Delivered my package on time,but the driver played around,and left me with a package and no contents. He delivered 2, one was from Target for another person,it was good. Mine was empty,and didnt realize it till he was gone.This was a gift for my grandsons birthday. How would they like to hand someone an empty package? You can see now that I have it inside,that it was opened. Poor Service!!!!

I ordered a few things and it took a while to go from the first destination through New York to the facility in Greenville and it took one hour for them to get my package out for delivery to my house. I hope I can use them again.

Hard to even give a star. This is one of the worst USPS distribution centers. Packages just sit in bins or on the floor for weeks and months. Even local post offices can not track a yellow tag return. Who is managing this? Such a shame the United States Postal Service can not do a more professional job. I hope the Postmaster General reads and quickly reacts to a dire situation at many USPS distribution centers.

Horrible. My package shipped in one day yet it has arrived in Greenville SC and was supposed to arrive yesterday yet it didn’t, hasn’t updated anything and says it “departed” Greenville SC yet it hasn’t even said it moved. After reading the reviews I’m more scared than ever that my package will never come….. it hasn’t been that long since but I’m afraid that it won’t even come now. :( + when I called the number it said the mail was full….. horrible service…… I just want my package. :[

I really dont have the words for how bad this place is, so all ill say is youd be better off to find a carrier pigeon and send your pkg. that way. If I couldve given a zero I would have.

Whenever I order something from an online store and use the United States Postal Service, it always goes to this distribution center. I end up waiting a couple of days to a week to receive the item. Right now, Im waiting on a very meaningful package to come from this place. Its already been sitting there for 2 days so I guess Ill just have to wait.

Sent a Certified Letter to someone in Simpsonville and it says it has been in transit at the Greenville Plant since it arrived there on May 7th. Today is June 25th. Have made a number of calls and sent e-mails. NOBODY WILL RESPOND. Its like they know there is a huge problem and no one is willing to address it. I think next step is Postmaster Inspector to get them to investigate. Actually giving them 1 star is too much. And employees of the USPS wonder why people want to close the Post Office and privatize the function.

Ordered a package With priority mail (which means it can be delivered Sundays) my package has been sitting at the center for 2 days and it still hasn’t moved. Now it says my package will be late. Why did I pay more money for priority yet my package isn’t even coming with that priority shipping?

Whenever I see one of my packages have to travel through the Greenville USPS Distribution Center, I automatically know my package will be late. There will be no doubt. If this were a private business, it would already be out of business. Absolutely terrible service and everyone know it.

This place is a pitiful excuse for a distribution center. I have a package that moved from Illinois to Tennessee to here in the same day. It’s know been in Greenville for 5 days. It happens every time I expect a package. Every other distribution center is fine except this one. It’s like it’s in the abyss! Soooooo aggravating! One would think the USPS would do something about this place!

Mail sets at this center for days before being forwarded to next center. Greensboro and Greenville SC are two of the slowest distribution centers. However Greensboro is getting better, Greenville SC is not.

Life Hack - If you would like free storage just ship through the USPS Greenville distribution center as they will gladly hold on to your shipment for weeks/months on end. All at NO CHARGE over the cost of a stamp.Seriously, this place needs accountability and/or competent management as it would be out of business if this were a private enterprise.

Same issue here as many others. Priority Mail package reached this distribution center and has been sitting there for a week with no movement. Tried calling the number and goes straight to a mailbox is full message.Mine is just a Christmas gift but others have more important things to receive that they depend on. Not sure whats going on at this distribution center, but this is just embarrassing.

We sent time 3 sensitive packages to there and they’re all stuck there. All the website is showing us is that it’s in transit, well no kidding! This has happened once before and the package broke when it came to this distribution center. This is a joke.

Anytime something is being shipped with the usps and it gets to this location, go ahead and expect it to sit here for a day or two. Whatever your delivery date is, add 2 or 3 days to it before it arrives. I understand high volume and what not but sitting in the same location for days on end is a little ridiculous.

My Priority package tracking shows it spent 56 hours transiting within the same facility - whats that about? Unfortunate this facility continues to have poor performance.

So same as others I see. I have had a priority package sitting at this distribution center. I am one city over in Simpsonville. This is so frustrating as I absolutely need this by Christmas and there is no way to get another in time. I understand that the virus is affecting businesses, but this is just ridiculous. All of the other couriers are managing to get packages to people in a timely manner. Maybe one or 2 days late. My package has now been sitting since 12/12. They need to send in reinforcements somehow.

