Been here several times over the last year. Mostly easy things like new tires and oil change. Picked up my van today and they had failed to lock the car up overnight and someone had gone through the vehicle and stolen some items. Left their food wrappers, lighters, and my van a mess.James (owner of this shop) chose to shrug it off. When I asked arent you even going to apologize he scoffed and said well I mean thats obvious (that he was sorry). Complete lack of remorse.This incident resulted in an afternoon spent dealing with the Sherriff, filing a report, and beginning to replace paperwork (stolen car and insurance documents). What a headache.If youre looking for a business that doesnt take responsibility for their work (and your car!), give James a call.If youre looking for a business that operates with integrity, compassion, and basic human decency, call someone else.

Didn’t get the main guys name, but he was absolutely amazing. Got me a appointment for today at 8:oo am. Waiting room was so clean, along with bathroom, free coffee, hand sanitizer and masks if needed. Truck runs so smooth and gave me a very good tire price, didn’t try to upsale and watched him work with other people. So nice and honest. Would highly recommend and will be going back for my next oil change

Today was the 3rd time I have used Poinsett Tire Pros, and I am very happy with their work. Very friendly every time (only really dealt with one guy... bald guy who is usually at the desk in the mornings, sorry bud, forgot yer name). I had 4 tires replaced on my Honda, a rotate and balance on my Dodge truck, and today I had my oil changed. They took a nail out of my tire that I acquired between the time I made my appoint and the day I got there to get my tires R&B, and plugged it for free. All in all good service.

Called at 11 am to see if I could drop off my vehicle at 12 pm for an oil change to have it ready by 5 pm. Was told it’d be no issue at all. Dropped it off at 12 pm and confirmed again that it’d be ready by 5 pm. They said of course, no issue at all. I showed up at 5 pm and they hadn’t even touched my vehicle. They said they could have it finished in 30 minutes but it was too late at that point. They caused me and it looks like many others a major inconvenience. They must have a communication issue here. When I called and dropped it off I even offered to pay the Groupon amount in cash to save a local business some money. I was looking forward to using them to get some tires, but I’ll be avoiding them now, though the location is convenient for me.

Went in for new tires, the guys in the shop are super thorough, super friendly, reasonably priced, and really good at their jobs. They even reset a message on my dashboard that I couldn’t get to go away without me asking. I will definitely be back!

Just dropped my car off with a slow leak in one tire, they removed the nail and plugged it for free withing two hours. Phenomenal. Will definitely come back when Im ready for a set.

Picked up a large screw/nail in one of my tires. Was told by an independent mechanic friend I definitely needed a new tire. Jiffy Lube (right by my house) said they dont plug, only patch.. and at an outrageous price. Took it to Poinsett Tire Pros and the owner assured me I definitely didnt need a new tire, and a plug was fine. Left out of there for less than $20. Highly recommend!

I have been to Poinsett Tire Pros twice, both times during dire times with a flat. During both visits I was treated respectfully and the gentleman that took care of me was professional. They were able to get me in on the spot and had my tires patched up quick (30 mins max and even less than that.) Great price too.Would definitely recommend.

They are very quick and nice people. I went in for an oil changed and they fixed the air pressure on my tire. I have had a small leak in my tire and they fixed it without me saying anything. I highly recommend them!!

Bought a Groupon for wheel alignment. Made an appt.and took car there as it was pulling to the right. Left after alignment and it was still pulling to the right. Turn around immediately and took it back. They rotated brand new tires(4) I just put on about a lil over a week before taking to them and when I left still pulling to right. I called them and told them still doing the same. I drove for a week on different roads just to make sure it wasnt the roads. Made another appt to align again. They did it again and its a lil better but still pulls a lil. Will be taking it to a highly recommended place this coming week to see if they can handle the test. Tried to save money with a Groupon and its going to cost me more in the long run.

I made an appointment 2 days in advance to get a 4 wheel alignment. I took off from work early to drop my truck off and was told it would be an hour and a half. Two and a half hours later I had not heard anything so I went back and was told it would be another 2 hours before they could even get to my vehicle. I did not even get an apology and so I took my keys and left. Horrible customer service.

WARNING: Trusting Groupon deals is not always the best deal. Had car aligned two weeks ago. Yesterday noticed that my front drivers side tire was damaged. Took the car to get a new tire and the technician, who had no idea the car had recently been aligned, said that there was an alignment issue that caused the damage to both drivers side tires. Made an appointment with a reputable company to have the alignment checked. Technician there said that the alignment was off and if not addressed would add pressure to the drivers side and damage the tires. We dropped off the car and returned to pick it up. Not even sure they even worked on the car. Lesson learned: you pay for what you get.

I called them and booked an appointment and when I got there they immediately pulled my car into the shop and started working on it. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, 45 minutes later I was ready to go. I will go back again when its time.

