It was wonderful dealing with Zach when he came out to do the reroofing estimate. He is a conscientious Christian young man from the start, and spent plenty of time answering my questions and came up with an estimate that was reasonable, especially since our house is a two story house with a fairly complex roof, not to mention steep. I was really just needing an estimate for property tax reduction at the time, but Zach didn’t mind. In the next few weeks I noticed a dripping coming from the front porch ceiling when it rained. I couldn’t locate where it was coming from up on the roof, but since I was working on some issues with the dormers up there, I noticed that a portion of the roof was soft when I stepped on it. So I arranged to have them do the reroofing a couple of years earlier than I originally planned. They were available when I needed them, and Trever did a wonderful job of handling the arrangements. The crew showed up the day they said they would and completed everything that we agreed on in very short order. Rest assured that you can trust these guys not to leave you with a half completed job – that just won’t happen.The decking needed to be replaced in the soft spot I spoke of, but that wasn’t a part of the original estimate since it wasn’t known at the time. That was no problem for them and they replaced not only the decking, but reinforced the support beam underneath that had some rot. Later while replacing the roof, Trever noticed that there were a couple of other dark (rotten) spots in the decking other than the one I knew about. The crew was right on it and replaced decking in those spots as well. I also had an old electric fan attic vent that didn’t work and should have never been installed in the first place, so they handled closing that part of the roof in as well. So yes, they are well capable of handling those kinds of problems. They replaced drip edge and ridge venting as part of the job. After the job was over, Trever went about and looked for stray materials and made every effort to make sure that we were satisfied.They are always there to answer questions, and they always answer the phone, so yes, I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We hired Zach and his team to replace our siding, rear roof, gutters/downspouts and occasionally some shingles. I can’t say enough about these guys they did a fantastic job, listened to our requirements and exceeded our expectations all for a fare price.We just came back for more work, new roof, back steps, and new side steps. I was surprised about the work done to replace some siding that I had. Not only was it in a difficult location, the workers ensured that they left the area clean as when they arrived. RSS repaired the metal roof on our barn following severe wind damage. They replaced many sheets of metal and some damaged roof supports. They also installed gutters to direct rain water away from our corral. They also repaired a damaged barn door.The crews were reliable, respectful, and worked quickly and professionally. Colton came to inspect my roof to determine how water was getting in to the house above our backyard patio door. After an interior and exterior inspection, nothing obvious stood out. Instead of giving up or randomly caulking places, he helped find the culprit by spraying potential problem areas with the garden hose while I sat in the attic to notify him when water came in. After several minutes of spraying and trying to find the point of entry, he found a tiny crack in the siding where the water was getting in. His willingness to go the extra mile to find the leak instead of shrugging his shoulders and walking away definitely earned my trust in him and the company. They replaced my old 5” gutter with 6”. They were on time, professional workmanship, and cleaned up after installation. The new gutters worked great during a very heavy rain.

They came out and fixed what someone else messed up. I told the team leader that I have just a little bit of ocd and he said what ever I wasnt happy with he would fix. They had to spend a little extra time repairing and straightening but they did an awesome job and I cant say enough good things about them. 2 months later and the leaks are all gone. Thanks guys!!!

Zack and his Roofing and Siding Smiths re-roofed our house early last spring. Although we had 4 or 5 estimates from well recommended roofers, we chose Zack and his crew. Zack was very personal and precise in his bidding, coming out and doing the bid on paper with us on the spot, no waiting. He was knowledgeable and practical and even willing to work with another company who was putting in skylights which had to be done at the same time. Zack was not the most inexpensive bid, but his work was first class, courteous, timely, professional and worth the money. They cleaned up really well afterward. Zack even came back (gratis) 6 months later to help with a gutter issue that was not caused by them. Zack gets back to you right away on the phone. We are very pleased with their work and recommend them highly.

Several years ago, my neighbor dropped a chainsaw on my roof while trimming trees. At that time, Zach Potts came out and repaired just the damage from that accident. The price was reasonable and I had no further issues. A few years later, I had a leak and Zach made another repair that was small and budget friendly. More recently, Zach and his team put a new roof on my house; he made an excellent suggestion regarding a roofing product for the back part of the house that would help to mitigate the risk that we found with regular roofing products. Of course, I was concerned with the look of the roof and he found a low slope product for the back part of the house that matched the regular shingles for the front part of the house. I know nothing about roofs, except they are expensive so having an adviser who lives in this area is a bonus!Additionally, I trust Zachs expertise and his character.