I check to see where my package is and it say it was in atlanta (literally an hour away from me) then i check to see if it arrived at the facility in my city and it says it went to greenville.. it was scheduled to come today but now since being there the expected delivery date has been removed.. i don’t understand why i’ve been waiting so long for this package to arrive and based on the reviews it seems like im gonna have to wait longer

Ordered from usps first class and got it almost a week later, my package was in the building like a day or two. I wouldve given a 5 star if it wasnt for how many people that dont get packages because of this place.

Have had my package since 8:30 last night and I live 40 minutes away from them. Instead of delivering package early like normal distribution centers would, this place would rather hold on to it for a few extra days. WHY? Laziness is why. This has got to be the worst USPS distribution center in the country. Nothing but lazy uncaring its just a job to them employees. Make the whole company look bad.

Apparently people have had their package held here for weeks on end, but both of the packages I ordered at different times both came and left this place in under 24 hours. 4 stars because of people unable to obtain their packages.

I dread seeing my package accepted to this center because I know I can expect it at least 1-2 weeks late without fail. This has been an ongoing issue at this center that USPS seems to continue to sweep under the rug. So just a heads up to any of those looking for answers, expect your package to be late.

It’s like nobody wants to work there. My package has just been sitting there and was supposed to be delivered two days ago. Terrible service, won’t answer the phone and their mailbox is full (I wonder why???). Terrible terrible place.

So I run an embroidery business and needed to ship some completed product to another company only 45 miles away. I am too busy to stop and deliver myself so shipped priority. The package left Seneca SC on Nov 30 at 10:00 am. It arrived at the Greenville SC distribution center at 7:45 pm on that same day. It has been 8 days stuck at the distribution center. I tried to call and the phone mail box is full and a recording said to call the origination post office. I called Seneca SC and the clerk told me that this is the way it is. Priority 2-day delivery is an approximation not a promise. The package will eventually arrive. Seriously, I could pay someone to deliver local packages for me. This is making my services look poor because the USPS will not hold up their end of the deal.

Do not use usps if you have a choice use anything other then usps. They have had my package for a extra 4 days 6 days total I paid 15.00 extra for 2 day shipping and they dont even care nor do they have a phone to answer. So if your package goes here its gonna be a long time! Use (ups) and (fedex) they are the best

Poorly managed facility. I had a package arrive at this facility on March 30 at 3:00pm. It is April 2 and still the package has yet to leave the facility. The package was scheduled to be delivered today, April 2 and of course it did not arrive. I asked my mail carrier why the delay and she said she personally had a package sit at this facility for a week before it moved. This facility is literally 15 miles from my house. I hate I have to even give them one star to post this review. Ridiculous!

Having the same issues as everyone else. Order some gifts early December and still have yet to receive or even get an update on the package. I don’t mind the hold up if there was some form of communication on why the delay is happening.

Package has been sitting here since 1/22. 10 days. No one at usps customer service is helpful. From the reviews Im seeing, Im not very hopeful. Why isnt anyone being held accountable? Terrible. I like USPS, and I support the Post Office over FedEx and UPS (also have my fair share of problems with them), however, this has to be the most mismanaged, slowest sorting facility. Since they closed the Asheville office, now I have to wait for packages to go through here. I’ve had numerous damaged, and for the ones which do arrive, they often just sit in SC. I just done get it.

This facility is responsible for the delay of mail for a LOT of people nationwide. There’s zero accountability. People are depending on the mail for their medication, their living, their lives... this place does NOT honor any of that.The fact that they willingly disregard their duty as federal mail employees is bad enough, but they also negatively affect the lives of the people that trusted them to do their jobs in the first place.I wish I lived closer so I could just go pick up my mail. They should be ashamed and that facility should be shut down immediately.

Sent a package to my friends daughter. It had been sitting in this building since March 3rd, its March 20th, and still no update. I dont know what type of business you all are attempting to run but this is very unprofessional. And f.y.i packages just dont disappear or get lost.

I have several packages to be delivered and they both have been at the Greenville Distribution Center since 12/8/2020. One is being delivered today (finally) and the main one that is for my Moms 83rd birthday (TODAY!!!) and its STILL at this facility! This package was purchased on 11/29/2020 so Itd get here in time for my moms birthday. It stayed at the METRO NY DISTRIBUTION CENTER from 11/30/2020 until 12/8/2020. It didnt take but a little over 17 1/2 hours to get to the Greenville facility and scanned in. I guess USPS had to prove me wrong!! I know its The busiest time of the year but good grief this is ridiculous!

Even after Christmas my packages sit here for days upon days with no signs of moving!! What’s going on? Hire some people. For packages to just sit here for 3-5 days (sometimes longer) is inexcusable. I think it’d be quicker if I make the 3-4 hr drive once a week and pick them up myself. The second they get to Greenville jump in my car and drive... I’d get them 4-5 days sooner... maybe getting rid of the place in Asheville was a big mistake seeing as how everyone is ordering online now.. just saying.. seems to me that usps would be expanding not decreasing.

