Just had the exterior of our house repaired and painted by MDF and couldn’t be happier. Our old house had been painted with lead paint, MDF is licensed to remove lead paint with sanding and power washing. Jose, Jean, Gonzalo and Ramiro were all very knowledgeable and professional. They always arrived early and communicated what the plans for the day were. We have 5 dogs and they were also very responsible about keeping all doors and gates closed. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to paint their house.

MDF nailed it! I just closed on a condo and had the entire interior of my new home painted with some minor repairs. Crew was very professional from the sales quote, to the walk through before and after, the added time given to full preparation of the walls, to the cleanup and completion. Hired MDF to pressure wash/paint exterior of enclosed front porch. Quality of work performed by painters/project manager was very high. However, if I were to hire them again I would ask that a project manager attend the sales consultation along with the sales person to assure that the scope the sales person puts in the contract is actually able to be performed. We had a disconnect between what the sales consultant sold us and what the painters said could be done, which resulted in my playing middle-man between the sales person and the project manager during the job.

I appreciate Jamie’s ability to describe the project and answer all of my questions in a way that is complete, helpful, and not patronizing – which is difficult to say about other companies with which I have worked. Initial meetings were on time and thorough, as have been follow up conversations. I remain impressed by the completed work and have recently scheduled additional work through this company; Jamie has offered his helpful insights along the way. Finally, in each of Jamie‘s visits, he has brought cookies for my child, likewise a coloring book, and treats for my dog. These small gestures go a long way in lending a personal touch to this work. I am also grateful for the careful craftsmanship and exceptional devotion to job completion exhibited by Gustavo, who responded in an entirely positive and receptive manner to small areas that I thought needed additional attention. Also—he is incredibly kind and polite. Gonzo lead the project management portion of the job, and I am grateful for his oversight and for his careful attention during the walk-through. Thank you all!

The crew and Jean did a great job on my house. Despite heavy rain on the second day, they got all the scraping and painting done in three days. They were courteous, kept me well advised with what was going on, and did a great job. I would definitely recommend these guys!

Solid company that will get the job done (Deck Paint). I gave it four stars because I got charged additional materials after final invoice. Not sure if this was accurate or not. They also bought five/six separate gallons, instead of buying one 5 gallon tank, which could of saved us some money in materials. Jean, my project manager, went above and beyond to make sure the job got done. I give him 5 stars as he refused to let us down and came back to finish the job after his workers said the job was completed, when it clearly wasn’t. To other customers, please inspect the job after they tell you they are done. In some cases you might find that it is not truly completed. Good Luck!

Costumer service was great. What would have also been great, is if we didn’t need to use the Costner service. My parents needed living room and ceiling painted. The team of painters sent for the job were helpful and respectful but said the job only needed one coat. After the packed up and left I walked through with my mom and showed her so many spots where you can see white primer in under blue paint. Definitely needs two coats. They come back the next day - the second coat is done in under an hour. Great. I come back the next day, wondering why such a great (and I think over priced) painting company would leave paint all over brown moulding?!? Not to mention - the second coat is stilllll splotchy or they againnnn missed areas. Extremely overpriced for the amount of wall being painted, I know ceiling is more difficult, but it’s not a very large room especially when most of it is a big bay window.Stick to power washing I guess.

Our experience with MDF Painting has been a nightmare. They promised a start date in a voice mail (which we still have) and were approx. 3 weeks late starting. We were told that if they could have access to the house 24/7 (it is vacant, so yes they could), they could “bang this job out in no time”. Our contact at the office was nearly impossible to get in touch with and constantly unresponsive to phone calls and emails. We contracted (and paid) to have popcorn ceiling in three rooms removed and reapplied. At the owner’s recommendation, he suggested “blending” the popcorn which we agreed to. Now the popcorn ceiling is literally falling into the floor in one room. As we live out of state, we asked the owner if he would come by on a Saturday when we are there to look at their shoddy work, but apparently, he doesn’t do weekends, only normal business days/hours. They insisted it was the same price to “blend” popcorn instead of all the labor/materials to remove and reapply which we find hard to believe. They finally agreed to give us a credit. We requested just the ceiling be painted white in one bathroom. They instead repainted the entire room (3 colors) which we had to pay to match the paint. In one bedroom, they painted the entire room as requested, but neglected to paint the sliding closet doors which really stand out now next to the newly painted walls. They started priming the walls in another room that wasn’t even contracted to be painted. They painted the attic access door shut, so when the stairs were pulled down, the paint came off around the edges. The utility door was also painted shut which took forever to pry open. They discarded the metal handle, so now it won’t stay shut. We specifically asked that they not clean their brushes in our house (we have a well), but they ignored that request and washed them in our kitchen sink which has metal scratches around the ceramic edge. We had to hire someone to come in and clean up after them not once, but twice. In the dining room, which was not part of the job, we had open boxes packed with all of our wall hangings which are now covered in dust from the sanding. Still finding splattered paint throughout the house. We go to the house on weekends to pack more items and arrived one morning to find the front door wide open. They helped themselves to ALL of the beverages we had left in our refrigerator. Obviously, there is very little, if any, communication between the office and the team. Very little respect for customers or their property. Please don’t get sucked in by the nearly 40 pages of testimonials and the salesman’s glorified pitch, which is what happened to us.

MDF stripped, primed and painted all of the exterior wood surfaces on our 163 year old church, including the wood framing on many stained glass windows and the wood survaces on our steeple. They completed this large scale project in just over three weeks, and their workmanship was truely exceptional. Bob and the team worked thru some of the hottest weather weve had in years. They did a truely outstanding job and were a complete pleasure to work with.

MDF painting recently completed a commercial project for us. They completed all exterior and interior painting on our 55k sf facility. From start to finish It was a very professional and pleasing experience. Mark is a very responsive and great person to deal with. The field supervisor Bob was very thorough and accommodating through the whole process. I would recommend this company for any project big or small.

They did work for me and I could have done a better job myself, They are crooks - they definitely don’t treat their employees well at all. The owner Mark is so nasty and doesn’t know how to speak to people it’s actually sickening. It’s probably because he has the Napoleon complex. He is rude and belligerent.

We were looking to have our backyard patio power-washed as well as our front porch and backyard fence power washed and stained. Walking through our neighborhood in OG, we saw an MDF sign and decided to give them a try. The initial part was easy and they had someone out quick to go over the plan. The second part took a little longer than we anticipated for choosing the stains, seeing some samples and starting the overall project. As we were new to this, we were looking for recommendations from MDF and best stains to go with. After some back and forth and getting through the weather delays, MDF came through great. The workmanship, professionalism and overall attention to detail was fantastic and the patio, fence and front porch look new again!

Perfect!There are 2 things that stand out with this company: trustworthy and thorough.I have used this company 3 times. Once for power washing, once for painting my deck and once for painting an interior room.The people that come out for the estimates are very nice and honest and true to their word. I was surprised that there was not a price increase when they realized how much work needed to be done in the interior room.The people that come out to do the job are absolutely the most honest and thorough people. It is hard to plan a time when you can have strangers come in to your house and paint. I could not be at home when work was done. Because I knew the owner Mark from previous experience, I had no worries about leaving my front door open for his guys to come in and do their work. One painter even gave his opinions about a decision that I made and I followed through on his thought and am so pleased. I would not hesitate to use this company again. No Question!!!!
