AdvantaClean did an awesome job with our home. We had just finished a new home build and the contractor and his subs were horrible. For 9 months we fought with them just to try and get them to do a decent job. So we were very concerned about having another company work on our home, but I found Josh with AdvantaClean to be very professional. he came in and inspected our crawl space and recommended French drains and pump, along with new barrier. This is the same thing two other companies said. The price was much better for the service.The team came out (Crew Chief Sarah, techs Matt, Blake and Ethan) to complete the work. They were on time, and work very hard. They were very informative throughout the process. The work done is excellent, and the odor we had from the way it was is gone, and the crawl space is nice and dry. the drains and pump work very well.I would definitely recommend this company and this crew. Did a good job on updating the vapor barrier in my crawl. However Advantaclean had issues getting my dehumidifier replaced in a timely fashion. Would have made the experience five star otherwise.

They were very prompt and met me to give me a proposal. Then they worked with me knowing that I was waiting for a buyer for the house before having the work done. The work was a bit more extensive then expected but they honored the price they gave me in return for a little more time. It was a good work experience, I will definitely use them again!! AdvantaClean installed a vapor barrier, dehumidifier and sump pump system to our crawl space and we are very pleased with their work. I will keep my word and leave a good review (not great). They did not solicit the good review. I offered. The work that the technician performed was excellent, but they did not do all of the work for which they billed me.BID - $1,200 to take out a section of wall, inspect for mold, clean the interior, disinfect, all while using an air-scrubber, and then fog the room to kill excess spores. Okay ... seems fair.WORK - The technician came and took out a small section of wall and sprayed the interior of the wall with anti-fungal and then left. Less than an hours worth of work.FOLLOW-UP - The on-site business manager let me know what happened and I called the company. They looked into it and stated that the tech had forgotten the fogger and/or took the wrong equipment, but that the internal area looked good so they really didnt need to do the fogging.They were willing to return and finish the job, but I declined as the business didnt need the distraction. All in all, we paid $1,200 for someone to come in, cut out a 2 x 4 section of drywall and then spray with antifungal. I could have done that for free, minus the cost of the anti-fungal.NOTE - This wasnt $1,200 to demolish, remove, clean and repair the wall. It was for demolition and removal only. We still have to pay someone else to repair the drywall.So, yes, AdvantaClean does excellent work Im sure, but just make sure you watch them every step of the way to ensure they are completing the work for which they contracted.

Run as fast as you can away from these people. I delt mostly with Greg and a little with the owner Dan. They treated our house for a leak that caused mold, they also charged a ton for a janky crawl space barrier. The air tests after the mold removal was still bad, which they stated would be corrected before they were done with the job, as the whole reason we were doing this is to live in a healthy/safe environment. They kept saying they weren’t sure why it kept coming back bad and just kept refogging our house over and over (instead of getting to the root cause) they left us with elevated numbers still. So I began getting very sick as I’m allergic to mold and reach back out to them. Numbers are still high and I show Greg that we found more mold in the bathroom where the leak was. He looked at it and said if it were my home I would just put drywall back up over it and leave it be and that It’s dry dormant mold. Ummm, aren’t you supposed to be a mold expert? Don’t you know that dry mold spores off mycotoxins even more? This is all spanned over a year as I’m getting sicker and these people telling me stuff is ok when it is not and coming back out to fog, they don’t even HEPA vac all the toxic mold spores they are digging to the ground. I did my own research and learned the correct way to remediate toxic mold, which isn’t even the way this mold company does it that is in the mold remediation business. Mind blowing!! So, I got a new mold test that showed it was off the charts. I paid Advanta thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. We hired someone else and had to pay them thousands more dollars that Advanta clean ripped us off from, Advanta also was supposed to remediate the mold from our crawl space when they put the barrier down, the new people found tons of mold they missed, or just didn’t remove and hid with insulation, and we had to have the barrier replaced because it was a joke and they didn’t even have it held down on the sides. I cannot say enough about the nightmare they put us through. They are only out for money and not actually helping people. I am severely allergic to old, they knew this and I am now having to see a specialty doctor to treat my severe mold toxicity. Beware of these people. I have heard lots more stories just like mine (some worse) since using them. Considering pursuing getting out money back since we have so much proof that they did not do the job correctly on so many levels that I won’t get in to.

I had a major moisture and mold problem in the homes crawlspace - brought on by 30 years of neglect and inattention. Dan and his team (lead by the inestimable Alisa!) did a thorough inspection and offer an affordable, effective solution involving: removing all existing insulation (damaged by moisture anyway), scrubbing and sealing all substructure wood to remove and prevent mold, digging/installing French drainage system throughout the crawlspace, installing a new sump pump (with battery back-up) in addition to the existing sump pump (ensuring remote areas of the crawlspace would drain properly), installing a thick Mylar encapsulation moisture barrier, and installing a dehumidifier to maintain a dry environment in the crawlspace.Whew! A lot of work. Alisa and her team worked straight through - showing dedication, attention to detail, effective work planning, and a lot of Carolina-induced sweat! Problems were encountered. And solved promptly at minimal/no extra cost. I was always kept informed of progress throughout the project. I KNEW I was getting the highest quality work possible...….The net result? A mold-free crawlspace, a moisture-controlled environment, and a healthier environment in my living space. AdvantaClean has my highest recommendation. Incomparable. Superior. We are dealing with a major water issue in our BRAND NEW built home that we lived in for 2 weeks when the event occurred. As of today, Day 3, the only empathy and concern Ive received on the issue is Dan! He doesnt work for the builder, he owns this water & mold company, yet he seems to actually care about what my family is going through, unlike the builder. (So far no acknowledgement from the builder!)His crew had been given the day off on Monday, with a clear schedule, but he called in his guys for my emergency and he was here from start to finish. He stayed with Roto Rooter while waiting for his crew. The list goes on and on. Aside from doing a thorough, professional job with our disaster, hes a great person to work with. I had wanted my home encapsulated, but because it is a very large home and very unique (a former church built in 1910) I had difficulty finding someone who would do the work. AdvantaClean did the work, was friendly about it, and offered a good price for the work. It has made a great difference in the heating/cooling of my home, the comfort level, and the humidity.

We had one of the specialists come out to our house for an inspection and he was kind, (extremely) knowledgable, and respectful. After locating a site with potential mold, instead of pulling out an invoice, he walked me through how I might clean it up myself, as it was rather small and inconsequential. Any other company may have unnecessarily scared me into gutting the house and paying a fortune. I highly recommend their services!

So I want this to go viral as Im driving down Shirley Store rd here in anderson sc. This company truck as shown in pictures is backing up from an unauthorized area to even be in was not paying attention to traffic I was hauling a trailer in which was occupied by horses and I could not stop in time so I started to hold on the horn thinking maybe he couldnt see me and he stopped backing up which is great but then proceeds to hang out his window halfway and flipped me the bird so I then proceeded to continue to slow down till I came to a complete stop got out of my vehicle question him for his reasons as you flipping me off as I was only alerting him that I was coming and unable to stop he then was made to go around us so that we could get a picture of his plate and his truck number and if you ask me this is very unprofessional for employees to be working at this company that keep in mind come into our house and I told this company when I reported him that I would not use their services and would not recommend their services due to the fact that they carry such an employee as him I would not trust this companys employees coming into my house nor my friends house or my familys house so please share the heck out of this post to warn people about this company and their so-called good employees.