Love James and the Poinsett Tire Pros family. My husband and I have come here for years and drive almost an hour passing many other places along the way. We have bought our share of lemons but James has kept us on the road. We can count on him and his team to be upfront and honest with us and finish the work in a timely manner.

Horrible experience! 1st and last time! If I could give them negative stars I would. They told me it would be 59.99 for a wheel alignment. Came back 15 min later and charged me $40 just to look at it. They are by far the most dishonest shop Ive dealt with. Stay clear they are quick to just rip you off. I wouldve appreciated to had been informed that there was a cost to simply LOOK at the alignment as opposed to just throwing the charge on me once they have already done the work! The honest thing to do would have been to advise the customer that there is a diagnostic fee. You are incorrect there are plenty of shops that do free estimates. You folks maybe family owned but your crooked and thats bad business. I will make sure that I tell everyone I know about this experience. Nobody should be taken advantage of. Everybody should know of the shady business you folks do!

Took my car to have tires rotated and received a call that the rear brake pads were shot and the front brake pads were “Razer” thin. Could do both for $525. Asked how long would they last was given the answer less than a month. Had them replace the back pads. Took the car to a reputable shop to have the front pads replaced and was told they had about half the pad remaining. No need to replace. Wonder after paying $187 for the back if they ever needed replacing. What kind of people lie to your face in order to put money in their pockets=crooks.

Stopped everything to plug a flat tire. And then didnt charge for it. Will definitely go back to buy tires

I had been going here for some time getting routine oil changes and tire rotations. They said I needed new brakes, but I had the Subaru dealership check them out during a recall appointment, and they said they were fine. Needless to say Poinsett has lost my business. Too bad.

I first came in to get a four-wheel alignment for my 2016 Civic using the Groupon deal they had going on. After my first appointment, I didn’t notice any difference in the driving of my car and the steering was still off-center. I came in two days later and told them the issue, and they said they had a guy come out to calibrate their machine THE DAY AFTER I came in. So how am I supposed to know that the machine isn’t calibrated properly the first time? I had just put on brand new tires too, so that would’ve worn the tires down quicker and caused uneven tread wear/edge-wear, which would’ve required me to get new tires sooner, another $700-800. After a second appointment, they fixed the alignment properly and actually drove the car around to check the alignment this time. Long story short, I will never come back here again for anything. Especially after reading the reviews on people with more mechanical issues like oil changes. Spend more money on a more professional and better service and don’t waste your time here.

The staff is nice. The lobby is clean. Their abilities with repairs and oil changes is a problem. We took my daughter’s car there for the Groupon oil change deal. Huge mistake. They put the wrong viscosity oil in it. Now it’s at the Saab repair shop awaiting a quote to correct any damage their mistake caused. I also left my truck there at the same time with a gas tank issue. It wouldn’t fill properly. Gas would backsplash every time I put fuel in. After having it a week they told me there was 5 different tanks available for my truck and they didn’t know which one fit it because someone put the wrong tank in before. I did a simple google search and found there is only one tank for my truck and a bad rollover valve was the issue with the fuel backsplash. I dropped the tank and repaired the valve for $10 in parts. Believe the bad reviews. Go somewhere else.

I went to this place today to get tires. While I was there a guy told me that my brakes were thin and he said (verbatim) that he could do them economically with just replacing the pads. So I told him to go ahead. Well those brake pads (nothing else) ended up costing a near $300 extra. And then he conveniently got lost before I left. Never will I give them business or recommend this place again. again.

Refused to honor the road hazard warranty sold with the Hercules tire I purchased claiming Hercules wouldnt honor because of the damage to the tire. Called Hercules directly and they did not hesitate to assist and they were also confused why i was refused assistance and the warranty wasnt being honored. Would not recommend.

Stopped in with a leaky tire. Was out the door with a safely rolling vehicle within 25 minutes. The staff was pleasant as was the waiting area. I used the free wifi to take care of a few to-dos while they fixed the tire. The price was right. Truly a great experience!!

Fast honest service, had me in and out quickly. Asked about a idle issue and was told with the low amount of mileage i should take it to the dealer for warranty service. There was oil on the throttle body which can be a result of a leaky seal. Free WIFI, TV, plenty of seating, cool decor.. When in the Greenville, SC area definitely get your service here..

I got my car towed here after it broke down on me at work and they replaced the alternator and charged me 500 dollars just for the alternator!! Then not even two weeks later it cut off on me and took it to another shop and they replaced the distributor. Then two days ago it broke down again got it towed to another place and now they are saying its the alternator again!! Never will I take my car back here again way to expensive plus didnt even fix the alternator.

I come to them every time I have a tire problem. This morning I was headed out of town when I noticed my back tire was a little flat. I found that there was a tire lodged in the tire. When I explained that I was headed out of town and needed to be there in a couple hours, the got me in and out of the shop in 30 minutes. Very happy with the service I received, as I always am. Even if I am not pressed for time, they usually get me out of the shop within an hour or two. The staff is always very friendly. Waiting area has a nice TV, massage chair, coffe bar, and free wifi!

