Been around for years. Skilled at what they do. π
Nice price. Honest pricing.
Good food at great prices
Did a fantastic job. Polite. Great rates recommend to my friend.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE - We purchased a beautiful little BMW convertible for my daughter. It was an older model but in excellent condition. The only thing it needed was a new top. I called Mr. Myers before we even bought the car for advice on the top and he said it would be no problem. We bought the car and took it straight to Myers for a new top. He DESTROYED our car! He said it would take one week, which turned into three . Every time I called about it, he had a different excuse.I had a feeling something was wrong and boy was I right....Not only does the top not work, the paint is damaged in several areas, the electrical system was damaged (no radio or seats), Inside the trunk, the taillights were broken and the wall panels wont stay on. The window seals dont meet now so it sounds like a window is open all the time. Air rushes in. He REFUSED to take responsibility for this damage, saying it came in that way. It absolutely DID NOT! We were furious and gave him a chance to correct it and left it another two weeks with him...it was the exact same! We still can not put the top up or down . The car is basically trashed. We are heartbroken and this was such a special gift for our daughter. The cost to sue him would be more than the car is worth now, so we are at a loss. He is an arrogant old man that refused to admit his mistakes and in turn cost us our CAR.
Just picked the Sun Pad up for our Searay 240 Signature. Meyers did a beautiful job and salvaged Memorial Day for our family! They do excellent work. Definitely recommend Meyers!
I had taken my 350Z in a couple of years ago for a new convertible top and was well pleased with the workmanship and promptness so when we needed a new boat cover for my pontoon boat I turned to Myers. He said he was backed up and to bring it to him in 2 weeks, which I did. Once there he said he had fallen behind and it would be 2-3 weeks before he would have it ready. I didnt phone but showed up at the end of 3 weeks expecting my boat. He informed me that where he normally gets his material that I had picked out was back-ordered and he would need to get it out of a different warehouse that would take 3 or 4 more days. This told me he hadnt bothered to order the material until the last minute but I didnt want to start the process over with another company. I waited 7 days and went back and he hadnt started but was assured the material was in transit and would be there that day or the next. I called multiple times on that Friday, 4 days later and the day before the Memorial Day weekend, and could never get an answer. The day after Memorial Day I went to the shop and my boat hadnt been touched. I simply said I was taking my boat, hooked up and left. I wasted 5 weeks of the boating season and still dont have a cover and after sitting exposed for so long the interior is filthy and Ill have to spend a day cleaning.
Great job with our car.
Three months to do a seat on a vintage bike. Every week Id stop in to find nothing done and have to hear him criticize his other customers. Once he did finish it was not what as ordered and he proceeded to insulted me as well. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Maybe at one time they were a good company to work with, but not anymore. I had an appointment to drop off my vehicle. A process that should have taken 2 or 3 weeks has now 2 months. They didnt start working on the car until 5 weeks after I dropped it off. Theyve completely taken it apart, but are taking their sweet time putting it back together.Myers trim shop will not call you to give you updates, even when you specifically request it. Theyll also give you lots of excuses why its taking so long. Today they gave me the excuse that its because they have a lot of angry customers. I cant imagine why. Thanks to their transparency on this issue, I will be picking up my car today in pieces and taking it to another shop to finish the job. I have no confidence in this company, buyer beware, shop for upholstery services elsewhere.
Great work good prices
Holy moly. Guess i should have checked the reviews before I called. What a disaster of unprofessionalism. The other reviews were right. Guy is a rude dirt bag.
I took my buick to this NON PROFESSIONAL CROOK to have my headliner replaced. When I picked up my car BOTH sunvisorβs were broke, my controls for my sun roof were covered and overall work manship was appalling. When i confronted the owner and told him he needed to fix the problems he told me he didnβt break my visors . I could go on but I would be here for longer than I want.DONβT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL BE TAKEN!!!!Thief non professional!!!!!!!
I called to ask for a rough estimate on my motorcycle seat and he cut me off before i could even finish asking and said Im too old to remember every motorcycle name, bring it in. I told him to give me a rough estimate of how much he charges for motorcycle seats and he just yelled to bring it in. I dont understand why anyone could give a rough estimate of what it would cost, i could do that and i dont have a buisiness. I will never bring anything to this shop and based on the other reviews Im lucky not to.
