 2-year old daughter tagged along). Mark is so knowledgeable!! It was the first time my husband got a glimpse of my previous life as a skater, and now he thinks the whole sport is as warm and friendly as the guys at Skaters Landing (ha ha ha)! I plan on returning here for the purchase of my next pair of skates. Support local!! Thanks, guys!!

Absolutely love Skaters Landing! I have had subpar experiences elsewhere and always try to direct everyone I know who asks to the shop. Its easy to get to from Manhattan, just a train ride from Grand Central and worth the trip!

The BEST shop for figure skating!! Clothes, skates, even random Zuca bag accessories! Not only that...no one, anywhere, is allowed within five miles of my blades with a grinder in-hand except for Alex. He does the most amazing sharpening work, almost like an artist. I wont go anywhere else, or have anyone else do my blades, except for him. Terrific store, wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I really look forward to when I can visit and shop!

Fantastic shop, awesome experience. I called one day before and Mark managed to find a slot for me for fitting a pair of skates. He is very professional, attentive to details (make sure the boots fit my feet, no heel lift, no squeezing, some wiggle wrong etc. etc.) and adjusted the blade position depending on how I walked. The price is very reasonable (exactly what I expected). The shop has a lighthearted and enjoyable atmosphere.Just make sure you call beforehand to see if they have your size in stock. (They carry lots of brands, Edea, Risport, Jackson etc.)I dont even need to break into the boots, no blisters or weird cramps!

Great place to buy figure skates. You get undivided attention by making an appointment. They have a good selection and are very knowledgeable when suggestions options of various skates & blades. If there is any issue with the skates they encourage you to return to correct whatever it might be. .

Mark is the best. Hes very informative and can address all your skating needs.

Helpful staff they know what the r doing.great for experienced and beginning skaters. Just they sometimes dont have certain sizes. Overall fantastic. And this is coming from an experienced skater.