I receive my payroll checks by mail. Over the last month I do not receive my packages on time. I pay 30 per month to receive priority, but it is delivered consistently late. I am supposed to be paid on friday so my employer mails my package by tuesday. Once my check was sent to California. By the time it was rerouted it was time to get paid again. Never ending cycle with this place! I understand they are busy but its called priority fir a reason!

Thats what Glassdoor is for.Among the many shipments that have had the misfortune of passing through this facility Ill only speak to my last 3:Package 1 left Knoxville on 10/8 and arrived at Greenville later the same day. 14 hours later, 10/9, it was in NJ. Their goof ups apparently move through the system faster. I finally received it on 10/15 after it passed through Philadelphia.Package 2 leaves Caro, MI on 10/19. The package is in and out of Detroit, MI AND Indianpolis, IN on 10/20 all in less than 12 hours. It arrives at Greenville on 10/21 at 10:37am and there it continues to sit.Package 3 left Raleigh, NC on 10/21 after being there for less than 6 hours. It arrived at Greenville on 10/21 at 9:33am and there it still sits.How is it that Greenville, with a population of ~71, 171 can’t process a package in less than 𝟺̶𝟾̶ 72 hours, but Detroit (pop: ~667,272), Indianapolis (pop: ~875,929), and Raleigh (pop: ~481,958) can “in and out” a package in an average of about 7 hours?On to the reviews. Not including mine, there are 138 total. Of those 14 are confirmed employees, 6 (not blank) are very likely affiliates or also employees, 5 are drivers, 52 are blank, and finally only 58 are confirmed indirect customers as this isn’t a direct contact facility. Of the 52 blank reviews only 44 are 3 stars or higher and I think it’s safe to assume the majority of those are also employees or their affiliates. Of the 58 customer reviews, only 1 is above 1 star. Very telling. Long story short, this place needs an overhaul, but that’s unlikely. What’s likely is they’ll continue to increase their budget saying they need more of this or more of that to properly do their job, when in reality changing a few key leadership roles and holding employees accountable would have a tremendous impact if not completely fix the issue(s).Anyway, if youve read this far and wouldn’t mind enduring the torture for a few more minutes, Id encourage you to report any of the verifiable employee reviews as conflict of interest as I have done. I would give negative stars if I could. This should not be allowed to be operated as a USPS. It is just a terribly run business that is causing the demise of small shop owners like myself. I ordered my package from Florida’s over 2 weeks ago. It was coming from Florida and was moving fine until the package hit Greenville. It was supposed to be delivered on Dec 7th, but has been delayed and has been sitting in Greenville for over 11 days now. Very frustrated with USPS. Mailed a Halloween package to both my sons. One in NYC, one in Greenville, SC. The NYC package was delivered within 4 days including a Sunday. The Greenville, SC package has been sitting in this distribution center (in Greenville! The town of its destination!) for a week. And counting. Tried to call the number at the distribution center & got a message that “the mailbox was full and not accepting messages.” The irony isn’t lost on me. USPS Tracking doesn’t help when your package isn’t moving! It’s like tracking a rock in your yard...hmmm, yes, still there.

Package was sent there by Amazon. it has been sitting there with no movement for days. The USPS tracking keeps saying I will be getting it the next day. Unfortunately it says that every day. Amazon shows package has not moved since it arrived. Reported to Amazon they are sending it again. I asked them to please not use the USPS. It is the Administration fault. Not the workers.Big suprise I finally received package. After sitting in South Carolina it arrived yesterday at 6 a.m. at the Denver Distribution Center. I received it from them in 25 hours.

My package left the Charleston processing facility on the morning of Dec 16 (for a Dec 17 delivery) and arrived at the Greenville processing facility that afternoon. After that? Crickets. One post on the 20th stating package arriving late; in transit. So, it has been sitting at the Greenville processing facility for an entire week now. I mailed 5 other packages the same day. All of them have been delivered. (3 in other states; 2 in other cities in SC) A couple of days past the promised delivery date is understandable. 7 days and counting with no end in sight? Unprofessional. They dont answer their phones. The post office in Charleston told me to either call their 800 number or go online for information. Both are completely useless. Using the pandemic is nothing more than a lame excuse.

Ordered essential gear for camping in bear country in below freezing weather, shipped first class. My trip is tomorrow and the items have been sitting here for a week even after saying they were on the truck out for delivery. No wonder people want the government to defund the USPS, absolutely awful and no excuse. They say it’s related to covid but if that’s the case why are my Amazon, UPS and FedEx packages arriving with no issue? Also, why is it they have no issue sorting and delivering junk mail but leave packages sitting around for weeks?