Mr. Myers is the very best. Amazing customer service π
Title of this review, if they allowed the space for it, would be More of the same... For once, I failed to do my due diligence and research this business. I figured that since itd been there forever and a day, it must be good. Honestly, I never had the chance to find out the quality of their work as the old man, as hes called, couldnt get around to work on my car for a few hour project despite me scheduling it 2 weeks in advance AND leaving the car with him an extra 2 days. One time I went by, he advised that he wasnt able to get to it due to being on the phone much of the day with customers - based on previous reviews, he was probably dealing with disgruntled customers such as myself. He *may* have done great work in the past, but as he told me, hes hoping to retire next year. Truthfully, he needs to retire TODAY. Save yourself grief and go elsewhere...
Company has been around since 1960, its a father to son outfit. Good quality work and they aswered all my questions. Very professional, and i would recommend them to anyone needing interior work done.
I spent all winter rebuilding the engine in my boat so I could take the family out on the lake this summer. I also needed to rebuild the back cushions in the bow as the wood had rotted. I tried to do it myself, but it looked like I did it, so decided to have a professional do it. I took it to Myers Trim Shop in Greenville, SC. They have been in business for a long time so I assumed they were good. I took my boat to Myers in late May and was told that it would be four weeks before he could get to it. I made an appointment that day to return on Xxxxxxx. I returned with my boat in tow on that day and Mr Myers had no idea I was coming- even though he was the one that made the appointment. He said he was going on vacation the following week but would get on it as soon as he got back. I waited what I thought was a reasonable time- 2 weeks and called only to find that he was, not finished yet. Keep in mind that I was only having the back cushions in the bow rebuilt. I even handed him all the wood, foam and material. Long story, short- I called every week for the next 4 weeks and was told each that he was, not done yet. Last week I called him on on Thursday and asked it would be ready on Friday. He said it would be ready by 12:00. I arrived at 2:00 only to find that they close at 12:00 on Friday. One would think he might have told me that. I also noticed through the fence that my bow was empty- no cushions. I went back this week (6 weeks after I dropped it off), to pick it up, ready or not. Not only was it not finished, it had not been touched. The cushions were in the same place I put them when I dropped the boat off 6 weeks earlier. To say that I would not recommend Myers Trim Shop is putting it lightly. This is absolutely no way to do business. I have no idea what their work is like, but their business practice is unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable.
We had quite a different experience than the other posters. I would NEVER go back to this shop for anything. We had a convertible top replaced and it was a disaster. Trim pieces broken and falling off, paint around top of trunk ruined, multiple fasteners missing / never reinstalled. To this day I am still having to do repairs myself for various flaws. Overall a very poor job that looked like it was done by a 5 year old. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I would give zero stars if it was an option. Your mileage may vary...
I honestly believe this owner wants to retire. The energy, professionalism, courtesy, and desire to keep afloat denotes a level resembling someone whoβs ready to close the business or sell to someone whoβs willing to give the place a chance. Case and point: my wife took our car in at 8:05 AM for an appointment scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM. No one greeted her. She waited 10 minutes until she was acknowledged. Upon greeting, she discovers that the only person who can fix our car is the owner and heβs not working today. THE OWNER WAS THE ONE WHO SCHEDULED OUR APPOINTMENT AND SAID IT WOULD ONLY TAKE AN HOUR WHILE SHE WAITED!!What a joke! Additionally, not that it should matter but simply shows the lack of human empathy permeating the business, my wife is visibly pregnant and still received horrible service!
I really had a great experience with Don and his crew. I learned a great deal about my 2008 vw convertible in the process. That vehicle looks showroom new with a great top! I originally had a classic issue where the glue around the tempered glass insert pulled away - essentially rendering the top useless.Don and his crew were patient with me as I worked through two vendors to finally get the correct parts. Very honorable business and that guy knows everyone in town! I strongly suggest you start there for your vehicle or any leather or trim needs at all.
Luv the old man, been using his service for over 10 years! If u need upholstery on boat, car, motorcycle he will get it done
Did a great job on my VW ccEnjoyed talking with him about the old times in Greenville
Ive used Myers several times and have found them always to be responsive and care for the work they do. If you need trim work Myers is your place.
Horrible place to take your car!! He had my bmw since Feb. Didnt start on it till 3 months later. Let my battery go dead and wanted me to buy a new battery for it. Its now Oct and I still dont have my car back. Please whatever you do, dont take your vehicle there!!
Gave deposit for convertible top in July. Almost November and nothing done. Only got updates when I call and kept getting excuses Then when I cancelled he wants to charge me for using my credit card.
The guy who runs this place is so mean. He wouldnβt even take the time to listen to what I wanted done over the phone. Very unprofessional. Not sure how he gets any business. Call someone else...
They installed a new top on our Toyota Solara
Great service.