Had the folks here replace a wheel bearing. They got it in and out same day, but I still had issues. When I brought it back, they acknowledged the problem (the replacement bearing was bad) and they corrected the issue same day with no additional charge. They took responsibility and fixed the issue. That goes a long way with me. Will definitely go back when I need more work done.

Weve done business with Poinsett Tire Pros several times over the past few years, purchasing 10 tires and three nitrogen services from them. Ive never had a problem with them until recently. Last year we had them replace two worn tires on our car with new ones. Two weeks ago my significant other hit something in the road on I-85 North of the airport which left him stranded at night for hours waiting on roadside assistance. Thinking it was just a flat and being exhausted he had the tow truck drop him off at a Wal-Mart just a couple of minutes from our house.The next morning we went in to see if they could fix the flat. Unfortunately, last year when putting on the new tires Poinsett Tire Pros did not put our lugnut key back into the package, and now we were stuck because there was no way to remove the tire. I called them to ask if they still had our lugnut key, and was told they had several miscellaneous ones, and to bring the car over and theyd match it up. I told them the car wasnt driveable and that it wouldnt be until we had the key to fix the tire, and asked if I could just come pick up the ones they had, bring them back to the crippled vehicle and figure out which one was ours, then bring the rest of them back.I was told no, that Id have to bring either the car or the lugnut over there. Since I couldnt get the lugnut off without the key, the only way we could do THAT was to tow the car again. So I said if I had to tow the car again to take over there so they could identify which key was ours, were they going to pay for it, he said No. Guess you should have had the car towed here to begin with.SO, instead of owning their mistake and working with me to correct it---I was perfectly willing to go to the trouble of making the two trips out and back---one to pick up the jumble of miscellaneous keys they had apparently failed to put back in various vehicles, and another trip to bring them back the ones that didnt fit our car---they gave me lip and left me with no way of getting ANY wheels off my car. As a result they will never get our business again.

I have been a customer for years. They take good care of you, are fair in pricing and usually fast in service.

The price was doubled from what we agreed on. James Duffield, the owner told me it would be $4584.50 for a new engine the warranty was for 3 years 36,000 miles. He said it would be like having a new car and the water pump was included it comes with the engine. After the engine was supposedly been installed. He said it was going to be an extra $1200.00 for a new coolant fan assy (assembly) he said he wasnt joking he had the receipt to show the cost and it had to be done it was part of the engine also. (I never seen it when I asked for the invoices only his company receipts). The cost for all the work and repairs came to $9198.00 When I went to pick up my car when finished he wasnt in the shop, he left for Acapulco and my warranty papers werent available ither. Soon as I left the shop I cut off (poof) and there was a horrible smell coming inside my car. Not even a good mile from the shop just right past News Center 4 in the after 5 pm traffic on Poinsett Hwy. When I received it back finally it had been there for another 2 weeks, it cuts back off again this time on a hot day with my children on Whitehorse Rd. I asked what was wrong? He said he didnt know, he gave me attitude and no concern. After all the money I worked hard for. Away from my children trying to do the right thing and put trust into this company to do the job. When I called to see if they found the problem. He called my car a thing, he didnt know and he would let me know as soon as he found out something. With an attitude again and hung the phone up on me. So I went there and I asked him did he put a new engine in my car? He was babbling, he didnt want to give me the warranty information when I asked him for it. He told me dont worry about it he would be there. I asked him where did my engine come from? He said LKQ then he changed it to Jasper 3 years 100,000 miles. My check engine light dont appear on at all when I turn on my ignition switch like the bulb is out. I had to take my car to the dealership and spend out even more money to fix what was incorrectly done. I had also paid this company to fix my windows, they arent working the same problem I paid them to fix. I was charged for windshield wipers that I didnt ask for and he didnt suggest them and my wipers werent working at all. I also had the dealership look at that problem I was told my fuse wasnt pushed all the way in (WOW). Ive done business with this company before but nothing major like this. YOU CANT TRUST EVERYONE. 😈s in this type of business. I want commit on what others have experienced. Taking the bus or 🚸 is nothing new. Your experience is about you. 💤

I took my CRV here for a minor issue involving the 4WD. I waited patiently for a week, each day they told me it would be first in the next day. On Friday, after the car had been on the lot for 4 days, I called to see if the car would be ready before the weekend and the owner yelled at me over the phone. When I went to pick up the car the owner continued to yell at me and chased me into the parking lot telling me he did not want any business from my kind. I simply took my car across the street where they were able to fix it in a matter of a few hours for $30.***James, I am sorry that you cannot own up to your discriminatory business practices. It truly is a shame. I am also sorry that you are unable to reply to my dissatisfaction in a complete sentence using correct grammar. If there is more to this story please enlighten me.

Recommendations should be not to take consumers money. Doubling prices seems for one owns gain. Buyers beware!!!