I have had two packages sitting at this facility since 12/8 with no movement. I’ve filed missing mail claims on both and my local post office has sent emails to the center to try to locate my packages to get them moving and still NO results. From now on I’ll make sure to pay for extra shipping just to bypass this facility.

I have a package that was suppose to be delivered on 1-15-21 and did not arrive. The package has been at the Greenville distribution center since the 13th and I live only 1hr 10min away. My local phone company sent everyones phone bills out and they didnt arrive until the due date of the bills. This place is pathetic! Someone needs to get with the program and get things moving!

I am EXTREMELY upset with The Greenville Distribution Center! I totally understand that COVID has slowed some things down but I ordered 2 pair of shoes from footlocker on November 27th, BOTH pair reached the Greenville Distribution Center on December 3 @ 11:44PM. One pair of shoes were delivered to my home in Powdserville on December 6th, I AM STILL WAITING ON THE 2ND PAIR! They have been in transit at this center since December 8th! Still have 4 packages sitting in this distribution center...one was shipped on December 2nd, two were shipped on December 11th, and one on the 14th. Really sad news for my little business, very disappointed that they dropped the ball...or dropped my packages behind a bin?

UPS dropped my package off at the Greenville Distribution Center on Nov.19th. Today is Dec. 10th and my packag3 has yet to be scanned by the Center. I would drive 2 hours to pick it up but I cannot verify if I would be able to pick it up. Their voice mailbox is full so I cant even leave a message. Guess Im in the same boat as a lot of other folks. Its so frustrating to say the least. Next time I order something I will make sure I have it overnighted for an extra fee and bypass USPS. I have had things that were classified as lost that finally showed up a week after they were supposed too. I have never had a package arrive on time from Greenville distribution center— they are worse around the holidays (id give them a -5 around the holidays) and now i have a package they sent to greenboro?! This places deserves a big fat 0, how is my package “in transit” and sitting in the same spot for a week. Clearly somebody in there stealing people’s stuff. From experience in ordering online and living in bear country I’ve always allowed myself with enough time for my online shopping in the unfortunate event it ships via USPS. I ordered my packages well over 2 + weeks before hand with an expected arrivals within 4 days. Yeah right ! My packages have been siting in Greenville for almost 10days now and still waiting and nothing can be done at this point.

I am so so very thankful and happy with the service I received here. I have spent all day tracking my baby chicks coming from Iowa. Each stop in different states I tracked down and I called and they could not give me hardily any info and were at times rude and mean. Finally when I called Greenville Distribution Center everyone was nice and friendly and understood my concern. They were determined to help me find them. If they did not know the answer they found another person who could. That is when I spoke to Mr. William Cunningham at this center. He is a supervisor at the dock and helped me find them and get them. I am so very thankful for him and his compassion and understanding on how important these special baby chicks are to me and my children. He literally saved them from dying!!

I would be glad to come and pick it up there but can not get anyone to answer the phone..I usually get my meds through the mail and this slowService from Greenville really concerns me and thinking that my item could have been stolen..Very worst experience I have ever had from the usps system..

Same reason i havent gotten my package eighter and i order my purchase in November 26 so it wont be late for Christmas.. distribution stop on December 8 it is now the December 18 where is my package !!!!📦 by the way Im in New York there noway to get to my package even if i could.

Arguably the worst USPS distribution center in America.Which is really saying something...(Why does the USPS even still exist?)

Typical government ran organization. Called the number on the website to have it go straight to voicemail that is full. The US Postal Service should go away and stop wasting tax payers money.

This is twice that Ive had a package sit here for weeks in end. I filed a claim and still nothing. I live one town over. My package has been stuck at this awful place since 1/22. Something needs to be done!

This is the worst experience I ever had with the USPS, I mailed my package on December 3rd and it still hasn’t arrived to its destination and it is now December 27th. I was told that my package is still at the Greenville distribution center and it is in transit to the next destination. Everytime I call I get the same message, that the mailbox is full...I will never depend on that center again!

Does anyone have a direct phone number for the facility? My very expensive priority mail package has been sitting there for 2 days less than 2 hrs from delivery location. It is a time sensitive package hence the priority?

This terrible operation is single-handedly going to destroy my small business. I have customer who purchased items on December 15th who are still waiting while their order just sits here not moving and with zero response from the USPS. This should not be allowed.

My first package stuck there for two weeks! My second package stuck there again... Im afraid of buying stuff with USPS delivery because it will stuck in GREENVILLE!!! Someone has to do something about this. Greenville distribution center is garbage...
